Abby never should have trusted her boss, or the stupid costume he forced her to wear in his little display with the living plush turkeys. After a few days on the job, an unmarked truck came by unannounced, the passengers beginning to disassemble the display. Abby stood by and watched, wondering if she still had a job, while they loaded up the plush turkeys and set pieces.

Then, one of the men came with a crate for Abby. She nervously informed them she wasn’t property, but a living employee. But the man was insistent, he had purchased this whole display in bankruptcy; the set, the living plush turkeys, and he even paid extra for a ‘living, talking turkey,’ She didn't have much time to protest before she was picked up and stuffed into a crate built for a smaller bird.

Abby was taken upstate to a farm museum, and has been unable to convince anyone she's more than a turkey toy. Apparently, there's some idiotic ruling that if someone poses as an object, and is subsequently purchased as said object, they become proper property, with all the rights and privileges that that entails. So Abby lives in the barn with her fowl friends, stuck as a plush turkey.

That’s it. That’s the caption.

Happy Thanksgiving!
