Mollusk Match: Chapter 19 (Interlude)
A large, black-furred man in a dark, finely tailored suit sat upon a dark red leather couch. Feline ears sat atop his head, which looked somewhere between human and panther. On the opposite end of the sofa sat a thin and lengthy man with grayish skin, inhumanly dark eyes, and black hair that was slicked back. He wore a deep blue striped suit with an open jacket, much like a gangster would wear.
"Is this how you decorate your home, Lucius?" The thin man dully asked, lifting a glass of scotch with his webbed fingers and downing it.
The large room was lit by a fireplace and dim, ornate lamps. Erotic art from varying cultures and of various forms hung on the walls, adorned shelves, and stood erect as statues.
Lucius playfully scoffed. "My dear Callum. If I'm going to be spending so much time away from home, of course, I'm going to want my temporary abode to be comfortable and in line with my tastes." He poured himself some whiskey of incomprehensible value and drained the glass.
Callum grabbed a cigar from a box on the end table near him and lit it with a platinum lighter embossed with an Eastern dragon. He took a drag and gradually let out a puff of smoke. "I like fucking as much as the next guy, but you take it to a new level. Do you even have any business-related reason to be here?"
Lucius scratched his chin, his ears tapering down. "Hmmmm… Define 'business related' for me, please," he coyly replied before following his guest's lead and lighting up his own cigar.
"Oh, you know." Callum continued before grabbing the whole bottle of scotch. "Anything unrelated to you gettin' your rocks off or out letting your sadistic fantasies."
"Oh!" Lucius grinned, showing off his sizable fangs. "Well, if that's the criteria, then, I guess… Maybe just a sprinkling of business."
"Figures," Callum sighed. "Not that I personally give a shit what you do to a buncha convicts, but it would be nice to talk business for once. If you get serious, we can get a lot accomplished." He briefly glanced around, acting cautious, as he leaned closer to Lucius and whispered, "Is it safe to talk here?"
"You'd be surprised who here is on my payroll," Lucius replied, crossing one leg over the other. "You don't need to worry."
"Okay, good," responded Callum as he visibly relaxed and took a swig from the bottle he still had tightly clasped. "When are we going to work together, Lucius?" Are ya gonna keep fucking around or what?"
Lucius rolled his eyes before finishing his cigar and putting it on the ashtray next to him. As much as Callum annoyed him, he couldn't deny the potential benefits of a partnership. "What would a biochemistry and pharmaceuticals magnate want with an arms manufacturer and dealer?" He innocently asked.
Callum grunted. "Don't be so damn obtuse. I'm not talking about your weapons-- but I could still think of a few reasons for our industries to align, even if that's what I meant." He ran a hand through his hair to move the few strands that came loose and fell onto his face. "You know I'm referring to your side hustle."
"I thought you didn't want me thinking about sex all the time," Lucius quipped.
"I don't want to deal with your annoying fantasies. It's different when the work you do just so happens to be related to fuckin' broads," retorted Callum.
"One moment-- I have to take this," Lucius muttered as he put a finger on the side of his head. He spoke without any visible sign of a phone or device to talk into. "She's ready? Bring her in immediately," Lucius demanded as his lips curled into a sinister smile.
Callum raised an eyebrow. "Her? Who are you bringin' in now?"
"I'll talk business with you, Callum," warmly replied Lucius as he folded his hands in his lap. "But, I'm not delaying my dessert another second. If you want to work with me, we'll have to talk to me while our lovely guest puts on a show.
Callum blankly stared at Lucius before looking forward and sinking into the couch with a frustrated sigh. "I'm not getting a choice here, am I?"
"It's now or never."
"Yeah, yeah, okay," Callum conceded before muttering under his breath. He wouldn't say it out loud, but he knew he wanted this partnership the most.
There was a sudden knock at the door, followed by Lucius yelling, "Let her in!"
As the door swung open, two guards led in a young woman wearing a simple white sundress. She was petite with pronounced hips, small breasts, and pale skin. Long, straight brown hair fell past her face and halfway down her back.
She solemnly walked, her head toward the ground as the guards led her toward the VVIPs.
"Ah, there she is," Lucius purred. "Leave her right there-- yes, fifteen feet from the couch."
Moments later, the guards left, leaving the trembling woman alone with the men-- a sheep lost in the wolves' den.
"Apologies, Callum. I need just a moment to get things started," Lucius insisted in an overly sweet tone.
"Do whatever you need to do. I'm not gonna stop you," Callum flatly replied, taking another swing of scotch.
Without wasting more time, Lucius focused on the young woman. "Raise your head. Let me see your eyes," he politely yet dangerously demanded.
