Story Text:


"Come oooon!  We still have five miles left!"  Sophie cried out, her dog-like ears standing straight up while her slightly curled tail wagged about. "H-- 

How do you have even more stamina after turning female?"  Jared groaned, following behind as he followed the dog girl up the hiking trail.

"Younger, faster, stronger, better senses!"  Sophie laughed, giving her best friend a thumbs up.  "Takes a minute to get used to, though...  Swaying hips, lower center of gravity, squeaky voice, and all that."

The two of you make it to the top, taking time to stop and enjoy the view of mountains and forested land stretching into the distance.  Jared shook his head and looked at Sophie while blushing.  "Tits, new junk between your legs, and dealing with a tail can't be easy."

Sophie blushed and shifted her eyes away.  "Well, yeah...  It was weird at first-- seeing some perfect, feminine being in the mirror every morning.  Turning myself on and not knowing what to do with all the strange, new sensations," she conceded.  "Every day I feel less masculine...  My mannerisms, interests, sexuality-- everything is slipping far away from what it used to be."  With that, she sat with one of her knees pulled up, staring into the distance.

Sophie shifted and looked at Jared, her visage turning bashful.  "Another one of those changes I just spoke of. I simultaneously feel embarrassed and love it when you compliment me like that."

"Maybe you shouldn't fight these changes," Jared suggested, his heart racing.  "If certain things and feelings are enjoyable, then following your instinct could make you happier in the long run."  He didn't want to admit how hard he had fallen for his best friend.

"You think I should just follow my instincts?"  Sophie asked quietly, scooching a little closer to Jared while her tail wagged.

"I mean-- I think you'd be the happiest that way," the man replied, his eyes scanning the dog girl from top to bottom.

"If you're sure..."  Sophie closed the gap between them and pressed her lips against Jared's.  In that moment, the two embraced, accepting the other's affection.  Life could never go back to the way it was for Sophie, but that didn't mean it couldn't be even better.
