Arthur Kline was an esteemed sales executive, his reputation in the industry was solid as a rock, and his talent for convincing even the most reluctant buyer was legendary. Today, he was ready for another significant step in his career – a Vice President position in the Sales department of a renowned multinational corporation.

His meeting with the interviewer, Ms. Monica Flores, was scheduled at 9 AM sharp. Monica was an imposing figure, her sharp, gray eyes and stern demeanor hiding a world of corporate experience. As Arthur walked into her spacious, immaculately designed office, he felt a twinge of anxiety.

"Good morning, Mr. Kline," Monica greeted him, her voice sharp, professional.

"Good morning, Ms. Flores," he replied, his confidence quickly resurfacing.

Monica took a moment to assess him before diving straight into the heart of the matter. "Mr. Kline, we are looking for diversity in our management. The women's quota remains to be filled. So, convince me why you, a man, should be considered for this role, thus filling the women's quota."

Arthur was taken aback. This was a curveball he hadn't anticipated. Nevertheless, he gathered his wits, his seasoned salesman skills kicking in.

"Ms. Flores," he began, his tone firm yet open. "I am committed to supporting diversity in all its forms. If needed, I would be willing to embody the women's perspective. Call me Gabriella, if you will."

Monica's eyebrows shot up, but she hid her surprise well. "Interesting approach, Gabriella. Continue," she encouraged.

Arthur... or Gabriella now, decided to lean in. "If the company's policy requires it, I wouldn't mind adhering to the female dress code. I imagine myself in a stylish blusa," he said, slipping in Spanish for 'blouse', "and a chic falda de lápiz,” using the Spanish term for 'pencil skirt'. His new persona was shaping up.

As he began painting this vivid picture of himself as a woman, he felt a peculiar sensation. His voice began to soften, his clothes started feeling strangely loose, his body seemed to be shrinking. His hands, which he used to gesture as he spoke, appeared smaller, more delicate.

He continued to describe his new persona, Gabriella. A woman of petite stature, only 5 feet tall, with an aura of grace and strength. He talked about her long, wavy hair, dark as the night sky, her eyes full of life, her lips a soft shade of pink.

He felt his voice growing lighter, his accent changing, his English filling with Spanish phrases. He paused, his bewilderment palpable. His once strong jawline was now softer, more feminine, his hair cascading down to his shoulders.

But his commitment to his new identity didn't waver. "I, as Gabriella, would be an exceptional addition to the team. As a Mexican woman, I would bring cultural richness and fresh perspectives."

When he finished, he was met with silence. Monica stared at him, her eyes wide with surprise. Arthur was now Gabriella, a petite woman with dark curly hair, wide brown eyes that sparkled with a mix of fear and determination, and a strong Mexican accent. She wore a smart, elegant blouse, a chic pencil skirt, and modest heels.

After a long moment, Monica finally spoke. "Well, Gabriella," she started, an unreadable smile playing on her lips. "Your commitment and dedication are impressive. However, your work history as Gabriella is non-existent. I can offer you a role in this company. As my secretary."

Gabriella was taken aback. Her ambitions had been much higher, but the shock of her transformation left her speechless. She simply nodded, accepting the offer.

Monica rose from her chair, extending her hand. "Welcome to the team, Gabriella."

Gabriella was a picture of exotic beauty and undeniable charm, her striking features reflecting her rich Mexican heritage. Her complexion was of a soft, warm caramel hue that glowed with a healthy radiance. Framing her expressive brown eyes were thick, luscious lashes that offered a captivating contrast to her clear, bright eyes. Her full, rose-tinted lips curved gently, their natural downturn giving her a somewhat thoughtful, contemplative expression. Her dark, curly hair cascaded in untamed waves down to her waist, gleaming under the office lights, bringing an air of wild elegance to her appearance.

She was petite, barely 5 feet tall, her frame slender but exuding an aura of grace and strength that belied her size. Her posture was straight, confident, yet her movements retained a certain feminine softness. Her hands were small and delicate, but they possessed a firm grip, a testament to her tenacity and determination. She was dressed in a smart, elegant blouse that clung to her just right, accentuating her small but well-defined curves, and a chic pencil skirt that fit her narrow hips perfectly, outlining her modest yet appealing figure.

Gabriella stretched out her hand to reciprocate Monica's handshake. A chill ran down her spine as she managed to stammer out, "¿Tú... tú me cambiaste?" her voice high and girly. She took a step back, her bewilderment shining in her wide brown eyes.

Monica chuckled, her grin seeming to stretch wider across her face. "Well, Gabi, it looks like you've learned to 'appreciate the taco talk'. You used to tell me to 'lose it', remember? Unfortunately, you've lost your English instead. But don't worry, we can arrange some ESL lessons for you. Though, they'll have to come out of your secretary's paycheck."

Gabriella's heart pounded in her chest. "Pero... ¿qué está pasando? ¿Cómo es esto posible?" She pressed her small hands to her temples, trying to make sense of her surreal situation. "No puede ser... ¡Esto es un sueño!"

Monica leaned back in her chair, her satisfaction apparent as she watched Gabriella's confusion. "No, Gabi, it's not a dream. You're quite awake."

Gabriella looked down at her petite figure, her hands fluttering over the chic blouse and pencil skirt. She could hardly recognize herself. "Esto... ¡Esto no puede ser real! ¡Soy un hombre, no una mujer! ¡Y definitivamente no soy una secretaria!"

Ignoring Gabriella's frantic rambling, Monica calmly retorted, "Well, Gabi, you are a woman now. And a secretary, too. Maybe this will teach you some humility."

"No, no... ¡Esto no puede estar sucediendo!" Gabriella paced around the office, her mind a whirlwind of confusion. "¡Necesito mi antiguo trabajo! ¡Necesito mi vida!"

But Monica was unfazed. "Your old life is gone, Gabi. It's time to embrace your new one."

"¡No quiero esta vida! ¡Quiero ser Arthur de nuevo!" Gabriella almost shouted, her voice echoing in the spacious office.

Monica simply shrugged. "Well, you should have thought of that before you decided to fill the women's quota, 'Arthur'. Welcome to your new reality, Gabriella."

Gabriella's heart pounded in her chest, her face pale as she stared at her own reflection. Her body shook, the realization hitting her with full force. As she opened her mouth, the scream that filled the room was a chilling testament to the end of an unforgettable interview.
