Story Text:


"Step into the spring of rebirth and meet your destiny," a feminine voice insists, coming from seemingly nowhere.

You stand nude before the softly glowing spring, the water swirling while the stars and moon shine overhead.

Submerging yourself in the spring will simultaneously cure you of all physical ailments and change you in ways unknown. To live a long life, you have decided to take that risk.

You take a slow breath and wade into the water, your body instantly tingling as the fluid envelops you entirely. "Ahhh!" You cry out, tingling all over as your chest and crotch incessantly tingle. Giving in, you close your eyes and try to stay calm.

Your chest itches and slowly expands, your pecs softening and inflating while your arms shrink and become slender. As you attempt to move your legs, they suddenly feel stuck, and you're unable to separate them. "W-- what?" You panic slightly, your voice climbing a couple of octaves as you attempt to pull your feet apart.

Instead, your legs merge at the ankle and the fusion inches upward, your lower limbs gradually becoming one while your toes dissipate. Despite the rapid transformation, you find yourself calming, a soothing voice whispering reassurances into your head.

All the while, your legs turn blue, with glistening scales quickly appearing. Fin-like webbing extends from where your feet once lay, quickly contorting into something more hydrodynamic.

"A-- ahhh..." You gasp as your facial features soften and azure hair falls past your shoulders. Glancing down, you can only stare in awe as your growing tits bounce and stand perfectly perky, the shape impeccable.

Your legs fully combine into something more akin to a fishtail that extends out past the length of your previous limbs. Instead of fear, you feel a sense of awe as you look down, completely stupefied as you take in the sight of your new, feminine form.

As the changes finalize, you move your new tail, feeling the grace and power within the new appendage. "I-- I'm..." You touch your throat and face, quickly noting how soft your features had become. "I'm a girl-- a mermaid," you stammer in disbelief.

The water beneath you glows as the feminine voice calls once more. "Swim down into the spring and you will be taken to your new home. A place you can be amongst your own kind."

You look at your tailfin and then brush your fingers through your long, azure hair. A quick glance back toward the forest is enough for you to realize that such a realm no longer suits you. You're a being of water now, and the prospect of finding a new home appeals to you greatly.

"I suppose I have much to learn," you muse before grinning and diving beneath the water, swimming downward without a need to catch your breath. Fully healthy and revitalized, you look forward to what life has in store.
