So this is an idea literally hours old. It started with me thinking about The Singularity (which is dumb, BTW, but I digress), and I somehow ended up in a fetish story about someone turned into an android. I thought about how Apple and Microsoft, and everybody, really, has a First Time Setup program and how that might relate to someone turned into an android. This was the result.<div><br /></div><div>Everything in this sort of popped out as I was writing it. The First Time Setup's increasing frustration at her Mistress, to the point where I think FTS is her own character now. I realized only halfway through that I already recently used a character named Andi/Andrea, so that may change. Also fun: the light grazing I do at the trough of privacy and how so much of our world is connected into electronic ecosystems, and how that would naturally increase in this insane world where people can be designated into androids.</div><div><br /></div><div>I do hope to write more, and soon.
