"Okay Candace, you can take off your blindfold" Stacy and Jenny said. They were standing in Candace's room now. While walking towards their home, they both realized that Candace was going to be eager on busting her brothers again the moment she would see their project. In order to prevent this, they had to blindfold her and 'prepare her room' so that she wouldn't be distracted by it.
"I still think you two are overdoing it with this..." Candace said.
"Oh really? Need I remind you of the day those two build a robot rodeo? You went mad because you weren't supposed to bust them" Stacy said.
"Oh alright" Candace retorted.
"Anyway, let's start digging through these clothes" Jenny said and before you could say "hey, where's Perry" the ground was littered with clothing again. All went fine until suddenly...
"NOTHING! There's absolutely NOTHING worth wearing on this date" Stacy cried in horror.
Candace looked at the pile of clothes and had to agree with her. Jenny on the other hand was getting a little bit tired.
"You know, I think Coltrane would love the outfit you're wearing right now."
"This again? Jenny didn't we already-" Stacy wanted to say.
"No, if there's absolutely nothing you find worth wearing, then just go with what you have right now" Jenny said.
Suddenly, Candace came up with an idea. "Wait, instead of going in the clothes you're wearing now, how about wearing one of our usual clothing. You can wear my red shirt with white skirt for the date or Jenny's yellow sweater with her long skirt! That way you'd still be wearing something different."
Jenny looked at her "I don't know about that, Candace... people might think you're going out with both Coltrane and Jeremy at the same time if she wears your clothes."
"Oh okay, bad idea then" Candace sighed.
"Well, I guess there's nothing else to do but to follow Jenny's advise then..." Stacy said.
"It can't be that bad" Jenny encouraged her. Stacy tried to cheer up but found it hard to do so. Candace knew exactly what she was going through as it went just like this on her first date with Jeremy. The only difference was that back then, she had found something to wear eventually. A very cute, white top combined with a scarf, a red skirt and red socks that reached just above her ankles. It was way too small now though so Stacy would never fit in it. That's when Jenny suddenly sighed.
"You two, I think I might have an idea. I would never have brought it up because it's pretty dear to me but... since you're in such a desperate state..."
"What is it, Jenny?" Stacy said. Both she and Candace looked at her with wide eyes of amazement.
"We're going to my place" Jenny said.

Doofenshmirtz had looked all over his place to search for the photo but strangely, he couldn't find it anywhere. He was sure he placed it in the copy-inator but it had just disappeared into thin air it seemed. Not even Norm could locate it.
"I can't believe it. How could such a photo like that just disappear?!"
"Maybe it was the platypus?" Norm said. Just then, a loud noise was heard causing everybody in the room (being Norm, Doofenshmirtz and the hidden Perry) to gasp.
"Dad? Are you there?" Vanessa's voice was heard but it was magnified so much that they would even be able to hear her voice in Maple Drive.
"AAAAH, MY EARS! I should have turned down the volume again after trying to hear what they were saying in that video on the internet. That video was so soft that I had to make that sound-improvement-inator over there. I wonder why I didn't turn it off yet..."
"Probably for the same reason you never shut down the shrink-inator" Norm said.
"... Norm... go make me some coffee... NOW" Doofenshmirtz said annoyed. Just then, another "Dad?" made everybody's eardrums ring. Only then did Doofenshmirtz shut it down to sit and talk with his daughter over the computer.
"Vanessa! How great to see you again!" Doofenshmirtz said.
"Yes... we didn't see each-other for at least a week" Vanessa replied sarcastically. "Anyway, I wanted to remind you that I'm going to see Johnny tonight. You have to pick me up afterwards remember?"
"Right, right, I didn't forget that" Doofenshmirtz said.
"Oh, please don't go and embarrass me again by coming with a tricycle" Vanessa said.
"But I thought you liked tricycles" Doofenshmirtz said.
"Right, back when I just learned how to cycle perhaps..." Vanessa said.
"Oh okay then, I'll come with Norm then" Doofenshmirtz said.
Vanessa realized that this wasn't that bad. At least Norm looked a bit impressive, even though his monologues were a little cheesy. "Okay dad, I'll see you in the evening then."
"Goodbye Vanessa, see you later... good, now where is that photograph of mine" Doofenshmirtz said.

