Previous part:  Like Clockwork AT 05:00 - The Spring of Aeons P1The second night they spent on Kelahili island went by a lot smoother than the first. Everybody was a little calmer about the volcano but the prospect of meeting with the Empress of the merfolk did bring with it some anxieties. As such, when Dawnyte came to greet them the following morning, she encountered the members of the church as a bunch of nervous wrecks. Even Lavini appeared a little shaken. As big of a part as she was of the nobility, she had never met an Empress before.

Next part: LCAT Fragments of Time: Festival of the Currents“Whoah, you guys look like zombies,” Dawnyte remarked. She had come to wake up the members of the church again the following morning pretty early. After all, today was the day of the festival!
“You wouldn’t believe why,” Estella muttered. She was still busy rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
    “Try me,” Dawnyte said.
“Well…” Bridget started. She then began detailing what had happened on the day before, with input from everybody else along the way. Their meeting with the Empress, the trip to the Temple of Eternal Currents, restarting the Spring of Aeons, and, of course, the reawakening of the Seeress Rylla.
“Wait… so this Rylla was able to tell you about the old priestesses?” Dawnyte asked.
“She would have been,” “if she didn’t,” “immediately vanish on us,” the twins groaned.
