Jenna trembles and loudly moans, her body creaking as her bones pop and crack.
The warm summer breeze wafts through the pasture as a female farmhand watches the writhing woman with a sympathetic gaze. "It's not all bad, I promise. Your family will be well taken care of," she assures.
"I-- I don't want this..." Jenna chokes, leaning over on her hands and knees while wearing nothing but a tee shirt and gym shorts. She received the news of her livestock syndrome a week ago, and when the symptoms ramped up a few hours prior, they brought her out to the pasture, where she has room to transform and grow.
"I know, sweetheart," the farmhand warmly replies, leaning over as she brushes Jenna's hair back. "We can't thank you enough for volunteering as a research subject. I promise you will have a full and happy life as a cow," she promised.
Jenna groans as her mouth quivers and begins to push outward. Her ears gradually slide up her head's sides while she elongates, fur sprouting on her arms and legs. Her life flashes before her eyes as she recalls growing up in the city as a girl who loved everything nerdy. She remembers dressing in an elegant red prom dress, her long blond locks cascading down her back and shoulders.
"I-- I dohnt-- wansh th-- mmmoooo..." Her words slurred as a moo escaped her increasingly snout-like mouth. Soon after, her ass plumps, and a tail sprouts from her backside with an audible 'plop!'
As Jenna's feet and ankles reshape to fit a set of cloven hooves, her hands change. She stares down in horror, tears falling as her fingers calcify and start their transformation. "Mmmoooooh!" She wails as fur spreads, her tits expanding and engorging with milk.
When she thinks the worst is coming, the transformation ceases. She pants, and trembles, a look of confusion on her face as she sits up on her hands and knees with heaving, perky tits wedged between her arms. "W-- Whash goin' on??" She wearily asked before sniffing.
The farmhand purses her lips and carefully thinks before speaking. "It seems your case of livestock syndrome won't result in a full transformation. It's known to happen. Or there may stall in this form for a while before the transformation progresses."
Jenna sits with a stupefied expression, glancing down at her hands, stuck halfway through their transformation into hooves. Instead of relief that the change halted, she feels a deep, pained sense of longing. Wouldn't it be better to finish her transformation? Wouldn't it be better to be a full cow instead of something stuck between human and bovine?
Tears fall from her face as her confusion leads to humiliation and frustration over her sudden desire for cowhood.
"I know, sweetheart. It won't be easy, but we'll be here with you every step of the way," the farmhand says warmly. She was confident Miss Jenna would ask to be milked within the next twenty-four hours. That was usually when prospective cows began to see the bright side of their new lifestyle.
