This project has been very very cool so far. I know I'm riffing off common sci-fi themes, but it's the first time I've tried this. This scene, in particular, felt like shades of Mr. Smith talking to a captured Morpheus. It's not as good, of course, but it's in that direction. That, and I love the little bits of worldbuilding. I basically see Silicon Life as a Super Apple + Google that's been given certain privileges by the government. A company that knows everything about you and makes everything you buy.
