"Don't ever tell this to anyone, got it?" Jenny told them. Both girls swore on their hearts to be silent. "Good, then welcome to the F.B.I." Jenny said. Both girls looked at her in amazement. "No, I'm just kidding. It's just this key here but, it isn't just any key. This here is the key of a special room in my old tree-house. Of course I don't have that tree-house anymore, but the room is still hidden in the tree. Candace, do you remember about a year ago when your brothers were gone for the day to go surfing? Well, they made that for me back then. Why? I wanted some more space for a few more plants and your brothers happened to pass by my home. The plants was the original plan but... well I now keep certain stuff there. Things I've gotten over the years that are important. I don't want them to be lying around the house or anything so I place them there. Among them is a dress that I was sure to grow into one day. I got it from my grandmother. I still haven't grown into that but that's beside the point. I think it would fit you."
Stacy and Candace looked at her in bewilderment. This had come as quite a shock. Not only was the story a pretty long story, the fact that she had had it was just mind-blowing, never mind the fact that it was built by Phineas and Ferb. Candace didn't have any trouble resisting the urge of calling her mother since it wouldn't do anybody any good at this point.
"Jenny, I can't thank you enough already" Stacy said.
Sure enough, Isabella had been right. Since Baljeet didn't show any sign of becoming his old self any time soon, Ginger had had it.
"Listen here, Baljeet. I don't know what it is that's bothering you but this is not the Baljeet I've... known for a while now. Life has gotten down on you before but that never took you down, did it? What's so different here!"
Baljeet looked at her with wide eyes of shock. Of course Megan was beginning to doubt if they were ever going to have any fun again. Samantha had been right after all then? It certainly looked like it judging from this. She looked to the ground with a saddened look in her eyes.
"If he doesn't want to talk, then there's nothing we can do about that" Ferb said.
"No... she is right" Baljeet said. Ginger blushed a bit. "It... it is Mishti. She went missing."
"Mishti? Isn't that your childhood friend from India?" Milly asked.
"Yes" Baljeet replied.
Ginger broke down hearing this. All this time, he had been worried about another girl. Sure, she felt bad for Mishti being missing but that didn't take away the pain of rejection.
"So, a friend you've known for a long time when you lived in India went missing. I'm so sorry to hear that" Megan said. If he had said this earlier, things wouldn't have gotten this bad. Still, she could understand why he didn't say anything.
Katie looked at Ginger. Her spirit she just showed had been broken at hearing the revelation. Even though it was bad news for Baljeet, Ginger's reply was understandable knowing she had a crush on him.
Ferb looked at his team. Something had to happen soon or this might become a game of who can shed the most tears. "Baljeet, we're sorry to hear that" he just said.
Baljeet sighed. "I am sorry for making you all so worried over... well me being worried. I cannot take this anymore. First there is the news about Mishti, then there is my partner in mathematics, Wendy, who asks me to come for a cup of tea and now, there is Buford breaking down on me." Baljeet let out a tear. It was nothing in comparison to the inner tear of Ginger. TWO other girls. Mishti AND Wendy. Milly and Katie both looked at her filled with more worry. Megan however looked at Baljeet with worry. Ferb was in the middle of all this and for the first time, Ferb was tired of the things around him. "STOP" he shouted. Everybody looked at him in amazement. "Megan, stop worrying over Samantha and how you'll fit in with us. You'll be perfectly fine and Samantha will come later.. Baljeet, we're all really for sorry for Mishti but you can't do anything right now. Milly and Katie, stop worrying over Ginger so much and Ginger, stop your sobbing over what you have just heard"
Everybody was shocked to hear Ferb talk like this. Especially Ginger. Had Ferb known?
"Why... why is Ginger sobbing?" Baljeet asked. Ginger turned bright red and looked at him. "Because..." She started, her heart pounding and her voice filled with emotions.
"Okay you guys, after discussing things with Izzy," Phineas looked at her with a smile when he said that, "I now think that we can just continue. After all, the worst problems are on the other side, right? We can't really do anything but Ferb can!" Phineas said. Everybody agreed.
"But Phineas, how do you think are they faring?" Adyson asked.
"Well, we all know Ferb is with them" Isabella said, after which she muttered soft enough for the others to miss it "and Ginger."
"Ferb will know what to do!" Gretchen said.
"Yes, yes he will" Phineas said. "All we have to do is wait for them to be done!"
Everybody cheered and even though it was weird to have Buford cheer with them just as loud, they didn't really mind this time.
"Let's return then!" Buford said and everybody went back to the playing field.
"Wait, Phineas..." Isabella said, grabbing his hand before he could run off.
Phineas turned around to look at his neighbor. "Yes, what's up Izzy?"
Isabella waited for the others to reach the playing field and took a deep breath. This was it, this was going to be her moment of truth. She had to tell him now.
"Is everything alright Izzy?" Phineas asked, worried by the look she had. He was sure there was a bit of sadness in her eyes. Was it sadness? He didn't really know for sure but he was sure there were some emotions involved.
"Y-yes, I-I'm perfectly fine" Isabella said, stuttering a bit.
"Well you don't really look perfectly fine to me" Phineas said.
"Oh... well I'm sorry then" Isabella said, forcing a grin.
"That's more like it" Phineas laughed.
"Phineas! Could you help us with this cloning machine again? We kiiiinda don't know how it works" Adyson asked.
"Oh... sure! Let me help you guys" Phineas said. "Sorry Isabella. You can tell me later!" Phineas said.
"Yes... sure..." Isabella replied. OF COURSE he would be distracted again. If things went on like this, she wondered if there was EVER going to be a moment for her to express her feelings. Why was she able to tell him about Ginger's crush but not about her own? It was just unfair.
