Belle sat in the passenger seat next to Sophia, who was driving both of them to Weeping Willow Farm.  A bright smile was plastered across Belle’s face as she remained upbeat.  After that last dream, she had complete clarity, just as Hesat promised.  She wasn’t thinking about being milked or anything else; it was quite an amazing sensation.  All she needed to do was be kind and not act selfishly.  I can do this.  I am going to turn my life around, she told herself as she turned toward Sophia.  “Hey!  I’m actually pretty excited for this.  I really need some fresh air to be honest.  Also, I’ve been slacking on working out.  Doing some work on the farm will do me some good, ya know?”

Sophia shifted her eyes toward Belle, tilting her head slightly.  “I haven’t seen you this optimistic in a while.  I’m glad you’re seeing the positives in this, Belle!”  She chimed.  This was the Belle she befriended all those years ago; maybe something in Belle changed after breaking down and sobbing a couple of days ago.  Maybe Belle was going to turn over a new leaf.  At the very least, she was hopeful.  “It can be hard work, but I’ll be with you every step of the way.  You have nothing to worry about, okay?”  She gently asked.

Belle nodded.  “Yes, of course.  I am going to follow your lead, and I refuse to let everyone down!”  She grinned, giving a thumbs up.  They would have an amazing day today; nothing would get in the way of her unyielding optimism.  “I’m going to close my eyes for a few minutes; got a bit of a headache,” Belle insisted, reaching into her purse as she took a couple of ibuprofen to curb the pain.

“No problem!”  Sophia responded, focusing on the road as she silently sang along to the J-Pop playing from the lone earbud in her left ear.

Belle reclined her seat, closing her eyes as she took a slow breath to decompress.  Having a clear mind and not having her tits leak like faucets were welcome changes.  Her proportions hadn’t changed much, however.  While she could string together a coherent thought train, her breasts were still pushing past the D cup while her ass and hips were much thicker than they were weeks ago.  All I need to do is stay focused and stay pure of heart or whatever.  I can do this, she told herself.  Despite her best effort, she couldn’t completely stave off the negativity that crept into her psyche.  Relax.  You’re going to be fine.  Nothing awful is going to happen as long as you stay positive!”  She insisted, clenching her knees as she took slow, steady breaths.  As long as she maintained control of herself, she would make it through this tumultuous time in her life.

Belle wasn’t sure if she spaced out or fell asleep, but she was promptly jolted into an alert state when the car jerked.  “O-- oh, what?”  Her eyes shot open as she sat up.

“It’s just a dirt road; we’re almost there,” Sophia gently stated, driving carefully as the terrain grew troublesome.

“Oh, I see,” Belle yawned, taking in her surroundings.  The road in front o fthem was muddy and littered with stones; it was no wonder she was knocked out of her meditative state.  Ahead of them was an open gate, followed by a farmhouse sitting in the middle of a verdant, grassy pasture.  In the distance, silos and other farm fixtures dotted the landscape.  I’m definitely going to need Sophia’s help, but I’ll do my best, she insisted, forcing herself to smile.  As her thoughts wandered, a strange, yet lovely scent wafted through the cracked windows.  The earthy scent teased her sinuses, causing a faint tingle that slowly spread through her body.  “Something smells kind of odd,” Belle commented, loosely clasping her hands together in her lap.

Sophia pursed her lips, briefly thinking.  “Hmmm…  I just smell grass to be honest!  I love it,” she said with a grin.

“Grass-- yeah, right,” Belle mumbled in response.  She recalled how the scent of grass and nature teased and tormented her during her hike with Bret.  That delectable smell destroyed any sense of reason she might have had at the time.  As the seconds passed, her heart rate gradually picked up.  She broke out into a cold sweat as she closed her eyes tight and fought off a maelstrom of awful memories.  Because of those terrible urges, she lost Bret.  The scent of grass had also tormented some of her past dreams.  Fuck-- no, what’s wrong with me? She growled, digging her fingers into her wrist as she trembled.  Hesat gave her the gift of clarity for the time being; simply smelling grass wasn’t enough to make her lose control.  She kept telling herself that, but it was hard to remove that negative association.

“Hey, are you okay?”  Sophia asked as they pulled through the gate.  “You’re looking a little pale.”

Belle opened her eyes, blinking as she took a moment to compose herself.  “Yeah!  Sorry, I was just-- well…”  She tried to think of an excuse.  “I’m fine, I promise,” she added, giving up on justifying her peculiar behavior.

