Cassie let out a loud yawn, opening the front door and descending the steps. Despite the sun just barely peeking over the eastern horizon, the current warmth and humidity meant it would be a nightmare out here by noon. “Maybe we can wrap up early today,” she sighed, adjusting her overall straps as she walked toward the crops. With each step, it became increasingly apparent how miserable the day would be. If it were this hot in the morning, it would be hell in a few hours. Laura was left to do livestock duty since she seemed to enjoy it more than other tasks.
As Cassie checked the various vegetables and produce, she noted how lush and healthy everything appeared. Their crops had been struggling lately despite the efforts of the two sisters; watching the farm spring to life was equal parts exciting and puzzling. What are we doing differently now? She mused, kneeling to inspect a tomato plant. Each red fruit was plump, bright red and free of blemishes. Cassie resisted an impulse to reach out and take a bite. “I shouldn’t question you guys, should I?” She asked, brushing her fingers over the plant with a warm smile on her face. If the harvest went well this year, Cassie might implement some of her plans for improving the farm. Many modern-day amenities would make life easier for everyone as soon as they became affordable. Without wasting any more time, she got to work on her morning tasks.
A few hours later, the summer sun beat down on Cassie mercilessly from above. She wiped the sweat from her brow and continued tending the crops while lamenting the eternal drought they seemed stuck in. Despite this annoyance, her job was more manageable than normal today. The crops were all lush, green, and flourishing; it was as if someone else had come through already and completed Cassie’s chores for the day.
“How on earth is this happening?” She asked herself, reaching over toward an ear of corn. They seemed bigger than the previous day; not only that but there seemed to be more of them as well. Cassie’s heart rate picked up amidst a combination of excitement and mild concern. Even if some mysterious phenomena occurred, she couldn’t think of any plausible way for this level of growth to happen within such a short span of time. Did that even matter? Life had been excessively difficult since coming to help out on the farm; was she even in a position to question such good fortune?
While lost in her thoughts, Cassie caught a red glint from the corner of her eye; there was something on the ground. What’s this? With some trepidation, she crouched down and reached a hand into the dirt. After brushing away the soil, she made contact with something cool and slick. Is this… Her thoughts trailed as she unearthed a gleaming, crimson crystal. These again? Didn’t they get rid of all of them? Cassie frowned, sticking the shard in her front pocket before walking and keeping vigilant. It was just a hunch, but she had a strong feeling that more of these objects would be strewn about.
As if on queue, Cassie saw the familiar glint. A moment later, she saw it again-- and again. Noticing that first one set off the dominos, it was impossible to unsee the reality around her. Being a rather sharp individual, it didn’t take long for the gears to click in her head. Are these red things helping our farm? She mulled over these thoughts while verifying the state of the produce. There would be no point in trying to remove these odd pieces of debris; they already did so once, and it did no good. Even if Cassie could get rid of them, would she genuinely want to? Whether or not the red crystals were here for benevolent purposes was dubious, but it didn’t seem productive for the sisters to work themselves to death either. I guess I’m done with my chores; I’ll check on Laura. With a shrug, she pushed her worries away and moved briskly toward the pasture.
A couple of minutes later, Cassie popped her head into the stables, watching as her dear sister finished up with the cows. “Hey! How are your chores going? Do you need any help?”
Laura stood up from a crouch, wiping sweat from her brow. “Everything is going pretty easily today. The hens gave up their eggs without a single fuss, the cows are producing more milk than normal, and-- I know it’s weird, but it’s like they’ve already been cleaned and groomed. If you help me out, we can probably finish up in an hour, I think,” grinned Laura with more optimism in her voice than usual. She swayed her hips back and forth with a bit of pep in her step.
Cassie reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. “It’s only one; when was the last time we caught a break like this? I was going to ask if you wanted to stop for lunch, but I’ll just help you finish up. Then how about we go into town and get something to eat? We could do something else as well-- anything.” She didn’t care what they did; there was no way Cassie would give up an opportunity to do something fun instead of slave labor.