The young lady clenched her fists, taking a few slow breaths before shakily raising her head. Her face had small, feminine features with pale green eyes that went up at a very slight angle. She then opened her mouth to speak. “W-- What are you g--”
"I would suggest not speaking unless I ask you a question." Lucius' intense gaze conveyed ferocity.
She immediately closed her mouth, biting her lip and shifting her eyes away.
"What lovely eyes you have. May I have your name?"
“I-- I’m… H-- Heather…” Her words were small and weak.
"Miss Heather. I have always been fond of that name. I have a very special task for you today if you want to hear it."
Callum resisted the urge to roll his eyes, instead crossing his arms with a slight sigh of exasperation.
"All you need to do is stand there. You received an injection, yes?"
Heather briefly hesitated before responding. "Yes. That's right…"
"Perfect. In that case, you'll just stand there. I might ask you the occasional question, but that's it."
Confusion spread on Heather's face. She opened her mouth to speak but caught herself, recalling what he said.
"Just one quick question before I leave you be. What did you do to get brought here?" Lucius asked with a content purr.
“I-- there was…” Heather stammered, unable to get the words out. “I committed-- a crime…” She muttered, averting her gaze to the floor.
"By the way, you will severely regret playing games and lying to me. I don't suggest doing either." Lucius was more than willing to show that he had the bark to back up his bite.
A tear streamed down Heather's cheek as she tightly closed her eyes. “M-- Murder…” She almost inaudibly whispered.
"Murder?? How exciting! Who did you kill, huh?" Lucius asked, leaning forward as he stared Heather down.
Callum just watched with a bored expression, his foot idly tapping. Of course, Lucius would waste all his goddamn time with this shit.
Heather's timid demeanor remained but shifted toward something colder as her lips contorted into an icy scowl. Anticipating that holding back info from Lucius would do no good, she continued. "I murdered my parents," she coolly muttered.
Lucius jovially laughed, slapping his knee in glee. "Slaughtering the two very people who gave you life. Love it." He lit up another cigar and took a puff. "Tell me, Miss Heather. How are you feeling right now? What do you think of the situation you're in? I'm giving you permission to speak freely."
Heather's cold gaze twisted into confusion as she looked between Callum and Lucius. "I assumed you would enact your sexual fantasies-- or punish me… I don't know."
"And why, pray tell, would I want to punish you?"
She gave a quizzical look as she shifted anxiously. "For my crimes? I-- I'm not sure."
"I think we're having a fundamental misunderstanding," Lucius plainly stated. "I'm not interested in punishing you or anyone else." He crossed his arms and licked his lips. "The fact you're a criminal simply makes it easier to use you. I'd be just as happy enjoying the company of a chaste young woman who devotes her life to saving kittens and puppies."
Heather took half a step back as she broke into a cold sweat. "What's going to happen to me?" Her words had grown shaky. It hadn't taken much for her icy exterior to crack.
"Like I said. You'll stand there and provide entertainment merely by existing." Lucius' eyes narrowed as he glared dangerously at the frightened young woman. "You are no longer allowed to speak freely, but please answer these last questions before I start talking business with my colleague here." His expression softened into something more gleeful. "Why did you kill them? How did you do it?"
Heather's breath and heart rates picked up as she averted her gaze from the vicious predator before her. She knew hesitating for too long would lead to nothing good. “They were-- ummm…” She fidgeted and crossed her arms, keeping her head turned downward. "They tried to control my life. They wouldn't let me have friends or go out-- they m-- micromanaged my life… They screamed at me."
"Did they hit you and forcefully lock you in your room? Were you sexually assaulted?" Lucius callously inquired.
There was a moment of silence. "No-- they didn't do that," she confessed.
"So they were your garden variety strict parents? How horrible for you! You have my deepest sympathies," Lucius exaggeratedly replied, feigning disgust. "How'd you do it? Bullet between the eyes? Knife to the heart? Maybe you drenched a room in gasoline and tossed a match in through the window?" His excitement grew as a low, rumbling quality accompanied his words.
Callum sighed and took another drink of scotch. "I've seen her type before. I'd bet Mom or Dad was yelling at her about something; she snapped and used whatever was readily available to enact the murders. You know, one of those straws that broke the camel's back situations or whatever."
"Oh? I wasn't expecting to hear any input from you, Callum," Lucius grinned.
"I've had enough scotch to start tolerating your bullshit, so I might as well play along for a moment."
"That's good enough for me." Lucius turned his attention back to Heather. "Is my dear acquaintance correct?
“I-- oooooh…” Heather trembled and let out a low moan.
"The show's starting. Answer me before you get distracted," Lucius demanded with a low growl.
