heh. Sort of broke the composition rules with this one by centering the lighthouse. Rules are meant to be learned, then broken, right?<br /><br />The whole bit with the billowing cape was accidental, but I think it's kind of cool.<br /><br />This is the lighthouse at Ludington, Michigan, USA. The large body of water you see is Lake Michigan. The lighthouse is on the end of about a quarter mile of breakwater.<br /><br />There is a ferry that goes from Ludington to somewhere in Wisconsin. It makes for a nice trip across the lake, and cuts out lots of driving.<br /><br />If you look carefully at the top of the lighthouse, you'll see that the top seagull of the pecking order has the only high lookout for about half of a mile.
