[Cheerful orchestral music plays. A bright, bubbly female voice speaks.]

Narrator: "Hello there, kiddos! Today we're taking a whimsical journey with our friend, let's call him...Billy!"

[A slide flips to an image of a normal, slightly disheveled boy.]

Narrator: "Billy here, wants to see what it was like being a girl in the 1950's. So, let's lend him a hand, shall we?"

[Billy hesitates, then tries on a pair of oversized high heels.]

Narrator: (chuckles) "Nice try, champ! But I don't think those are your size."

[Billy topples over, then stands up and dusts himself off.]

Narrator: "Oh, Billy, you'll find that being a girl isn't just about the shoes."

[Billy then attempts to apply lipstick, making a mess.]

Narrator: (laughs) "Well, it's a start, but not quite there."

[Billy grins sheepishly.]

Narrator: "Say, Billy, have you ever visited that strange little house over there?"

[A witch's house appears in the distance.]

Narrator: "Why don't you go on over and make a new friend?"

[Billy cautiously approaches the house.]

Narrator: "That's the spirit!"

[Billy enters the house and shortly after, a loud zap sound is heard.]

Narrator: "Uh-oh, seems like our witch friend didn't appreciate the interruption."

[Billy emerges from the house, now transformed into a girl.]
Narrator: "Oh my, look at our little Billie now! Isn't she just adorable?"

[Billie looks at herself in shock, trying to come to terms with her new reality.]

Narrator: (giggling) "Now now, don't look so down, sugarplum. You're just experiencing a little bit of what we call 'the fairer sex'."

[Billie tries to play catch with the boys but her new body isn't as strong. She tries to lift heavy objects but fails, falls down a couple of times and her skirts flutter exposing her lacy petticoats.]

Narrator: "Oh dear, it seems like being a girl in the '50s isn't as easy as you thought, huh Billie?"

[Billie sits in a corner, looking a bit down.]

Narrator: (sympathetically) "Don't worry, darling. Things get better...but not for another forty years or so."

[Billie gives a frustrated sigh.]

Narrator: (cheerfully) "Now, now, don't sulk, dear. There's still so much more to explore."

[Billie tries to adjust, finding a new strength within her.]

Narrator: (mockingly) "Oh, you thought this was just a story about Billie? Tsk, tsk, tsk. You should know better by now."

[The screen starts to shimmer. Music becomes dissonant]

Narrator: (mysteriously and louder she sounds like she is right next to your ear) "Can't you feel it, dear viewer? Can't you feel that little tingle? That's right, dear, you're changing too. Just like our Billie."

[There's a pause.]

Narrator: "Do you feel that? Your 'little man' is shrinking up inside you, making room for something different. And oh, what's that? Yes, that's the silky strands of your new hair flowing down your back."

[The narrator chuckles as the screen fades to black.]

Narrator: "Sweet dreams, darlings, and welcome to the world of 'the fairer sex'. Remember, it's all in good fun. Until next time!"

[Screen fades completely to black.]

Narrator: (softly, fading out) "Oh, and don't forget to brush that new hair of yours. It'll get all knotty otherwise..."
[The End appears on the screen.]
