24 days. 24 transformations. 25 people that have had themselves transform in the spirit of Christmas. People that have come together for this joyful holiday and gave up their humanity in order for this time to be truly special.
Corey, the Christmas tree, is standing tall in the center of the room. He is proud to be such a wonderful tree, displaying his branches and extending his roots. The perfect tree.
Laura, the gingerbread girl, is lying on her plate. She is sugary and sweet and has been nibbled on many times already. A most delicious treat.
Doli Fay, the snow within a snowglobe, is trickling down slowly. She is creating a true winter wonderland that many would love to walk around in, for a snowball fight or to make a snowman.
Teysa, the Christmas dress, is wrapped snugly around my body. He is keeping my body nice and warm in the snow and he looks stylish to boot.
Eileen, the light spirit, is illuminating the Christmas lights up in the tree. Each little bulb is activated by Eileen’s luminous body as she makes a wonderful display in all the colours of the rainbow.
Iridius, the Christmas wreath, hangs up on the mantelpiece. A must-have for any Christmas room, they rest there to give the room a very cozy feeling.
Lisa, the sweater, is wrapped snugly around Emilia’s body. She looks very homely and cozy, and would have felt very soft too if it weren’t for her involvement in our own transformation.
Vin, the nutcracker, stands underneath the Christmas tree. Perhaps, tonight, the rat king might come and he will have to defend the room against that. But until then, he stands there as a wooden soldier.
Serena, the stockings, hang up on the mantelpiece below the wreath. Up until last night, she had been quite empty but on Christmas eve, of course, that feeling of emptiness ended as she has now been filled with various gifts.
Ruby, the Christmas ornaments, hang from the Christmas tree. The orbs of all sorts of colours are reflecting the lights and add so much to our tree.
Stargizar, the candy cane, is lying on his own plate. Much like the gingerbread girl, he is a delicious treat for all of us and many have snuck in a few licks or bites of their own.
Megan, the ice skates, are standing by the door outside. Ready to be used once again for some fun on the ice, she has been the source of many fun-filled days throughout the latter half of December for the remaining people not yet transformed.
Helen, the toy train, is driving around the Christmas tree ever onwards. The old steam train is a wonderful gift for many fun-filled sessions of play. Wouldn’t it be so much fun if she could drive around like that through a winter wonderland like in the snowglobe?
Wolf, the Santa hat, is resting on my head. His thoughts have been going haywire almost non-stop about how exciting this all is. About how he’ll definitely want to do something like this more often.
Iris, the sled, is standing next to the ice skates and just like the latter, she has been the source of a lot of fun, riding through the snow. Oh, how badly she would love to be used more often but alas, there is nobody left who is still animate.
Sarah, the holiday card, is standing right next to the Christmas stockings. One could be mistaken to think that she was sent here by someone. She certainly has become a beautiful piece of artwork upon her card. Inside, it just says ‘Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’, as if her thoughts had become just as stuck as the drawing depicting her.
Johann, the bundle of mistletoe, hangs from the ceiling right above the snowglobe. He had been the source of plenty of kisses now and currently, he is privy to one particular kiss that has been going for about a day now. A kiss that would still last for some time longer.
Liza, the mittens, are wrapped around my hands. The hands that I am holding on Emilia. She is protecting them from the cold snow and doing a very good job of it.
Eliza, the jingle bell, is swinging from the sled. It is a curious thing that, every so often, she jingles seemingly on her own, sending a winter chime through the otherwise silent room. Is she doing that? Or could it simply be a breeze sneaking its way inside? Who is to say, really?
Chloe, the scarf, is keeping my neck warm. The final piece of clothing that has been merged into the statue of the kissing couple. She was otherwise so very soft and snugly.
Chloé, the fire elemental, is still warming up the room. She lives in the fireplace and feeds herself on wood for fuel and sometimes, she has to replenish her supply, making sure not to burn anything else.
Luke, the Christmas star, sits proudly atop the tree. Shining brightly, he is the star of the show. He truly finishes off the wonderful decorations already in place.
Rey, the reindeer plushie, hangs out of the gift box he came in. He is soft and squishy and the perfect gift for anyone. All he now wants is to be hugged.
And finally, Emilia and I, the kissing figures, are standing within the snowglobe. We are surrounded by the snow and though we both have our eyes closed, we have each other. We can feel each other’s presence. We are not alone.
Thus concludes the AdvenTF Calendar, with all these people transformed. Of course, they will all turn back after Christmas, one by one. But until then, we would all like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a happy new year.