Laura’s eyes lit up as she hopped slightly. “Yeah! That sounds way better than what I was going to suggest. Let’s do it!” With that, the two girls moved briskly to finish up their remaining tasks.
“Well, you know Betty. She gets really upset when you don’t milk her first. I didn’t know cows could be passive-aggressive, but they have such distinct personalities,” Laura laughed from the passenger seat of her sister’s pickup truck as the two drove into town.
Cassie’s eyes shifted toward the highway exit. “We made it to Lansing! Also, I’m sure you’re right. They’re all so different, right?” She smiled warmly, noting how her sister talked about the cows more often these last few days. “You really enjoy tending to the cows, don’t you? It’s a big help; they seem to like you a lot.”
Laura’s cheeks flushed pink as she turned to look out the window. Lansing wasn’t a large city by any means, but the scattered businesses and actual signs of civilization were a nice change from the endless miles of farmland. “I mean-- well, I guess I do like helping. They just seem so happy to graze all day and get milked. It must be nice not having to worry like that, right? It might not be a bad life to have.”
Cassie didn’t read much into those words; after all, it wasn’t like she never felt envious of spoiled house cats who get to be cuddled all day. “Hmmm… It might not be an awful life, but I don’t know if I’d want to be a cow. They’re cute, but you would get stuck as such a big and, let’s face it, smelly animal.”
Laura stayed silent as she felt a twinge of anger. Smelly animal? She couldn't put her finger on why, but she felt offended by that comment.
“If you ask me, you should want the life of a spoiled house cat. You get to sleep inside; you’re a convenient size; you get lathered with attention. Also, you would be able to move around easily and would probably have higher intelligence than you would as a cow,” continued Cassie. She hadn’t read the atmosphere and had no idea Laura would be upset. For her, it was just a random hypothetical conversation.
“Hey, they’re NOT dumb. Okay?” Laura responded, raising her voice. “Of course, there’s some smell; they’re animals, it’s part of their lifestyle. But they’re brilliant-- and there’s no way being a house cat would be more fun; house cats don’t get to be milked, right??” Her voice dripped with frustration and a defensive tone.
Cassie was caught off guard by her sister’s reaction. She had no idea Laura would feel this strongly about cows and their lifestyle; something about this scenario felt off. “You’re right; I was being an asshole. Our cows are the smartest I’ve ever seen, and they seem so relaxed and peaceful. I’m sorry, okay?” Her voice was warm and apologetic; even if she didn’t fully understand what was happening, she didn’t see how snapping back would help. Also, if she knew Laura well, she would immediately feel bad at her outburst after seeing Cassie’s non-combative response.
As if on queue, Laura’s face shifted to an expression of shame. What’s wrong with me? Why did I do that? After gathering her thoughts for a moment, she responded. “I-- I’m sorry. I don’t know why I snapped. They’re just cows; it’s not even a big deal. I-- umm…” She stammered, trying to think of a reason why she would have an outburst of this kind.
“Hey, it’s okay! You’ve been tending to these animals way more than I have. We are isolated on this farm all day. These cows are our partners in making the farm profitable and prosperous; it’s only natural that you’d have a bond with them, right?” Cassie smiled at her sibling before turning her attention back to the road.
Laura knew she could count on Cass to find a way to diffuse the situation. As a consolation, she got to maintain some of her dignity. “Yeah, something like that. Even so, I’m sorry I snapped. You know how busy and how it’s been,” huffed Laura before letting out a sigh and folding her hands on her lap. “I’m starving, by the way; what were we going to eat?” She then moved a hand up and fidgeted with her bra strap beneath her shirt; it was digging more than usual today.
Cass pondered over the options. She needed something filling, tasty and cheap; that specific combination of traits left one viable option in her mind. “Jasmine Palace. We’re like, two minutes away.” With that, she turned right onto a street lined with businesses and marched onward.
Laura lit up at the mention of her favorite buffet. Jasmine Palace was a highly prestigious buffet with a respectable 4.6 on Google reviews with over one-thousand scores. They stood at the apex in the world of all-you-can-eat buffets for $12.99. “Yeah, that sounds awesome. I feel like I see the light at the end of the tunnel after that damn awful week,” sighed Laura before her mind quickly honed in on the prospect of consuming a delicious and filling meal.
