# 🪄 Lori's Big Surprise

(Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love My Cute Butt)

---

I’ll be honest — if you had told me yesterday that my biggest problem this week would be whether my new pink crop top clashed with my hair ribbons, I would’ve laughed in your face.

At the time, I was just a normal dude at college. Name was Tyler. I had a chill girlfriend, Jenna, who lived across campus in the girls' dorm. The only annoying thing was that the dorms were strictly gender-specific. "For your comfort and safety," the flyers said, but everyone knew the truth: it was basically a Fort Knox of lip gloss and fairy lights.

Still, where there's love, there's a way.

Jenna and I had our system: wait until the desk monitors got bored, sneak in late, slip out early. Easy.

Rumor was, some guys who tried it weren’t so lucky. Supposedly they just... disappeared.

Got expelled, probably, I figured. Maybe they got caught with beer or weed. College kids exaggerate everything.

Yeah. About that.

---

It all started late one Friday night.

Jenna had texted me:

> "Roommate’s gone. Come over ❤️ Bring snacks and kisses."

How could I say no?

I stuffed a sleeve of Oreos in my hoodie pocket, dodged a sleepy RA, and sprinted across the quad. My heart was pounding like a middle-schooler sneaking into an R-rated movie. Total adrenaline rush.

I made it inside the girls’ dorm undetected. Upstairs, down the hall, third door on the right. Jenna yanked me in, locked the door, and... well, I’ll skip the details. Suffice it to say, the Oreos were a hit, and so was I.

We stayed up half the night, whispering, kissing, watching trashy TV. Jenna eventually dozed off on my chest, her hand tucked into the front of my hoodie like a sleepy raccoon.

I must have drifted off too.

---

I woke up to birdsong, sunshine... and boobs.

Big ones.

Perky. Heavy. Mine.

"What the hell!?" I squeaked, bolting upright in the bed — or trying to. My entire center of gravity had shifted, and my hair — my long, wavy, stupidly soft hair — flopped into my eyes.

I kicked free of the covers and stared.

Small hands. Shaved legs.

Pink toenails.

Pink. Toe. Nails.

I clapped my hands over my mouth to keep from screaming.

Jenna stirred beside me, yawning. "Mornin', Lori..."

Lori?

Who the hell is Lori?!

I scrambled up, heart pounding, and sprinted to the mirror above Jenna’s desk.

Staring back at me was... a girl.

A total cutie.

Like, Instagram-ready without even trying.

Wide hazel eyes.

Button nose.

Soft, pink lips.

I did a little spin.

Toned little waist.

Round hips.

A juicy butt that could, frankly, cause traffic accidents.

I looked like the "before" shot in a chick flick makeover montage.

"No, no, no," I muttered. "I’m not— I’m not Lori! I’m Lori, I’m... Lori... wait."

I tried again.

"I’m not a wo— I mean, I’m not a gir—no, I'm a chick... wait."

Every time I tried to say who I was, my mouth just gave more Lori info instead. It was like my brain had an auto-correct, and it was set to "Adorable Girl Mode."

This wasn’t just a prank.

This was reality.

I sat down hard on the bed.

Jenna giggled sleepily and flopped an arm around my waist.

"You’re such a spaz in the morning, Lor. C'mere."

I hesitated, but my body just... relaxed.

Like, why fight it?

Her arms felt warm and safe and perfect.

I sighed and snuggled closer without even thinking.

---

When Jenna finally got up to shower, I took the opportunity to snoop.

I needed answers. And a clue. And maybe a stiff drink.

First discovery:

There were framed photos all over the room of us — me (Lori!) and Jenna — growing up together.

Kindergarten.

Middle school.

High school prom.

It was like I’d been photoshopped into Jenna’s life. But it wasn’t fake — not even a little bit. It was real.

Second discovery:

My dresser was full of the cutest, girliest clothes imaginable.

Crop tops.

Jean shorts.

Floral dresses.

Even my underwear drawer was stuffed with lacy panties and push-up bras, every color of the rainbow.

