It is a beautiful, sunny day in the park in your small town, and today is the day of the monthly market. There are dozens of tables and stands selling a variety of items. Some sell fruits from their garden, some sell their arts and crafts, and some use this as an opportunity to clean out their garage.
You walk through the park, enjoying the warm sunlight and breeze. Maybe you’ll take a stroll along the river nearby. Something’s so far have interested you, but not much. You walk calmly along and see one strange booth.
Well, it’s more of a cart. A wheelbarrow filled with curios, but you don’t get a good look inside to see what they are. The seller sits in front of, rather than behind, the cart. He’s an old man with a long white beard, his head almost bald. His face is wrinkled, and liver spots cover his body. He’s nodding off, his arms crossed and head drooping slightly. He’s dressed in cowboy boots and jeans with a red checkered shirt.
You pay him no mind, but as you pass by, he sits up. One eye opens. Then the other. He smiles.
“I’ve been waiting for you,” he says.
That alone gets you to stop.
“I’m just looking,” you tell him.
“And you have found.” He reaches behind him, hardly looking, and produces an item from his cart. (A Bottle or Lamp) “Do you know what this is?”
You shake your head, feeling nervous.
“This is a Genie Vessel. Or, it should be. It is currently empty.” He seems entirely serious saying something so ridiculous.
“Ok, Mister,” you tell him, “I should go.”
“Of course you must. You will decide who gets to be the Genie for this vessel.”
That keeps you stopped. “Just so we’re clear, you’re talking about a Genie, right? Magical wishes? Lives in a lamp? Calls people Master?”
“You have it exactly.” He offers the (Bottle or Lamp) and implores you to take it.
“What’s the price?” You ask.
“There is none. Genie’s are a necessary part of the ecology of magic, and there are far too few of them these days. By binding someone to this vessel, you will be helping save the world.”
“O…kay.” You tell him, reach out to touch the vessel. “But what about you?”
“Do you think I would be giving away a vessel if I had need of it?”
You take the (Bottle or Lamp) in your hand and feel a small thrum of energy work through your body. “Whoa.”
“It likes you. To bind someone, merely point the vessel at them and speak these words three times: Genie, I Bind Thee to Thine Vessel.”
“That’s it?”
“That’s it.”
“What if I bind you?” It was an idle question, but the old man took a hardened gaze when he looked at you.
“That would be unwise. Very unwise,” He said, his voice dark. You swear for just a moment a dark cloud passes overhead and all the birds nearby stopped chirping.
You get the message.
“One last thing. If you bind someone, you cannot unbind them. They maybe freed later, but not by you.”
You stare at the vessel for a long moment, and a question pops into your head. An important one. “How many wishes will I…” when you look up, the man is gone, and so is his cart.
You weren’t sure you believed the man. Could you really bind someone to this vessel? Was it right to bind someone? Did it even matter? He gave you the power, why should you not use it? Thinking on these and other questions, you begin walking through the park. Looking for someone to bind.

My name is Xandra, and I'm sitting underneath a tall, shady tree, on a thick picnic blanket and reading a book. I’m a girl, tall, maybe taller than you, it’s hard to tell. I have my long blonde hair pulled into a messy bun. I wear red and black glasses. My clothes aren’t especially interesting: a white shirt and shorts. My shoes are set off to the side, and my legs down to my feet are wrapped in apple red tights.
I’m so engrossed in my book that I don’t notice you until you’re standing almost on my blanket.
----
Scenario:
You’ve been given a magic vessel which can capture one person to be its wish-granting Genie, and you’ve found me. There’s still a lot you don’t know. You don’t know how many wishes you get. Can they be undone? Can you get more wishes, or more genies? All you know for sure is that once you bind me, you cannot free me.
Things to think about:
Do we know each other? We could be coworkers, or classmates, friends, or strangers. Do you have a crush on me? Or I on you? It’s up to you. I will say, from experience, having our characters know each other is quite fun.
What does your character WANT? Money, power, a family, love, companionship, friends, a purpose, famous, etc.
How does you character treat the Genie (me?) It may be wise to be kind to your wishgranter, but it’s not as fun. Are they nice to a point, until they must put their foot down?
Does your character feel sorry for binding me?
About Wishes:
Let’s keep wishes down to the ground, but you can risk more extravagant wishes. Bigger wishes will require bigger responses. Maybe someone out there doesn’t appreciate you trying to take over the world and has the power to stop you. Some TF, TG, and other fetishy stuff can be fun, but let’s not make them the main part of the story.
I reserve the right to interpret your wish as I wish.
If you’re interested, respond with the phrase: I want you to be my Genie.
EDIT: To be clear, this is a one Genie (me) scenario. Only Masters (or Mistresses) apply inside.
EDIT 2: I love shy boys who have a crush on the Genie, but you don't ALL have to be shy boys who have a crush on the Genie.