"Are... are you sure you're alright Buford?" Phineas asked.
"Yes, yes I am. Now quit worrying about me and play!" Buford said.
"Well... okay then! Let's see" Phineas said while thinking of a new move. When he had one, he said "Okay Gretchen-2, could you move over to that square over there?"
"Okay Phineas!" Gretchen said and she wanted to move. That's when Buford intervened.
"NO, don't go there, Gretchen. If you do that, Ferb will be able to take you out!"
Phineas took this into consideration and sure enough, found a way for Ferb to take her out. It was only that this wouldn't happen for at least 2 turns. Had Buford thought ahead that much? How did he know that?
"Well eh, okay then. What would you move then?" Phineas asked.
"I'd say move that me over there" Buford said.
"Buford, are you sure?" Isabella asked skeptically. She saw that if that pawn was moved, it would certainly be wiped from the playing field.
Phineas on the other hand, had spotted what Buford was playing at. Sure enough, he could see several moves that would lead to a great loss of the opposite pieces. "Don't worry Isabella. Let's trust Buford on this. It's just a game anyway" Phineas said excitedly. Isabella decided to trust Phineas on this one.
On the other side of the playing field, Baljeet was having his little breakdown. Buford had yelled at him because he didn't give him any attention. His worries for Mishti didn't go so well with his worries for Buford right now. The strange behavior of Ginger that day made it all that much worse. His feelings were so mixed up right now that his mind nearly exploded.
Megan was beginning to get a little worried. It was as if she brought bad luck with her. Especially if Samantha found out. Isabella will never get any rest again after this. She tried to focus on the game again but her mind drifted off towards several stuff.
This was a cue for Ferb to call for a time-out. Phineas agreed and soon, everybody was descending from their pieces, making the clones join again for this to not get any more complicated.

"This is not how we intended this day to go" Ferb said. Megan's eyes widened since this was the first time she had heard him speak. She could have sworn it was a British accent. "That step-brother came from really far away then" she thought to herself.
"I am sorry, okay!" Baljeet said.
Ginger gave him an annoyed look much like the look Isabella could give Phineas when he was being his oblivious self towards her. Katie and Milly felt like they were going to be caught up in the middle of something big and decided to stay silent.
"I uh... I could leave if you want me to" Megan said.
"No, we don't want you to leave" Katie said.
"Oh but you do... if Samantha finds out about this then..." Megan said.
"Oh forget about her for a change" Milly said. "We'll think of something when the game ends."
"That's great and all but first, there's something someone should be doing" Ginger said and she turned to Baljeet. "Tell us, what's wrong with you!"

"Well, this wasn't really how we had planned this day" Phineas told his teammates.
"Phineas, I already told you I'm fine" Buford said.
"Yes, we get that Buford. I know that by now. It's just the shouting we've had just now that worries me" Phineas said. The fireside girls all nodded in unison.
"We don't want any fights to happen in our projects" Phineas said.
Isabella had been really shocked ever since the shouting, much like Megan had been on the other side. After all, her rival had gone soft just now. "Phineas? Can we talk?" she said.
"Sure Isabella" Phineas said with a smile.
"Alone..." Isabella said with concern in her eyes.
"Oh, sorry" Phineas grinned. "We'll be right back then"
When Phineas and Isabella were out of earshot, Isabella cursed herself a bit. "Oh sure, you can never do this to ask him for a date but now, you can suddenly get him all for yourself..." she thought.
"So, what did you want to tell me?" Phineas said.
"Well you were the one to invite Baljeet over... I wondered if you knew anything about his state..." Isabella asked.
Phineas looked at her, retreating his smile. He nodded silently.
"Phineas... why didn't you..." Isabella wanted to say.
"Baljeet asked me not to. He told me he didn't want Buford to find out about his reasons" Phineas said.
"And those reasons are?" Isabella asked.
"I'm not even sure whether I should tell you but... well since you're you Izzy, I don't see any harm" Phineas said. Isabella's eyes widened hearing this: he really trusted her! She quickly came back to reality quickly though. Phineas then explained what had happened in India.
"So THAT's what's troubling him now... wow, no wonder he was able to stand up to Buford. He simply didn't care anymore. Poor boy" Isabella said.
"I don't really know what to do here, Isabella. I really want to help Buford out but I can't betray Baljeet either" Phineas said. For the second time this summer, the red-head looked at her with a bit of hopelessness in his eyes. It wasn't as bad as on the deserted island but it was there. Isabella knew all too well that this was what went on in Phineas's mindset.
"You really don't know how to deal with this then... Well for starters, Baljeet will probably get scolded by Ginger on the other side by now so he might come to senses soon. If he doesn't, then-" Isabella was cut off.
"Wait a minute, why Ginger?" Phineas asked. "Can't Ferb do it?"
Isabella's eyes widened in shock. What were she to do now? Phineas might find a way to her feelings for him through knowing about Ginger's secret crush, but that felt like betraying Ginger. Then it hit her that this was Phineas, her life-long crush and best friend. She could trust him for sure like he trusted her.
"Phineas... you have to promise me to not tell anybody about this. Not even Ferb... well, I guess you can tell Ferb since he doesn't talk much but apart from him, nobody!" Isabella said.
"I promise!" Phineas said.
"Ginger has... she has a crush on Baljeet" Isabella said. Tensions flooded through her body and her heart pounded. It felt as if she was telling about her own true feelings since Phineas might find a way to that through this news.
Phineas was baffled and only stared at her. Was he really blushing a bit just now or was that just Isabella's imagination? "Well, I guess that explains that then" Phineas said, forcing a grin on his face.
