The forecast called for clear skies, so you started your hike through the woods in high spirits. The cold, brisk winter breeze was invigorating, urging you forward. Halfway through your hike, storm clouds started rolling in.
"Snow? Really?" You sigh in annoyance. "It's time to head home." The last thing you needed was to get caught in a snowstorm so far from home.
The thick and heavy snowfall started much quicker than you were comfortable with. As you gritted your teeth and trudged onward, you heard a cry of pain in the distance. The cries tugged at your gentle heart, fueling an instinctive need to help whatever or whoever made such a noise. Despite how dangerous it was to wander off the path, the cries drew you in.
After wandering off the path for a few minutes, stumbling over roots and rocks, you found a young silvery fox caught in a trap, her leg tightly clenched in the horrid vice. You approach the fox slowly, not wishing to scare the poor creature. "I am going to help you," you whisper calmly, kneeling as the fox knowingly eyes you. After breaking the trap open, the small creature is set free. As expected, she holds a paw up, unable to put any weight on it.
The fox looks at you, pleading for help. "Alright, alright…" She was relatively small; it was easy to scoop her up, cradling her gently while being careful not to further agitate her paw. "Let's get you to the vet." It was time to leave the forest. "Where is the path?" The snowfall was thick and disorienting, a sense of panic setting in.
Trudging through the falling snow and carrying the small fox, you grow increasingly weary. Eventually, you can't go on any further; there was no doubt now that you were lost. Wincing in defeat, you sit on some brush under a thick tree with all your energy drained, still holding the fox. Was this it for you? "I am just going to rest for a couple minutes… I'm sorry, little one," you mutter to the fox. For some reason, the bitter cold no longer bothers you. Maybe that meant death was near. With a feeling of regret, you close your eyes and nod off.
The little fox looks at you with concern as the snow piles on your nearly frozen body. She musters up her energy and begins glowing with a vibrant silver light, enveloping you with the aura as it seeps into you. 'I can't let this one die... Not someone so kind.'
When you wake up from your nap, you sit up quickly, the snow piled on your body falling away. "A-Ah! I-I can't believe I fell asleep!" You girlishly cry. You blink in confusion and tilt your head. "W-- What?" You put her hand on your throat, feeling how soft and small your neck is. Whose voice was that? You begin to look over your body, breathing heavily as you notice a large set of bare tits sticking out from your chest. "Is this some… hypothermia fever dream?!" You cry out, putting your hands on your cheek as your ears stick straight up, your tail flailing about. Strange, warm sensations envelop your whole body and the snow doesn't bother you despite being completely naked.
Even stranger is the warm, sticky tingle pulsing within your newly formed vulva. your cheeks flush as you slide your fingers between your legs and press the delicate digits through the crevice of your newly formed, steamy labia. "Ahhh..." You gasp as your clit convulses, sending milky waves through your feminine frame that cause your nipples to harden.
The little fox let out a little yip, her tail swishing back and forth. She looks so happy to see you're finally awake. Her paw was completely healed.
You blush deeply and pull your hand away, making a mental note to explore your new form later. "You want to come home with me?" You scratch the friendly fox's cheek, admiring her beauty while taking in many new sensations. "How am I supposed to explain all of this?" Without this divine intervention, you knew you wouldn't have woken up. If your choices were to die or be a cute fox girl, the correct answer was obvious. Thankfully, the skies had cleared, and the sun was high, making it far easier to find your way back to the trail.
"You don't care, do you? You just want pets." The little being nuzzles you happily as you scratch her ears. You gather the fox in your arms and stand up. Taking a step, you notice how much your center of gravity has changed, your hips swaying with each step. That would certainly take some getting used to. "Let's go home," you sigh, walking off with your adorable new pet.