“I-- I used… M-- My dad's… Hunting Knife… They w-- were ooooooh…” Grinding sounds filled the air as Heather's bones began to shift. "T-- Trying to stop m- me from going…"
"That's enough," Lucius waved his hand. "No more speaking from you, but I won't penalize you for making noises. There's only so much you can do." He looked toward Callum. "Looks like you win. Mommy or Daddy probably wouldn't let her go to a party or stay out past curfew, and she carved them up with Daddy's knife."
"Great. Riveting stuff, truly," Callum replied.
"Fine, fine," Lucius conceded with a roll of his eyes. "I suppose you've been patient, so let's talk business."
As the conversation started, Heather doubled over. "Urgh…" The fabric of her white tee-shirt began to stretch, her small breasts gradually inflating. Sweat dripped from every pore of her body, causing her top and sweatpants to cling to her flesh.
"Finally." Callum let out a sigh of relief. "I'll get straight to the point, then. How do you feel about all the advances in gene therapy and manipulation? How is the industry doing in your eyes?"
Lucius frowned as he raised a hand before his space to inspect. "Five seconds in, you're already luring me into a trap. I'm sure you can tell by looking at me that I'm a huge fan." He gestured to himself.
Callum smirked. "I was hoping you'd make a fool of yourself trying to play coy when you spent so much time and money making yourself into an apex predator." His visage then grew serious. "There's an industry out there for us to seize together, Lucius. Close your eyes for a moment. I will describe my vision to you, and I want you to imagine it."
As they spoke, Heather groaned and shook. Dark brown fur sprouted from her wrists and ankles while her tits and ass ballooned out of control. "W-- What's-- Aggghhh!" She wailed as the seams of her pants frayed.
Lucius intently watched Heather, admiring the boundless beauty of a terrified young maiden undergoing metamorphosis. He carefully took in the sight of her nose gradually flattening while her face slowly jutted outward.
"M-- My fasche--" Heather muttered as she probed her face with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Lucius. Stay with me for a moment and focus," Callum grunted.
Lucius furrowed his brow and let out a low growl before closing his eyes. "Hurry up and tell me." He'd have to watch a replay of Heather's transformation later. He had plenty of recording devices planted around his quarters.
"With pleasure." Callum cleared his throat. "Imagine your typical farm. Cows, pigs, horses, crops, the whole nine yards." He allowed a moment for the image to form. "Now, let's modernize this farm. Instead of cows, pigs, and horses, we have young women taking their places. Cow women, pig women, horse women. All in varying states of transformation dependant on a variety of factors."
Lucius' frustrated expression softened. "You have my interest."
"You take a visit to the milking rooms, where the sounds of women moaning fill the air. When you glance into each stall, you see milking machines hooked up to their tits and udders, draining them dry while they cum their brains out."
"Fuck, Callum. I didn't think you could be this cool," Lucius teased with a wide grin. He had briefly forgotten about the very real woman transforming and groaning mere yards from him.
Callum smirked as he reached for a new cigar. His hand stopped inches from the box, his look souring. "Don't you got anything a little stronger than tobacco?"
"Of course! I nearly forgot. Just dig around in there, and you'll find something good," he insisted with a wave.
Callum glanced up at Lucius with an eyebrow raised. "You're cramming different smokes into the same box? I know you look like an animal, but you could stand to learn some human decency."
Lucius let out an exaggerated sigh, ignoring the moans and whimpers of Heather, who now panicked more severely as brown fur crept up her arms and legs. "I prefer to keep a little bit of everything I may want during the day. It's much more convenient to do it this w--"
"Uggh-- euuuuuughh!!" Heather suddenly cried out as her ribcage cracked and grew alarmingly. Simultaneously, her mouth widened and gradually inched outward while the soft cartilage of her nose flattened. Her lower legs and feet already started to change as her toes stiffened, forcing her to her hands and knees.
"Do you mind?" Lucius dangerously spat, shifting his eyes toward the terrified young lady. "I'm having a conversation here. Keep it down." Despite his initial excitement toward the prospect of enjoying a private show, he had quickly grown enthralled by Callum's proposal. Turning toward Callum with full attention, he folded one leg over the other and clasped his hands together. "Enough idle banter. Tell me more about this plan of yours before I grow bored and shoo you away."
Callum rummaged through the box and withdrew a moss-green cigar. He leaned in and sniffed it before grinning, his sharp teeth and gold-capped canines shining in the dim light. "Yeah. Just a sec." He lit it up and took a drag.
Lucius watched Callum hold in the smoke before diverting his attention toward Heather for a few seconds of entertainment.
“W-- What-- what are… Hnnng-- uughh…” Heather whimpered and moaned, still on all-fours, as her shoes suddenly ripped off and fell to shreds. What were once feet had been replaced by a set of still-forming equine hooves.
"I won't warn you again. What did I say about you talking?" Lucius could barely make out the vague shape of feet within the dark, calcified masses quickly taking shape. With a symphony of horrific grinding sounds, her ankles and feet lost any semblance of humanity.
