Discovery
As you wander through the caves near the town, you happen upon the statue of a young man, looking at some unseen foe with great fear in his eyes. Obviously this must have been a victim of some other mage. By the looks of it, he has been here for a few days now and you think about releasing him from his predicament when you suddenly hear a hissing noise coming from behind you. You jump back and prepare a spell, but you are relieved to find that it's just a snake that happened to be slithering around on the ground. You look from the snake to the statue and back to the snake again. A grin forms on your face as an idea for a new spell strikes you.

This person is a Fierce Gorgon. She looks like any other woman from head to toe, except for her hair, which consists of nothing but vicious and venomous snakes that are constantly hissing loudly. People can see her coming from a mile away, yet usually she doesn't care much since she revels in everybody's fear of her. Even with that, she is really pretty to look at, but be careful lest you meet her petrifying gaze. She seems to have a constant malicious smile on her face and is a rather strong mage, but the fact that nobody will look at her can sometimes also send her into a temper tantrum. This also makes her susceptible to spells herself.

You are not afraid of this however, since you know that they would never hurt their owner. Each of the snakes are hissing viciously all around you and you smile at them. You even bring up your hands to caress some of the snake-heads lovingly. You are a presence to be feared now! You open your mouth in a broad smile and find yourself hissing as well again. Looking down, you notice that your tongue has grown a little longer and has split into two. You figure you must have grown a snake's tongue yourself now which only makes you smile more. Even though you mostly still look like a normal woman, you feel so much closer now to snakes and their kin. You look back up at the place where your enemy mage has been standing and you know now why they have constantly been avoiding eye-contact. One simple look at you and your enemies will petrify on the spot and leaving them vulnerable to attacks. "We'll ssssssssssee about that," you say to yourself as you start walking on your way to wreak havoc on the town.

You're sure it won't be long now...

Hoping that you won't be spotted, you continue looking as a smile forms on her face. When she opens her mouth, she seems to be hissing herself again as well. When she opens her mouth, you can see that it has split into a forked tongue like that of a snake. This makes her smile even broader. She stares back then and she narrowly missed your hiding spot with her eyes. Yes, you have created a monster now that will petrify anyone she sees into solid stone, and it is so worth it! So long as you don't fall victim yourself that is. When you hear some loud hissing again, a little closer this time, you don't hesitate and instantly high-tail it outta there. You can barely hear her say "We'll ssssssssssee about that," but you finally leave your victim, having fully transformed her at last.

Curse: Gorgon’s Gaze

A gorgon would of course not be a gorgon if her eyes did not petrify anyone foolish enough to look into them. It might just be a temporary petrification but it does leave them vulnerable.

You have oh so foolishly looked into the eyes of a gorgon and as a result, you have been petrified and cannot move at all, leaving you vulnerable to attacks. Thankfully, that is all that her gaze did to you as you can still use your magic and any item you want.

Victim
You are walking through town, minding your own business when suddenly you see the back of a stunningly beautiful woman with what looks like dreadlocks in her hair. You decide to walk up to her. Maybe she'd be up for a fun-filled night in the Treasure Chest or if not, you could always trap her into a shelly mage or something. When you get closer though, you are horrified to find out that those dreadlocks you spotted earlier aren't dreadlocks at all, but rather they are snakes that are now hissing angrily at you! This woman must be a gorgon! "What issssss it, my children?" the woman says without turning around. After a few more hisses from the snakes, she seems to start laughing. "Perfect..." she says then and turns around. Immediately you know what to do and you avert your gaze. You absolutely must not look into her eyes! The woman simply walks forward. "What'sssssss the problem, young one? Do you think of me ugly?" she says in her seductive voice, "or are you ssssssssscared?". Eventually she reaches you and you can feel her hand softly caressing one of your arms. "I don't bite.... and neither do my children... jusssssst look at me and I'll ssssssssshow you," she says. With every word, you're finding it harder and harder not to look. It's as if she's hypnotizing you. That's when you can feel her other hand slowly touch the side of your body and reaching slowly towards your crotch area. You can then hear her leaning into your ear. "All it takesssss issssss a sssssimple look, dear.... sssssso what ssssssay you," she whispers while letting her tongue tickle your ear. You can't take it anymore. Her soft caresses, her seductive and hypnotic voice, it all becomes too much for you and against your better judgement, you look up into her eyes. Immediately all of your body stops its movement and your entire body is turned to stone. The gorgon gives you a vicious smile and leans in for a soft kiss on your stone mouth. "Another fool added to my collection," she says with a chuckle.

You are standing around somewhere in town when some of your snakes suddenly start hissing angrily. "What issssss it, my children?" you ask. The snakes reply to you and tell you that there is someone standing behind you. "Perfect," you reply and turn around, only to be greeted by a young mage that instantly averts their eyes from your own. You chuckle to yourself and decide to play with them for a bit. "What'sssssss the problem, young one? Do you think of me ugly?" you say to them, "or are you ssssssssscared?" You can tell that they are already having trouble keeping you at bay. Your seductive voice has definitely gotten their attention. You walk up to them and decide to reach for one of their arms and you caress it softly. "I don't bite.... and neither do my children... jusssssst look at me and I'll ssssssssshow you," you say to them. They are really having trouble now trying not to look at you. You seem to be gaining the upper hand! You cannot resist and you decide to let your other hand slowly roam their body and letting it glide towards their crotch area. You lean into their ear then. "All it takesssss issssss a sssssimple look, dear.... sssssso what ssssssay you," you whisper while letting your tongue tickle their ear. That's when they finally can't take it anymore and they look up at last. You look directly into their eyes with a big and wicked smile and instantly, their body turns to stone, leaving them a beautiful statue.
