"Who-ever the platypus, would you go back into the same position you were in just now so I can trap you again? If Perry the platypus isn't coming, then at least I have someone to fight against but you must be in a trap in order for everything to work of course" Doofenshmirtz said.
Perry however wasn't planning on being trapped again. He had to find his fedora. He would come back and thwart his nemesis later on in the day.
"Ok, I will just turn around again and you will have to sneak up on me again. Ok? Go!" Doofenshmirtz said, turning around to let Perry fall into the trap again.
It took a while but eventually, an alarm was heard again.
"Ok, judging by the alarm, you must be stuck again." Doofenshmirtz said and he turned around to check on the trap again but to his surprise, it was not Perry who was in it.
"My name is Norm"
"Norm I... I know that... wait where did who-ever the platypus go!"
"Probably in the same place where I left my keys."
"I won't get anything useful out of you, will I..." Doofenshmirtz sighed and prepared to get Norm out of the trap again.
Perry had left the building rather quickly. He decided to back track in order to find his fedora back. He went back to the top of the buildings to see if it was there: nothing. He went back to the same car he had hidden behind that morning. He even checked behind the mailbox near the photo-studio but there was no fedora in sight. It wasn't even down in the O.W.C.A. hideout. Perry became very sad and just sat down in his seat. Of all days, he had to lose his fedora today. Exactly 5 years after gaining it, he lost it. How could he have lost it? He pondered what had happened during the day but nothing came to mind.
"Hey, what is this platypus doing here, Carl. I thought you made sure nobody knew about these entrances except for agent P the plat- ypus... agent P!... I-is that you?... Where is your fedora?" Monogram said upon spotting Perry after he had appeared on the screen again.
Perry pulled up his shoulders with a sad look.
"Hmm, he seems to have lost it... well eh... we don't have a tracking device here on that hat but we do have this LOST poster of a fedora conveniently placed here... I wonder why we have that here" Monogram said. "Anyway, maybe you can work with this. I'll send it there right away."
Perry had an idea. He lightened up again, took the printed LOST poster and went back to his hovercraft.
"Well Megan, this is Ferb" Phineas said. Ferb just waved.
"Hey Ferb" Megan said, waving back. She thought Ferb was a bit odd. He was Phineas's brother? They didn't look like each-other at all.
"And this is-" Phineas wanted to say.
"Isabella Garcia-Shapiro! Yes I know all about her" Megan cut him off with a smile.
"Phineas, almost every fireside-girl knows me I think. Especially after being placed on the wall-of-fame." Isabella grinned. "So what group are you in?"
To this, Megan sighed and said "Group 46421" causing the other fireside girls to gasp.
"Samantha's group" Gretchen quietly said.
Isabella was especially shocked. "So what did Samantha send you here for."
"Wha- no! She didn't send me here... really she didn't. In fact, I was just going to meet her when I came here. That's not a lie, honest, this bad-at-telling-lies-patch is proof of that" Megan said, crossing her fingers.
"Uh... what are we missing here?" Phineas asked.
"Oh... sorry Phineas. Well every fireside girl is supposed to respect each-other. Even though Samantha is great at earning patches like we do, she doesn't really like us. Us as in Ferb, you and me" Isabella said.
"Hmm, that's odd, someone that doesn't like you, Isabella" Phineas said. To this, Isabella blushed a little again.
"Well, Samantha does take the liberty to scold you guys sometimes but I've never actually seen any of your projects. Well, I've heard Gitchie-Gitchie-Goo of course. And who could miss the Baljeatles playing! Oh and there was that time where that enormous bowling ball nearly rolled over me! Was that one of your projects as well? If so, then thank you for saving me... But apart from that... Well I've never actually seen your projects from up close!" Megan said.
"Well, you get to do that now then" Phineas said. "In fact, if you are still up for it, you can be the queen for Ferb."
Ferb looked at her and made a similar gesture like the one he had made to Isabella when she heard about her becoming aunt Isabella.
"Uhm... okay!" Megan said, a bit startled by this gesture.
Somewhere in the Galapagos islands, a certain lifeguard said "Okay!"
"Wait, what about Samantha, isn't she waiting for you?" Holly asked.
"Nah, she can go a day without me" Megan replied. "Besides, I'd like to actually see and participate in one of these projects for a change."
"That's the spirit!" Phineas said. "Okay Ferb, let's just make a chess-piece out of her and then, we can finally start our game of chess!" Megan was a bit startled. They were going to turn her into a chess-piece? She then realized that he must have meant making a chess-piece look-a-like.
"Right!" Isabella said, cheerfully.
Phineas and Ferb left for the garage again but Isabella was stopped by Megan. "Uhm... I don't know how to put this... but... did anything ever happen between you and Sam? She never tells us anything" she asked. Isabella had a saddened look at remembering it all again.
"Well... back when we were still lil' sparks, we were both in the same troop. Both of us were great at earning patches but she always had to get at least one patch more than me which, of course, didn't always work. I never let it bother me if she did earn a patch more but when I gained an extra patch... Then there was the big superglue incident and well, she just took every possible occasion to harass and scold me" Isabella explained.
"Well she still does that, I'm afraid... only on a longer range" Megan said. She then realized Isabella didn't need to hear that and she changed the subject. "I guess you guys are earning a whole lot of patches because of Phineas and Ferb then? No wonder Sam doesn't like them either. That will certainly be a subject of our next gathering." Again she could smack herself for bringing Sam up again.
Then Holly stepped in. "Well that's great and all but Samantha can come later. Phineas and Ferb are done."
"Already?" Megan said surprised.
"It usually takes just a morning for them to build something. They weren't done till now because you only just arrived" Milly said.
"Oh... that makes sense. Wow, they ARE fast" Megan said.
"Yes, yes they are" Gretchen said.
It had taken them a lot of effort but they had finally managed to get Candace out of the house again. Sure, she had sent a few more text messages to her mother but it was over. They were finally going to the mall.
"So Candy, I hope you're normal again" Stacy asked. "We know how important busting your brothers is for you... actually we don't really see the point... but now's the time to be preparing for a date."
"She is right Candace. It might do you some good." Jenny said.
"Oh alright then... but I've already refrained from busting them last week when they were building something for Isabella. It's really hard to have two breaks in only one week!" Candace said. "I just have to make that call."
"Yes, yes, we know" Stacy said. She and Jenny giggled a bit. "Well anyway, try to think of my addiction at the moment: clothes!"
"Right, right, you and your endless addictions" Candace said.
"And they said I'd never get anything out of this friendship with these two" Jenny thought to herself.
