This is another story written for a friend, though I don't think she has a DA. I really, really, liked the idea of having a life, but also being someone's possession. I put in little hints that there were other, former, dolls out there, partly to communicate that she may be let go eventually, but also to perhaps introduce some conflict in a sequel.
