Since Ferb had gotten them a second machine, things have gone a lot faster on the project and they were now almost done. Phineas couldn't contain his happiness and could not retract his smile anymore. He knew Isabella was going to love this. He grabbed the megaphone again.
"Friends, family, bullies, Irving. It looks like we're nearly done with our surprise!" Everyone was relieved to hear that. They had sat on the ground working all day to create this and hearing this came as a big reward. "I can't thank you enough for helping here" Phineas said.
"Yeah, yeah. We get the point, dinner-bell" Buford yelled at him from where he was.
"Oh we know you're grateful as well Buford." Baljeet said loud enough for only Buford to hear.
"You're lucky no-one heard that, nerd!" Buford replied. Baljeet could only smile.
"Phineas... I can't move my right arm anymore." Candace then said.
"Oh don't worry Candace, you can quit if you want. Heck, everybody can quit. Ferb and I will do the rest with the machines" Phineas said.
After he had said that, some people decided to indeed quit. Only Ferb, Jeremy, Jenny and Phineas himself of course remained.
"Jeremy, I'm surprised you can still go on like this..." "Jenny, how are you able to keep going for so long" Candace and Stacy asked their friends.
"I can handle a few things. You know that, Candace" Jeremy said and gave her a wink.
"I've made a lot of strolls through the wilderness so this isn't that bad" Jenny said with a smile.
"Ok. You can all go to the upper-level now to see it all from above!" Phineas told the rest. All of them were glad to go there except for Candace.
"I'm waiting here for Jeremy" she said.
"Eh... ok?" Phineas said.
"Still as oblivious as ever... how he manages to make this project without knowing about love is a mystery." Candace muttered to herself but just grinned and said "nothing" when Phineas asked what she said.

Doofenschmirtz hadn't been the least bit scared when Vanessa passed out. He somehow knew she must have been very tired and just carried her inside the elevator and back to his lair. He had put her on the bed there and was now working on the marble-inator-2. Perry had already left for his home. He would return later as they had agreed.
"Hmm.. ow my head... " Vanessa slowly gained consciousness again. "What happened?"
"Ah Vanessa, you're awake again at last!" Doofenschmirtz said with a smile.
"Dad what.."
"You passed out. Apparently you had been very tired when you stood before the elevator doors."
"Dad... I'm sorry for what happened earlier... I just..." Vanessa wanted to say but Doofenschmirtz cut her off.
"No, it's not your fault. It's my duty as a father to criticize every man you come home with and I guess duty got the better of me." Doofenschmirtz looked at his daughter with a smile. "So I should be the one to be saying sorry for a change."
"Dad..." Vanessa let out a tear and hugged her father.
Doofenschmirtz just hugged back. Then he said "but if I ever find out that you're marrying that boy, you're in so much trouble young lady!"
Vanessa just grinned.

Isabella and the fireside girls had done it! Their perilous journey through the desert was over and they had gotten the crystal. It had exactly 200 sides as they had counted using Gretchen's technique and they were glad it was the right one. Only that desert-crossing patch wasn't enough to make the girls happy to have made that journey. They could finally leave the desert behind.
"Well, we did it girls!" Isabella said and the others cheered in joy. "We have to get this to Phineas right away!" she said.
"Ahum..." the other girls said.
"What?" Isabella asked confused.
"Aren't you forgetting a certain patch?" Adyson said.
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry. Let's go tell Eliza first then!" Isabella said to which the other girls cheered.
Wasn't it a bit too late now? They had taken all day to get the crystal. Would Phineas still want the crystal now that it was this late? The thought hadn't crossed her mind until now. What if Phineas's project had already disappeared like it did almost every day. She knew she had to get to Phineas as soon as possible but somehow, every time she was ready to go, something came across. Pinky, the fireside girls, the wall of fame, the quest for the crystal and now this patch. Even though everything she had gained today was great and everything she's done was excellent work for the fireside girls, she had missed Phineas a lot.

"And that's why we went through the entire desert" Isabella told their founder.
Eliza had been very impressed by their story. "Wow, you don't know how long I've waited for a group to actually get this patch."
Everybody cheered again. "This is just too cool!" Katie screamed and soon, they were all awarded with the new patch which was a bit dusty from lying in the same box ever since it was invented.
"Wow, 2 hard-to-get patches in 1 day! Today has been a great day!" Holly yelled.
"I know, right? We can be proud of ourselves!" Milly said.
"That's great and all, but we still have to deliver this crystal to Phineas!" Isabella said.
"Oh that's true!" the others said.
"Oh, and for Ferb!" Isabella said.
"And for Ferb" the others said.
"And Baljeet!" Ginger said and when no-one took away her patch, she said "Well done, you all."
the others laughed.
"Well, let's go!" Isabella said.
"Uh, you all go ahead, I still have something to ask Eliza" Gretchen said.
"Ok, we'll be waiting for you at the exit of the park then." Isabella said until she noticed something shaky coming out of the bushes. "Oh, there you are Pinky" she said, grabbing the leash again she'd let go of this morning.
