James, Michael, and Richard, three friends filled with youthful bravado, strolled through the bustling amusement park, eyes locked onto their next conquest: picking up girls.
"Alright, gentlemen, what's our plan?" James smirked, flexing his biceps.
"Simple, we just be ourselves. How can they resist?" Richard replied, winking.
They approached a group of girls near a popcorn stand.
"Hey ladies," Michael drawled, leaning in. "How about we show you the real fun of the park?"
One girl rolled her eyes. "No thanks," she said flatly.
"Your loss!" Richard called back, trying to maintain his cool.
The friends moved on, frustration creeping in.
At the roller coaster line, they tried again.
"Excuse me, miss," James said to a girl in line. "Want to skip the queue with us?"
"Sorry, I'm good," she replied, ignoring him.
The rejections continued, each one chipping away at their confidence. They tried jokes, pickup lines, even serenading a girl near the Ferris wheel, all to no avail.
"What's going on?" Richard exclaimed. "Why's this so difficult?"
"Maybe we're trying too hard," Michael suggested.
"No, no, no," James snapped. "We're just not finding the right girls."
Their frustration turned into bitterness, and their attempts became cruder.
"Hey, sweetheart, you look lonely," Richard leered at a girl near the water ride.
"Go away," she snapped.
Their disrespect escalated as the sun began to set. Then, near a darkened corner, they stumbled across an older woman, her face wrinkled, her attire odd.
"Whoa, look at that witch-looking lady," James laughed, pointing.
"I bet she hasn't had fun in years," Michael added, smirking.
"Hey there, beautiful," Richard called to her, sarcasm dripping from his words. "Want to hang out with some real men?"
The woman's eyes narrowed, and she muttered something, her lips curling into a cold smile.
"What's the matter, too ugly to talk?" James sneered.
"Maybe she's just too wise to waste time on boys like you," the woman replied, her voice sharp.
"Boys?!" Richard scoffed. "We're more man than you've seen in ages!"