Sophia just nodded, deciding not to push things.  “Well, we’re here!”  She parked and unbuckled her seatbelt before getting out of the car.

Belle let out a low groan, biting her lip as she tried to ignore the wondrous fragrance of nature all around her.  After steeling her nerves, she left the car and followed Sophia.

The two friends trekked up the small hill toward the farmhouse, the morning sun gradually rising on the horizon.  Today was going to be a long day, wasn’t it? Grace hadn’t even started yet, and already felt like she had an uphill battle against maintaining her sanity.   How could she stay focused under these circumstances?  Regardless, Hesat’s words rang through her head.  This was a second chance; if she screwed this up, she was going to devolve into an awful, ugly beast.  “I can do this…”  She said to herself, standing straight as she walked with confidence.

“Yeah!  I know you can!”  Sophia giggled in response.  She didn’t understand the full context of her friend’s words, but it didn’t matter.

When they made it to the door, Sophia knocked and waited for a response.  It took a minute to get their answer.

“I’m comin’!”  A baritone voice called, heavy footsteps approaching before the front door finally swung open.  A tall, well muscled farmer with a bald head and handlebar moustache opened the door.  His facial hair was graying and his dark brown eyes had a weathered quality to them.  “Sophia!  Good to have ya again.  We always welcome your help,” she said with warmth, giving her a smile before turning toward Belle.  He looked at her carefully, as if sizing her up.  “Ya must be Belle, then?”  He asked matter of factly.

“Yeah, that’s me.  I’m ready to put in a day of hard work!”  She cheerfully responded.  “I am ready to be a better me, and I won’t waste an opportunity to do some good,” she insisted, half trying to convince herself of her own words.

“Well, come in.  I’ve finished the morning tasks already.  We can get acquainted before we start showing you the ropes,” he gestured for them to follow, leading them down the wooden-floored hallway.

Each step creaked as Belle examined the hallway.  The whole house had an old-fashioned charm with black and white photos hanging and fixtures that looked straight out of the fifties.  Judgmental thoughts started to creep up, but Belle quickly dismissed them.  He’s working hard every day to maintain a farm.  Everyone likes different things and lives their own lifestyle.  I’m sure he’d think my life looks boring, she told herself.  Regardless of how much she actually believed that Hesat made it clear to her that she needed to re-align her thinking.  Toxicity would only lead her down the path of ruin.

They were led into a living room with a couch, a couple of old recliners, and a CRT television.  The farmer smiled, gesturing for them to sit on the couch in front of the coffee table before he sat in one of the chairs.  “You probably guessed already, but I’m Roger,” he curtly stated, holding out his hand to Belle.

Belle saw how huge his hand was.  It looked calloused and coated with dirt.  Her immediate thought was how gross it would be to touch it, which was quickly followed by an unsolicited memory of a dream she had-- or was it a fantasy?  She wasn’t sure, but she distinctly recalled the sensation of a farmer’s firm hands gripping the teats of her…  Udder?  Oh god…  She didn’t want to think about it.  Her heart rate immediately shot up.

“You’re not going to leave me hangin’, are ya?”  Roger laughed.  “It’s just grass and dirty; it’s been months since I touched a septic tank, dear.  You’ll have hands like mine by the end of the day,” he insisted.

“Oh-- no!  It’s not that,” Belle squeaked, turning bright red.  She took Roger’s hand and gave it a firm shake.  A tingle shot through her body as soon as she felt the great power within the weathered farmer’s grip.  Something about it excited her in a way she couldn’t explain.  “I was just thinking how hard you must work every day.  I hope I can develop a work ethic as good as yours.”

“Oh, really now?”  Roger laughed again.  “We’ll see.  It would take a great deal of determination, but maybe you have it in you.”

“I believe in her!”  Sophia chimed in.  “Once Belle has her feet on the ground, we won’t be able to stop her.  Isn’t that right?”

Belle nodded.  “Yeah, you get it, girl!”  She giggled, feeling the adrenaline surging through her start to recede.  Maybe everything would be okay.  She would work on the farm and stay really positive.  Soon enough, she would beat the stupid curse, and she could find a way to genuinely apologize to Bret for her behavior.  She would have her life and boyfriend back.

“Oh, Roger!  Have you gotten the new livestock yet?”  Sophia excitedly asked.