The siblings arrived shortly, entering a massive buffet with a generic, albeit beautiful interior: Buddha statues, Maneki Nekos, generally Asian statues, and decor, the whole works. After getting to their table, Cassie grabbed a plate and began scavenging for her delicious dinner. While not particularly healthy, peanut butter chicken and coconut chicken were a guilty pleasure. Combined with lo mein and crab rangoons, you reached perfection on a plate.
Cassie sat down first and took a sip of her coke, waiting for her sibling’s return before starting her feast. She wouldn’t admit it aloud, but it was challenging to muster up the willpower to resist the ravenous sensation of gluttony that swelled within her. A constant, unrelenting stream of arduous farm labor changed how one perceived meal time. Food was energy; fat, calories and a wide variety of nutrients enabled them to break their backs all day on the farm.
Laura returned and plopped down a plate of food. “Sorry to keep you waiting. I promise I’ll never be offended if you start without me.”
Oh, thank god, she’s back, Cassie mused, smiling brightly. “I know, I know. But I like eating together when we can.” She then noticed something peculiar about her sister’s plate. An assortment of tasty buffet staples consumed one half while salad and vegetables took up the other. Laura’s getting salad at a buffet? Is she sick? Laura usually jumped at the chance to eat junk food. “Hey! So that you know, I promise you don’t need to worry about watching your figure while we work on the farm. It’s hard enough to make sure we get enough calories for our daily work as it is.”
Laura frowned, feeling immediately self-conscious. She looked down at her salad as a pang of hunger pulsed through her body. “Working with animals all day makes me sympathetic to their troubles. I-- I thought I would try rotating in more vegetables and stuff, so I eat less meat.” She wasn’t sure what to say; how could Laura explain that she had some odd cravings? “Besides, I’m only twenty. People go through phases and brain changes and all that crap, right?’
Cassie decided not to point out the inconsistency in her statements. If it made Laura happy, she wouldn’t make a fuss. “Hey, all the more power to you,” she said with warmth in her voice, sticking a fork in her food as she began to eat. She doubted either of them would say a word until they finished their first plates.
After a few minutes of eating, Laura felt something incredibly odd. Her mind glazed over gradually as she started to ignore the meat-filled portion of her plate and solely focus on the greenery. Every time Laura’s teeth sank into the crisp lettuce and carrots, a nagging feeling of Deja Vu intensified within her. What does this remind me of? There was a vague memory of being grassy and eating something similar. What else was there? She recalled a red sky; maybe it was during sunset? As her chewing fell into a more rhythmic, slack-jawed motion, another memory clawed its way up from her subconscious. Someone-- or something made her feel incredibly good. Feelings of ecstasy washed over Laura back then; something huge and hard penetrated deeply into her vaginal canal and pushed her straight into the most intense orgasm of her life. Was that real? Who was it?
Cassie looked up from her plate and looked at her dear sister with concern. She noted Laura’s half-closed eyes and jaw chewing in slow circles while her mouth hung wide open. Bits of vegetables fell from her mouth, sprinkling down onto her plate and the table. “Hey! Laura, you okay? You’re making a bit of a mess there.”
Laura snapped back to reality and gasped, closing her mouth as she looked down at the mess and then back at her sister. Her cheeks flushed scarlet as she averted her eyes away from Cass. “I’m sorry. I guess I’m way more tired than I thought. Why don’t we see a movie after this? Maybe something that doesn’t require a lot of brainpower, so it’s no big deal if I pass out.” She was also unsure if she could focus hard enough to maintain many more conversations.
Cassie hesitated, opening her mouth to say something. She decided against it, realizing it would lead to no good. “Yeah, that sounds good to me,” smiled Cass as she repressed her concerns.
