Raven sat in her cubicle, surrounded by pastel-colored walls adorned with various inspirational posters and 'Oh-No, I'm a Woman Now' Helpline merchandise. She was a charismatic woman in her mid-30s with jet-black hair and a pixie cut that gave her an air of being both professional and approachable. Her green eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint, as if she knew a secret that she wasn't going to share. She wore a headset over her ears, its microphone positioned just before her lips.
The phone rang and her nimble fingers pressed the answer button. "Hello, welcome to 'Oh-No, I'm a Woman Now' Helpline. This is Raven. How may I assist you today?"
A nervous voice answered, "Hello, I'm... I guess I'm Sally now. I used to be the CEO of a large company, but, um...I woke up as my secretary."
A wicked smile curved on Raven's face. "Well, isn't that a twist of fate? From the boss to the secretary, how's the view from the other side of the desk, Sally?"
Sally sighed, "It's...different. The work is hard. There's so much to do. The high heels are killing me and this skirt is...uncomfortable."
Raven chuckled lightly, "Oh, is that the dress code you had for your secretaries when you were the CEO?"
There was silence on the other end before Sally murmured, "Yes."
Raven continued, "Ah, I see. So, now the shoe is on the other foot, or should I say, the high heel is on the other foot. How's that working out for you?"
"It's... It's tough. I don't know how she did it. And the new CEO, she's... She's doing a great job."
Raven smiled, "Well, that's good to hear. Sometimes a change in perspective can make you realize how capable others are. And speaking of changes, I would recommend our 'From Power to Pleasure' program. It will help you transition from your CEO mindset to a more appropriate one for your current position. It’s great for reducing stress and encouraging a more submissive, pleasing demeanor."
"But, I don't want to be submissive," Sally retorted, but the resistance in her voice was waning.
"Well, Sally," Raven's voice took on a soothing tone, "Sometimes, we don't choose our paths, but we can choose how we walk them. Maybe this is your chance to understand a different side of life. Maybe, just maybe, you'll find something that you never knew you could enjoy. Like being a secretary, perhaps?”
After a few seconds of silence, Sally mumbled, "Maybe you're right, Raven."
Raven's satisfaction was palpable as she ended the call, feeling that she'd accomplished what she had set out to do. She leaned back in her chair, twirling a pen in her fingers. Another transformed man, finding his new place in the world, thanks to the 'Oh-No, I'm a Woman Now' Helpline. Another day, another change embraced.
