(I'm thinking of doing more with this character have to decide, will see how it is received this one is a bit autobiographical)

On a frigid Christmas Eve, as the world around me shimmered with the festive spirit, I trudged through the snow-laden streets to my job as a security guard at a construction site. The city's lights glowed warmly, a stark contrast to the coldness I felt inside. I was over six feet tall and weighed more than 400 pounds, a figure that seemed to loom even larger due to the secret I harbored deep within. I was a trans woman, closeted, living in a reality where transitioning seemed a distant, unattainable dream.

Each step I took felt heavy, not just with the physical weight, but with the burden of living a life that wasn't truly mine. My job, with its long, solitary hours, was a reflection of my internal isolation. As I reached the construction site, the vast, empty structures echoed my feelings of loneliness and longing.

Settling into my routine, I patrolled the perimeter, each step a reminder of the disconnect between my physical form and my inner truth. My thoughts wandered to the life I yearned for, one where I could be free, open, and truly myself. But in a body that felt like an oversized, ill-fitting garment, these thoughts seemed more like wishful fantasies.

That's when my eyes caught a faint, twinkling light coming from an old, forgotten shed at the edge of the site. Curiosity overcame my apprehension, and I found myself drawn towards it. Inside the shed, amidst the cobwebs and dust, stood a small, ornately decorated Christmas tree. Its lights twinkled like tiny stars, casting a warm glow in the cold, dark room.

Beneath the tree lay a single, beautifully wrapped present with a tag that read, "For you." With trembling hands, I opened it to find a stunning silver pendant with a gem that sparkled with an otherworldly light. As I clasped it around my neck, a warmth unlike any I had ever felt before enveloped me.

Suddenly, the dingy shed transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland. Snowflakes danced in the air, and the trees around me glowed with an ethereal radiance. Before me stood a figure, majestic and serene, clad in robes that shimmered with the light of countless stars.

"Who are you?" I asked, my voice echoing in the magical space.

"I am a spirit of Christmas," they replied, their voice harmonious and soothing. "I bring you a gift long denied – the gift of your true self."

Tears streamed down my face as the pendant's magic began to weave its spell. I felt my body change, each cell aligning with the woman I knew I was. The transformation was gentle yet profound, reshaping my large, masculine frame into that of a petite, cute young woman. My reflection in the snow showed a face I had only seen in dreams – delicate features, soft eyes, and a joyful smile.

The spirit spoke again, "Your journey doesn't end here. You are charged with a mission, to seek out other broken souls and bring them healing, just as you have been healed. This is your purpose, your gift to the world."

As I stepped out of the transformed shed, I felt lighter, not just in body, but in spirit. The city's festive lights sparkled brighter, and the melodies of Christmas carols filled the air with hope and joy.

I walked through the streets, a new person with a new purpose. No longer was I the shadow of a person I once was, but a beacon of light, ready to bring healing to others. I chose a new name Eira, a norse name meaning snow. a fresh start with a fresh  name. The pendant around my neck was not just a symbol of my transformation, but a reminder of the mission bestowed upon me.

On that magical Christmas Eve, I was reborn. No longer confined to the closet of my fears and doubts, I was free to live as my true self and to bring light to those who still wandered in the darkness. As dawn broke on Christmas morning, I knew that my life had changed forever, and I was ready to embark on my new, extraordinary journey.