“Oh, you remembered that, huh?  Well, as a matter of fact, I have some new faces on the farm,” Roger eagerly responded.

While Sophia and Roger spoke, Belle quickly became lost in her own thoughts.  While she was sure she could get Bret and her life back, what about her career as an e-celebrity?  Her last stream went so horrendously and ended with the most humiliating moment of her life. Would it be posted online?  Was her Twitch channel going to be taken down?  What was going to happen?  Nothing disappeared on the internet, and she had been doing her very best not to mull over the ramifications of the little show she put on.  No matter which way she looked at the situation, there was no way out.  On top of that, was there truly any way out of the three hellish holes she dug herself into?  Could she get Bret back?  Could she salvage her internet career?  And, the most horrific one to consider-- could she retain her humanity?  As she ruminated on her life, her tits and crotch tingled, throbbing ever so slightly.

“Belle, drink some!”  Sophia insisted, snapping Belle out of her momentary despair by handing her a glass of iced tea.

Belle blinked.  “O-- oh, thanks…”  She weakly responded, taking the glass to drink.  How did the tea even get here?  Did someone bring it in?  She had been so lost in thought, she wasn’t remotely sure.

“When you’re done, we’ll head out and I’ll show you what I’d like you to do for the rest of the afternoon, Miss Belle,” Roger insisted, taking a big chug of iced tea.  Having another hand around the farm would surely be wonderful.

As the group walked out, Belle alternated between spacing out within her own thoughts and snapping back to reality while trying to maintain an air of false-optimism.  It was hard to focus on her surroundings when there were so many terrible events to dwell on as of recently.

She was led into a chicken coop as Roger explained how they gathered eggs.  “See here?  Take a look, Belle,” he gestured for her to come look while he went over the basics.

Belle nodded, smiling as she tried her best to take in every little detail Roger shared with him.  She listened to him explain how they fed the birds first, watching him give a demonstration. She did her best to absorb the informative diatribes the farmer spouted on about, but her constant stream of negative thoughts always threatened to barge right into her brain and ruin everything.  No, I need to stay focused.  I need to do this right, she told herself, gritting her teeth as she nodded in agreement to the instructions provided to her.

“Now that they’ve eaten and they’re in their laying spots, we can collect em’ nice and easy.  Sophia would be happy to demonstrate!”

“Of course!  Belle, make sure you’re gentle with them,” Sophia insisted as she showed her friend how to collect the eggs.

Belle’s initial thought was that the eggs were really gross.  Those just came out of chickens recently, right?  Eggs bought from a market were washed first, but these-- ugh.  It didn’t matter, though.  Regardless of whether they were icky or not, she had to do this.  With a smile and a happy voice, she thanked them for the demonstration and went to work.

Collecting the eggs honestly wasn’t awful.  Before long, all of them were properly gathered up.  “Hey!  I’m good at this,” Belle giggled, heading out with the others to bring the eggs in.

A couple of hours passed while Belle was taught to do some basic tasks on the farm.  It grew hotter and hotter as the minutes went by, but nothing seemed overwhelmingly awful.  To be honest, she was starting to think she could do all of this without a problem.  Why was I worried?  She told herself, genuinely beginning to feel more positive about the whole experience.

Belle’s negative thought train gradually shifted into one that was more positive.  She was still spacing out here and there, but the voice in her head had become more uplifting and kind.  Surely, after the next couple of days were up, Hesat would see that she was worthy of remaining human.

“Belle, are you with me there?”  Roger laughed.

Belle turned her head, faintly blushing.  “Yeah, I was just thinking ab--”  Her eyes widened in horror, realizing where she was.  She had been too busy daydreaming with her eyes toward the sky or off in the horizon to notice.

“Mmooooo!”  A massive bovine called before lowering her head to graze on the grass.

In front of Belle, multiple cows lazily grazed in the pasture, their udders swollen and jiggling beneath them as their bodies moved.

“You’re going to be learning how to feed and milk cows.  I was hoping to let you do this part solo tomorrow if you feel confident after I teach ya.  Are you ready for this?”  Roger asked with warmth in his voice.

All Belle could do was stare, completely dumbfounded.  Feed the cows?  Milk them?  She wasn’t even sure what to say or do as she opened her mouth, trying to speak while nothing came out.  That familiar sense of horror and dread welled up within her once again.  How the hell could she do this?