Third discovery:

When I checked my student ID, it read:

"Lori Madison — Freshman, Undeclared Major, Girls' Dorm, Room 312."

No sign of Tyler. Anywhere.

It was like he never existed.

---

I was sitting on my bed, shellshocked, when Jenna came back wrapped in a towel.

She smiled at me, completely unbothered.

"You’re totally spaced this morning. You okay, Lor?"

"I..." I struggled. "I'm not... I'm not Lori, I'm Lor—... I'm a gir—no, I'm a chick."

Dammit.

Jenna laughed. "You’re such a weirdo. You sound hungover."

She ruffled my hair — my gorgeous, shiny, fluffy hair — and dropped the towel without a second thought.

I spun around so fast I practically helicoptered off the bed.

Was I... was I attracted to her?

Weird answer:

Sort of.

Also? Not as much as I used to be.

I didn’t want to be with Jenna.

I wanted to borrow her shoes.

---

As I tried to process my spiraling emotions, my phone buzzed.

A text from a number labeled "Head of Dorm Life."

> "Boys sneaking into the girls' dorm violates sacred rules. Violators are reformed for the good of the community. Welcome to your new beginning, Lori. ❤️"

I stared.

I blinked.

I reread it three times.

It clicked.

The woman in charge of the dorm — that tall, scary blonde woman in the severe navy pantsuits — was a witch.

An actual, no-bull, wand-waving, spell-casting, life-rewriting witch.

And this was her punishment.

Break the rules?

Become the cutest, most devoted little coed on campus.

My heart hammered wildly... but weirdly, not from panic.

Because here's the thing:

The more I sat there, soaking in my new reflection, the more it... felt right.

Like part of me had been waiting for this.

Maybe I was always supposed to be Lori.

Maybe I just needed a little magical nudge.

---

When Jenna was dressed (in a ridiculously cute denim skirt and sneakers), she turned to me, grinning.

"You excited?"

"Huh?"

She winked. "Today’s the big day! We’re setting you up with Danny!"

Danny?

As in my former roommate Danny??

TALL.

Broad shoulders.

Sweet dumb smile.

Soft hands when he thought nobody was looking.

Somehow, my heart did a backflip.

"Oh my God," I squeaked. "I'm going on a date with Danny?"

Jenna laughed and tossed me a lavender sundress. "You’ll be soooo cute. He’s been into you forever, Lor."

I hugged the sundress to my chest, giddy and terrified and blushing.

Was it crazy that I wanted this?

I mean, okay — sure, a little.

But also: my whole body was practically vibrating with excitement.

---

Later that night...

I twirled nervously in front of the mirror.

Lavender sundress: check.

Glossy pink lips: check.

Tiny heart-shaped purse: double check.

Danny was meeting me outside at seven.

We were going to get ice cream.

I felt like a princess.

When I heard the knock, my stomach did cartwheels.

I opened the door.

Danny stood there in a tight t-shirt and jeans, holding a bouquet of daisies like a rom-com dreamboat.

His jaw actually dropped a little when he saw me.

"You look... wow. You’re gorgeous, Lori."

I giggled — an honest-to-God giggle — and tucked my hair behind my ear.

"Thanks, Danny," I said, voice soft and girly and thrilled.

We held hands all the way to the ice cream parlor.

I let him pay.

I let him pick the booth.

I let him steal a little kiss after I spilled a sprinkle on my nose.

It felt natural.

It felt perfect.

It felt... like home.

---

End of the night.

We sat on my bed, his hand tracing lazy circles on my bare knee.

"You know," Danny said, grinning shyly, "I think I'm falling for you."

I smiled so wide my cheeks hurt.

"Me too."

We kissed again. Deep and slow and sweet.

It wasn’t long before we were tangled up together, laughing softly, kissing breathlessly, and... well, maybe stretching those dorm rules just a tiny bit.

I straddled his lap, giggling as he kissed down my neck, and for a moment, I had the wild thought:

If he falls asleep here...

If he stays till sunrise...

Maybe he’ll wake up as Danielle.

And our little dorm room?

Might just need to become a triple.

THE END.
