"Wow-- damn... I barely recognize you. Did the process hurt?" Your best friend Roy asks upon opening his front door.
You glance downward, inspecting your new feminine figure. Breasts tent the fabric of your top with your arms being lithe, girlish, and free of any blemishes. "Not really, to be honest. Mostly it just felt fucking weird," you sigh in response, entering Roy's apartment and sitting on his couch.
"You seem to be taking this well. Do you-- err..." Roy scratches his head and contemplates his next words. "Do you like being a girl? Does it bother you?"
"Well, I've been like this for a couple of weeks now. I was freaking out a lot at first, but, it's like-- what can you do? Ya know?" You shrug and let out a yawn while stretching. You're wearing a fairly basic set of jean shorts and a tee shirt, but both garments are well-fitted and don't go out of their way to hide your girlish figure. "Crying won't bring my dick back and having a pussy doesn't stop me from following my passions."
"I guess you have a point," Roy says as he goes to the kitchen and comes back with a couple of beers, handing you one before taking a seat.
The last weeks had been quite complicated. After a condition called 'transience' turned you into a luscious fox girl, it took a while to start adjusting to your new form. The way your hips moved and your breasts jiggled with each step made you constantly aware of your new anatomy.
Not to mention how female clothes fit so snugly and tend to hug your crotch. Over the last week, you started to feel a shift in the way you contextualize your womanhood. People started to treat you nicely and it was admittedly fun being your living dress-up doll; no one could say anything if you touched and dressed a woman who happened to be yourself.
"It's kinda fun," you say shyly, your ears tapering down as you pull your fluffy tail onto your lap. "Everyone is so nice-- they compliment me and I can wear whatever I want without anyone caring. Sure, it's weird when people hit on me and whatnot but there's something nice about being a cute girl. I mean-- it's not like I wanted to be a cute girl, but if I have to be female, I'd rather be attractive, ya know?"
"Y-- Yeah; that makes sense," Roy replies as his face turns slightly red. "You're cute as hell. To be honest, it's hard not to ask you on a date."
You blink and stare at Roy, your face turning red as your ears stand straight up. Was he serious? A warm tingle permeates your breasts and loins as you shift and try to ignore the strange sensations. "Give me a break. It doesn't matter how cute I am; I barely know how to be a woman, so I'd make an awful girlfriend," you sigh, wondering why the idea of going on a date didn't bother you.
"That's not true!" Roy quickly replies. "You're my best friend because I think you have an awesome personality. Take your personality and put it in that body and-- well..." He turns his head and lets out a sigh. "Dammit; why did I say all of that? Can we pretend I didn't say anything? I don't want to ruin our friendship," he says weakly, keeping his eyes averted.
You hesitate and consider your next words. Before you fully formulate your thoughts, you end up speaking from your heart. "If you pay my way and buy me some tasty desserts, I'll give it a shot," you reply with a weak smile, your heart racing in your chest.
Roy looks at you with wide eyes and a dumbfounded expression. "Y-- you... Really?" He shakes his head and clenches his hands over his knees. "I mean-- yeah! Of course. Tomorrow evening?? Should I pick you up, or do you want to meet me here?" He trembles as he speaks, barely believing his luck.
You blush more deeply and let out a small huff, turning your head away. "Geez. Relax; I'm still me, dude. You can pick me up at six, okay? Maybe you can convince me not to be a lesbian," You tease, giving Roy a playful shove in an attempt to create levity.
"Yes! Okay-- yeah, sounds great," Roy grins, nearly hopping in excitement.
Has Roy always been so cute? Your heart flutters and you look toward the ground. A small part of you insists you should hold onto your male pride and refuse to give into your hormonal urges. But, why? Doing so won't stop you from being a girl. Why avoid something that might lead to happiness in life? "I'll wear something cute, okay?" You say to him, flashing a cheeky wink. His crimson cheeks and inability to form a sentence are enough for you to decide you've made the right choice.
