Morgana was unlike any of her colleagues at Beaufort & Sons, a leading financial firm. Hidden behind her icy blue eyes was a secret unknown to the others: she was a witch, a real one, not the kind portrayed in children's stories. To her, corporate meetings were a tedious dance of power plays, droning voices, and pie charts. To break the monotony, she decided to turn her bored gaze to the Head of Accounts, a burly man named Thomas.

As the meeting kicked off with the usual humdrum, Morgana discreetly waved her fingers under the table, whispering an ancient spell. Her spell was subtle, working its magic slowly over the duration of the meeting.

Thomas, deep in discussion about quarterly profits, suddenly blinked, his bushy eyebrows furrowing as he felt a slight tickle in his throat. His deep baritone seemed a touch higher, causing a few puzzled glances. He cleared his throat, dismissing it as an aberration.

Next, Morgana whispered another incantation, waving her fingers slightly. Thomas felt a strange loosening around his waistline. Looking down, he noticed his normally fitted shirt was noticeably baggier. He adjusted his tie, confusion mounting but, he was a professional and continued with the meeting.

As Morgana's spells became bolder, Thomas's changes became more noticeable. His bulky arms began to slim, his hands growing softer and smaller, the hair fading away. He felt the odd sensation of his chest expanding slightly, his shirt feeling tighter in that area. His heart pounded as he tried to comprehend what was happening.

With each change, his confidence dwindled, replaced with an unknown timidity. He found himself speaking less, his voice shrinking, turning into a soft, feminine lilt. A thick lock of hair, now a dark chestnut brown, fell into his eyes and he pushed it away, his pulse quickening at the sight of his slender fingers and manicured nails.

When his pants started to loosen, dropping onto his now slim, petite hips, he finally decided he had to escape. Mumbling an excuse, he rushed out of the conference room, his stride smaller, his body feeling alien and foreign.

Sprinting out of the conference room, the newly petite figure took in gasping breaths, their chest heaving. The lights of the office hallway seemed too bright, the colors too sharp. The confusion was overwhelming. As their large, doe-like eyes welled up, the sound of heels clicking against the office floor grew closer.

Morgana, her elegant form leaned against the door frame, watched the trembling figure before her. A subtle smile played on her lips as she closed the gap between them, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. "Are you okay?" she asked, feigning concern.

The figure turned to her, eyes pleading. Their voice came out as a soft, feminine whisper. "I... I don't understand what's happening. My body... my voice... Why...?"

Morgana feigned surprise, "Why, you're the intern, aren't you?" She inched closer, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

"But... I'm..." they faltered, confusion etched onto their delicate features.

"Why don't you tell me about yourself?" Morgana interjected, a soft smile on her face.

The words seemed to spill out of the intern automatically. "I... I'm studying at the university... I'm interning here to gain some experience... I... I enjoy reading... and I have a cat named Whiskers."

Morgana nodded, her smile widening. "What a lovely introduction, dear. But I don't think I caught your name."

The intern looked taken aback, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I... I'm..." she hesitated, her eyes widening in surprise at the name that slipped from her lips. "Tessa."

Morgana chuckled, the sound echoing down the hallway. "Well, Tessa, it's a pleasure to meet you. You're doing wonderfully."

Tears welled up in Tessa's eyes, her small hands wringing together nervously. "Please, I... I don't want this. Can you... Can you change me back?"

Morgana tilted her head, her gaze never leaving Tessa. "Change you back? Why, Tessa, whatever do you mean?"

"I... I was... I wasn't like this before," Tessa stuttered, her eyes darting around in desperation. "Please, I just want to go back. Why... Why did you do this?"

Morgana sighed dramatically, crossing her arms across her chest. "Oh, sweetie," she began, her voice dripping with faux sympathy. "You weren't anything special. Just another boring man in a suit. I was simply bored."

Tessa looked horrified, her small body shaking as sobs racked through her. Morgana simply smiled, turning on her heel. "Pull yourself together, Tessa. You've got a lot of work ahead of you."

Left alone in the hallway, Tessa took deep breaths, steadying herself.

Tessa's first day as an intern was a whirlwind of tedious tasks, as mundane as they were relentless. She was sent to make coffee, to photocopy reports, to arrange files, to assist in minute ways that seemed entirely beneath the stature she was used to. Her petite body, so different from the one she had known, ached from the menial tasks and the unfamiliarity of it all.

Her body felt small and delicate, so different from the muscular build she used to possess. She was slim, with soft curves in places she had once been straight lines. Her chest, now home to two modest mounds, felt strange and alien, a constant reminder of her new reality.

Her hair, a cascade of chestnut waves, fell over her shoulders and brushed her upper back, tickling her skin in a way she was not used to. Her hands were dainty, her fingers slender and graceful, adorned with shiny pink nail polish. Her legs, once thick with muscle, were now slender and shapely, more suited to the pencil skirt she was wearing than the slacks she was accustomed to.

The world felt different, too. Her new height, significantly shorter than she was used to, changed her perspective of the world. She found herself having to look up at her colleagues, physically embodying the subservience her new position demanded.

Sounds were sharper, colors more vibrant. Her senses were heightened, from the way she smelled the cologne of her colleagues, to the way the harsh office light made her squint. She found herself taking in the textures of things she touched, the silkiness of paper, the roughness of the carpet, the smoothness of her new skin.

As the day ended and Tessa left the office, she was exhausted in ways she had never known. She felt drained, both physically and emotionally. Her old life felt like a dream, an echo from a past she could barely remember. Her reality was Tessa now, an intern at Beaufort & Sons.

Watching Tessa leave, Morgana leaned against her office door. A thoughtful expression crossed her face as she contemplated the events of the day. The transformation had been a much-needed diversion, a moment of wicked pleasure in an otherwise ordinary day.

"Why don't I do this more often?" she mused to herself. She watched as Tessa, small and unassuming, faded into the evening. With a smirk, Morgana thought, "Perhaps it's time to add a little more excitement to these mundane days."
