Their date had gone perfectly. A little slow at first, perhaps but perfect all the same. Both Stacy and Coltrane were very happy to have found each-other and after paying for their dinner, Coltrane decided to walk Stacy home. It was a warm evening but still cool. Cooler than in the restaurant so the two could finally chill off a bit.
"That food was great" Coltrane said with a grin. "Expensive... but great."
Stacy giggled. "Well, I certainly liked it."
They began chatting again about all kinds of stuff only couples could talk about. Since Stacy's home was still a fair distance ahead, the two would be able to spend a lot more time together. The extended time of their lives though was decreased with every other mile. Therefore, the two made sure not to make good progress.
"Well, this is my neighborhood" Stacy finally said.
"Guess so then" Coltrane said. Both fell silent again. Stacy fondled with her hair, blushed and looked down at the pavement while Coltrane duck his hands in his pockets and stared at a nearby lantern, also blushing a bit.
"So... thanks again for the dinner" Stacy said, looking at a pit nearby.
"No problem. Thank you for coming" Coltrane replied, fixing his gaze on a bird that happened to fly over.
"Anytime. I had a lovely time" Stacy replied. Was that an ant she saw crawling there?
"That's great to hear. It means mission accomplished" Coltrane grinned meekly. Definitely a pigeon.
"Aye aye, sir" Stacy giggled. "And... thanks for walking me home as well." Or, was it a cockroach?
"And you're welcome again" Coltrane managed to say. He then took one of his hands out of his pocket and loosened his collar a bit.
"Well... I guess I... should uh... go then" Stacy managed to say, nervously rubbing with her legs a bit.
Then, something happened that both Stacy and Coltrane somewhat expected but they were very surprised all the same. Coltrane grabbed Stacy's hand and leaned in closer on Stacy. Stacy was very shocked at first but soon decided to let that go and enjoy the kiss that soon followed. Coltrane himself couldn't believe the move he'd just made but was enjoying this as much as his partner now. They kissed for what seemed like ages but when they broke apart, they found out that they had only been kissing for a few minutes.
"W-wow" both said in unison. They still stood there, hugging each-other, foreheads pressed against each-other and eyes half-open. They then formed a smile on their faces.
Step three: romantic kiss on the corner of the street - SUCCES!!
Vanessa, along with Johnny, were waiting for her father now and, of course, he was late. She had expected this but it still was embarrassing to have to wait for him for so long. When he finally did arrive though, she was impressed that he indeed had brought Norm.
"Hello Vanessa and boyfriend of Vanessa" Doofenshmirtz said.
"He has a name you know..." Vanessa said with a glare.
"Oh right... Jerry was it?"
"Johnny..." Johnny said calmly.
"Well anyway, let's go home, Vanessa" the father said, opening one of Norm's doors.
"And he has a license this time" Norm then said.
"Norm... you should stop making fun of your creator" Heinz said with a glare.
"Right... well anyway, I need a favor dad" Vanessa said.
"Oh... and what might that be?" the doctor said.
"Well... Johnny told me that he will be moving out of town because his dad gets sent away by his boss. I wondered if you were able to..." Vanessa wanted to say.
"Destroy all of the outside world so he can't? Vanessa, I may be evil, but I'm not that evil. Besides, I want to rule like an emperor! Not destroy like a harlequin!" Heinz cut off.
"If you'd let me finish... I wondered if you were able to change his dad's boss's mind so that he won't send his dad away" Vanessa said.
"Oh... I see..." her father replied.
"I mean, you made a change-your-mind-inator once, didn't you?"
"That was the make-up-your-mind-inator Vanessa. You should learn more about your father's job."
"Well whatever. Can you do that?"
Doofenshmirtz groaned and said "fine, I will, but don't come whining if it gets foiled by Perry the platypus again."
"Step in me, children" Norm then said.
"Norm did... did you just steal one of my old lines?" Doofenshmirtz asked.
"Yes, yes I did" Norm replied.
Vanessa turned to her boyfriend. "You hear that? We'll be able to solve all of this!"
Johnny replied with a smile. "I am so glad to have you for my girlfriend, ya know."
When everybody went inside, Ferb stayed behind a bit just to give Isabella a mental boost with a thumbs up before he too left for lemonade.
Isabella smiled at him before turning to Phineas again.
"Well Izzy, what did you wanna talk about?" Phineas asked, his mind racing over the possibilities. Was she finally going to explain her behavior of that morning? Or was she going to explain why Ferb let them win? But how would she know that? No, that couldn't be it.
"W-well, uhm... today was a great day!" Isabella started.
"Yes, yes it was" Phineas said with a smile. Was that all she was going to talk about? About this being a great day? No, she could have told him that inside as well. Something was important here, yet he couldn't think of anything that would be so important.
Meanwhile Isabella was having trouble. How was she going to say this? This was going to be harder than it was for Bruce Wayne when he wanted to say that he was batman. That's when it hit her: Ginger and Baljeet! "So, how great for Ginger and Baljeet, don't you think?"
"Oh yeah! That's great news indeed!" Phineas replied. Was she going to talk about them? But they had already discussed that earlier, didn't they? Or wait, maybe she was finally going to explain to him why Ginger and Baljeet suddenly became boyfriend and girlfriend!
"Yes! I'm happy for them" Isabella said with a smile.
"So... uh yeah." Phineas chuckled. "How... come they like each-other so much?"
To Isabella, it seemed that Phineas was catching on! "Well... I can't answer you that. I'm not Ginger or Baljeet" Isabella giggled. Phineas laughed with her. "But, I can tell you that it's all about love"
"I guess so... but..." Phineas started blushing a bit and he placed an arm behind his head. "What exactly is love."
Isabella started blushing as well at this point and she looked at him with wide eyes. "Well... love is... uhm yeah... love is... it's a connection that makes two people feel very attached to the other one."
"Yeah, I know that it's a bit like magnets" Phineas replied innocently.
"Uhm... not exactly" Isabella said, looking at the ground. "It's more of... uh..."
"You don't know it either, huh?"
"I do! I just... can't explain it... it's just a feeling that you have for someone else"
"A feeling you have for someone else huh?" Phineas began thinking again. He then looked at her, smiled and said "Well... then I guess you could say that I love you."
