📖 The International Incident: How an Exchange Student Became a Sorority Sister

Chapter 1: The Call That Changed Everything

孙传琦—known to his frat brothers as "Chuan"—enjoyed his time as an exchange student in America. He had come all the way from China to study engineering, live in a fraternity house, and experience the “real” American college life. now 8 years ago.

It was supposed to be simple. Graduate, return home, and leverage his U.S. degree for a high-paying job. and it had worked.

But life decided to change things.

It all started one night while Chuan was back in Beijing for the summer. His phone buzzed with an incoming call from an unknown number.

That’s weird, he thought. It had an American area code.

“Hello?” he answered in Mandarin.

There was silence, then a distorted, echoing voice.

"Hello, sister."

Chuan froze. That wasn’t right.

Before he could reply, his head spun, his stomach lurched, and suddenly the world itself seemed to dissolve around him.

Chapter 2: A New Reality

Chuan woke up in a completely unfamiliar room.

Everything was different. Gone were his engineering textbooks, his laptop, his posters of Formula 1 cars. Instead, the walls were decorated in pastel tones with fairy lights. There was a vanity table covered in makeup, a Chi Mu Nu sorority banner, and an entire wardrobe filled with dresses and skirts.

A mirror stood across from the bed.

Chuan stumbled out of bed, but the moment he saw his reflection, he screamed.

A beautiful, tall girl stared back at him.

Her long legs, soft curves, and toned but slender figure looked nothing like his old self. Her brown hair cascaded in loose waves around her shoulders, her eyes were round and bright, and her lips were full and glossy.

He had become… her.

“No. No. This isn’t real,” he whispered.

Except… the memories started flooding in.

The first day of rush week. Getting her nails done with the girls. Laughing at brunch. Pulling on a tight dress before a sorority party. Dancing with other girls—feeling… drawn to them in a way that was both new and intoxicating.

She—Nina—wasn’t just in America. She was one of them.

A sophomore Health Sciences major. A sister of Chi Mu Nu. An open, out, and proud lesbian.

And worst of all?

She wasn’t in Beijing anymore.

She was back in America. This was her life now.

Chapter 3: Trying to Escape… and Failing

Panic surged through Nina as she grabbed her phone. Maybe she could call someone. Maybe she could fix this.

Her fingers flew over the screen as she tried to type a message to an old frat brother, he couldn't remember mandarin so wrote in english:

"Dude, it’s Chuan. Something happened to me."

She hit send.

But what appeared on the screen wasn’t what she typed.

"Hey babe! Wanna grab coffee later? 💖☕"

Her breath hitched.

She tried again.

"HELP ME, I’M TRAPPED."

Send.

"Omg, did you see that new fall collection? We HAVE to go shopping!!"

Her hands trembled. She couldn’t say it. She couldn’t tell anyone.

It was as if reality itself had been rewritten.

She was Nina now, and there was no escaping it.

Chapter 4: The Sorority Sister’s Life

A knock on the door.

“Nina, are you ready? We’re gonna be late for brunch!”

The voice was familiar. Too familiar.

Nina turned to the mirror one last time.

She didn’t just look like a sorority girl—she FELT like one.

Her nails were painted. Her makeup was perfect. The fitted dress hugged her curves, and the heels on her feet didn’t even feel unnatural.

I know how to walk in these, she realized with horror.

She smiled in the reflection.

Not because she wanted to.

But because some deep part of her—the part that had been rewritten—LOVED it.

“Nina, hurry up!”

She grabbed her phone, flipped her hair, and sashayed out the door.

Because she was one of the girls now.

Forever.
