I was a 6'2'' college student, 210 pounds, muscular build from playing football. I had short, brown hair, and blue eyes.<br /><br />ATTORNEY WILSON: And now?<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: I'm a 5' tall, redhead woman, slender build, green eyes.<br /><br />ATTORNEY WILSON: Could you describe the events leading to the incident at the Casino Theater?<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: I went to watch Malcolm's magic show. He kept messing up tricks. He tried to pull a rabbit from a hat, but a skunk came out instead. He attempted the classic sawing a woman in half trick but couldn't get the box to close properly. And then the card trick... He was supposed to find my card, but it turned out to be a grocery list.<br /><br />ATTORNEY WILSON: Did you say anything to him after each of these?<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: Yes, I... I might have heckled him a bit.<br /><br />ATTORNEY WILSON: And then he invited you on stage for a trick?<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: Yes, I was put into a large box. It felt... tight, restrictive. I was restrained, and then... it got really hot. I heard Malcolm gasp, say 'oh no', and then... then the door opened and... I was a woman.<br /><br />ATTORNEY WILSON: And attempts to reverse the process?<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: (Tears up) None of them worked. None. And now I just want justice... and enough money for new clothes, setting up my life as a woman.<br /><br />(At this point, Daphne turns to Malcolm)<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: Do you have any idea what I have to deal with now? The wolf whistles, the condescension, the fear of walking alone at night, I cry at the drop of a hat, you took this all...<br /><br />JUDGE PETERSON: (Banging the gavel) Order, order!<br /><br />DAPHNE MCCORMICK: (Shouting) No! I will not be quiet! You turned my life upside down! You have to answer for it, Malcolm!<br /><br />(End Transcript)
