On a peaceful Christmas Eve, as the world lay in wait,
A woman pondered her fate, feeling the hour was late.
For in her heart she knew who she was meant to be,
But trapped in a form that didn't reflect the true she.

The stockings were hung, the house silent and still,
Yet her heart ached with a deep, unfulfilled thrill.
She longed for a change, for her outside to match her soul,
To become the woman she was, to finally feel whole.

Outside, the snow fell, covering the world in white,
When suddenly, there appeared a wondrous sight.
A sleigh led by reindeer, flying swift through the night,
And in it, St. Nicholas, a beacon of festive light.

He descended the chimney with a magical air,
His presence alone, a comforting care.
He saw the woman's heart, her silent, earnest plea,
And knew just the gift to set her spirit free.

From his sack, he produced a potion, sparkling and bright,
A drink to transform her, to bring her inner self to light.
With hope in her eyes, she accepted the gift so rare,
And upon drinking it, felt change take her there.

Her body transformed, her features rearranged,
Into the woman she was, her true self no longer estranged.
St. Nicholas smiled, his mission complete,
And with a nod, he left, his exit discreet.

The woman gazed in the mirror, tears of joy in her eyes,
For the reflection staring back was no longer in disguise.
This Christmas Eve brought a gift beyond any price,
A chance to be herself, no sacrifice.

St. Nicholas flew away, his sleigh disappearing in the night,
But his voice echoed softly, a farewell of delight:
"Embrace who you are, with joy and with grace,
Merry Christmas to you, in your rightful place."