Later in the evening, Laura retired to her room and stripped her clothes off. She let out a sigh of relief as her moistened underwear peeled away from her toned form. With the level of heat they were experiencing, it was more or less impossible to avoid being covered in a thin layer of sweat by the day’s end. After tossing her clothes into the laundry hamper, she winced as a tiny throb pulsed through her nipples. “Ouch…” Laura looked down at her breasts, wondering if they appeared a little swollen. She chalked it up to the humidity, but her bra had felt rather tight today. She walked over to her body-length mirror and inspected herself. Her breasts were supposed to be a larger B cup, but she would almost think they looked like small C cups if these same tits were on a different woman. “Is this like a second puberty thing?” Laura moved her hands up and cupped the sensitive mounds. She shivered immediately as a ripple shot down through her chest and into her pelvis, quickly saturating her nethers. Her body quivered as another flashback to that same strange arousal back at Jasmine Palace. “What-- is that?” Laura grunted in frustration, unable to determine if these memories were a dream or not.
She no longer wanted to think about this; more important things were to be done. Laura sauntered over to the bed and rolled onto her back. It was hard to say why her day had been so weird, and she couldn’t help but notice how wet and already aroused she was. “Might as well since I’m already warmed up,” muttered Laura as she gently squeezed her left tit while pinching her erect nipple. “Ahhh…” She moaned, arching her back while goosebumps spread over her body. As the pink nub received stimulation, a sympathetic surge of arousal flooded her hot, sticky vulva. She clutched the bedsheets, her petite yet calloused fingers trembling. Not noticing a tiny, creamy bead at the tip of her nipple, Laura continued to massage her breast while slipping her free hand between her legs. As she traced a fingertip down the length of her wet slit, she purred and let out lewd mews of sexual need. “Mmm, yes…”
She visualized a massive man with bulging muscles, well over six feet tall. He pulled his boxers off, revealing the biggest cock she had ever seen. “P-- Put… Put it in…” She muttered, pushing her hips down against her hand as she rubbed herself. Laura then slipped two fingers into her vaginal opening and thrust them upward. “Ooohh--” She shivered as her insides spasmed, desperately clutching the invading digits as they curled to reach her G spot. All the while, she finally moved away from her breast, using her newly freed fingers to show her clitoris some attention. As soon as the tip brushed against the swollen nerve bundle, Laura cried out loudly and felt the pleasure build immediately. After just ten seconds of vaginal and clitoral stimulation, orgasmic pleasure consumed Laura’s sensitive, hormonal body. “AHHH!” She cried out, throwing her head back as her hips ground and pushed down to meet her fingers. In her head, her well-endowed lover pinned her down in the grass and forced himself on her, not that she was unwilling. Her body language and mannerisms invited the masculine being in freely to ravage her.
“Ahhhh… Oooohh…” Her sensual moans continued as the man in her head slowly morphed. He gradually lost more of his human features without her realizing it while Laura grew hornier and hornier. “Ooo-- oooh…” She continued as her cries changed ever so slightly. “MMmm, y-- yess, harder… Mmm-- oooo….” She pushed to meet her fingers with increasing vigor, allowing orgasmic waves to consume the entirety of her being. “Mmoooooo…” She let out a low, cow-like moan, the form of a bull coming into focus in Laura’s head.
As Laura enjoyed her night of passion, Cassie passed out rather quickly after placing that red crystal she found earlier in the drawer by her bed.
She recalled laying down and feeling exhausted but otherwise wasn’t quite sure where she was right now. Cassie looked around what appeared to be the farmhouse she lived in but there was an eerie vibe permeating the air. Feeling confused, she walked to the front window and stared out at the farm. While mostly normal, the sky shined a deep red rather than the standard blue. “What the hell, why is the sky red? Why--” She paused. “Wait, it’s always been that way, right?” With a sigh, Cassie shook her head and opened the front door.
The distance looked foggy at first but quickly came into focus. A massive, red crystal structure jutted out from the middle of their crops, sticking at least a thousand feet into the air. A low hum filled the warm, summer air in a manner similar to the buzz of cicadas. “What are you?” She stared at the object in befuddlement, hesitating before walking toward it with trepidation. There was no way for her to know her life would never be the same again after meeting this mysterious being.