Callum slowly exhaled, filling the room with a fragrant, smokey haze. The smell was pungent and reeked of burning plant matter, but it wasn't recognizable to the average stoner. "Okay, okay. So. These cow women produce extremely high-quality milk all fuckin' day long. Our customers can then purchase that milk directly or visit the farm cafe for a bite and a drink."
"Cafe? Elaborate on how we're selling this milk," insisted Lucius.
"We sell it directly to clients with disposable income. We'll also show them the cow who gave them their milk when they made a purchase. Maybe a video of the milking session that produced their order, or just some pictures. Depends on how much they want to pay." Callum grew excited as he spoke. "The milk itself ain't normal. I'm not divulging all my secrets, but health benefits will far exceed getting a little extra calcium."
Lucius tapped his fingers, ignoring Heather's increasingly inhuman cries. "So, we extract milk from these women. Said milk will be some miraculous elixir, and we can peddle the product as both practical and sexual."
"That's not all," Callum continued. "Not only will this theoretical facility serve as a farm that produces the highest quality goods on the planet, but it will also double as the world's most high-end luxury brothel. Let me give you the big picture."
Lucius kept up his poker face while the tip of his tail excitedly swished and betrayed his excitement. "The big picture would be lovely."
"You're a customer who comes to our lovely little farm. You pay big money for a milk order and get to pick a wide range of additional benefits. Maybe you want to watch your girl get milked, or perhaps you want to milk her yourself. Perhaps you want to fuck her in the ass and have her suck your cock; any of this is yours for the right amount." Callum cleared his throat and sipped his drink. "Hell. You could even fuck one of 'em' while sucking the milk right out of her tits. Imagine getting sick with the flu and getting to fuck a cow girl while you drink down delicious, creamy fluid that heals you of your ailments."
"Agggh--- e--eeehawww!" Heather moaned as her mouth pushed outward at an alarming rate. Her ears relocated atop her head while her soft, feminine curves dissipated into the growing bulk of her body. Her hips and chest grew and became more rectangular while her neck and shoulders strained while realigning.
Lucius couldn't stop his lips from curling into an elated grin. "Can you do that? Make milk that cures the flu and whatnot?"
"Perhaps. You'll just have to see," Callum coyly replied. "Cows are just the tip of the iceberg. There could be bird women that lay eggs and even pig women for eating. It would be easy enough to remove a leg, or an arm or two, and then have our ladies grow the parts back."
A macabre fantasy suddenly flashed through Lucius' mind. He imagined getting to pin a curvacious, porcine woman to the ground. He would tear into her, biting down on her succulent thigh as he devoured her leg whole, her screams like music to his ears. Then, a week later, he would return to the same pig with all limbs intact and repeat the process. He could even squeeze sex in there somewhere.
"Oh! I almost forgot," Callum added. "Our family would also be a testing ground for breakthroughs in gene manipulation and all that good shit. We funnel money from the farm and brothel into more research and let patrons sponsor individual girls. We might have a sick fuck who wants his own eight-tittied centaur cow. We can certainly do our best to make it happen if they pony up the research funds and allow us to use that abomination to make more milk. The farm will always serve as a showcase where we can demo our latest advancements while drumming up interest and customer feedback."
As Callum finished his speech, Heather rapidly changed. Her head contorted, her eyes darkening as they lost the spark of humanity. Hair fell to the floor in clumps as she wailed. "Hee-awwwww!!" Rather than receding as they should, her breasts began to inflate. While her arms were covered in brown fur, her hands did not finish their transition into hooves.
"You've convinced me. Let's chat more tomorrow, shall we?" Lucius giddily cheered. "You make a damned convincing argument for yourself."
"Cheers," Callum replied with a sly smile, holding his bottle of scotch up.
"Yes. Cheers, indeed," Lucius purred before getting distracted by Heather. He scowled when he noticed she remained unfinished. Heather now mostly resembled your average donkey, with deep brown fur coating her body. A long tail with a paintbrush-like tuft frantically swayed from behind. Desperate hawing sounds bleated from her equine muzzle. However, a couple of human assets remained. A massive set of pendulous tits hung from her chest, her hands not matching the hooves adorning her lower limbs.
"Is that it? Looks like this one's a dud," Callum shrugged. "A shame for you, I suppose."
"Of course, I'd pick a defective one today," Lucius grunted, crossing his arms in frustration. "Aren't you any closer to ironing out compatibility issues like this?"
"Our success rates are trending upward," insisted Callum. "We'll just have to see how well our latest advances hold up. Everything went well after the first match, so that's a good sign."
Lucius had already grown bored with Heather. After briefly considering Callum's words, he was overcome with enthused anticipation but refused to let it show. "You're right about that.
