So, this is a bit of a test for 'The Genie of Solomon High,' the Genie rampaging and causing chaos in a high school story I was brainstorming a few months back.<br /><br />You might notice it has a different style than my normal writing. That's because I've been reading Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchett's "Good Omens." I don't normally riff on someone else's style so hard, but I was stuck for what to do with this story.<br /><br />If you read this story with a British Accent, you are doing it Right.<br /><br />The last third or so of the story is older, and does not have the maniac style of the first 2/3rds. Don't worry, it will in time. I just wanted to post it because I really like the idea of turning someone into a magic carpet, and I couldn't help myself.
