"fucking humidity" you curse walking back to your car. You have been traveling for a long time and you are no longer in the snowy north but you are in the sweltering heat of Georgia now. Deep south, not your favorite place. The people were ignorant and slow as far as you were concerned. They also didn't like outsiders around much either.
But that was fine by you. You had places to be and things to do. It wasn't worth wasting time on someone who couldn't see beyond their own nose. "I'm sure they'll come around," you say with a smile.
You reach into your bag to grab the bottle of water you packed and then take a sip from it. You sit the bottle down in front of yourself to rest against your legs. Then you start up the car and begin driving again.
When you arrive at the next location, you park your car in the parking lot and get out. You notice there is a group of people standing around the entrance to the hotel you booked a room at. A couple of them glance your way before going back to talking among themselves.
"Excuse me," you say to the man standing closest to you. He doesn't even look at you when he asks, "what can I help you with?"
You turn to him and ask, "are you one of the guys working here? Because this looks like a hotel. I mean assuming you can read"
The man scoffs and replies, "you're not staying here. You think you're so much better than us, huh Yankee boy? " standing up this man towers over you. Your height would normally make you feel small and insignificant. But today you have something else to worry about.
You cross your arms defiantly over your chest and reply "oh, yeah? Well what are you gonna do about it? Huh?"
He laughs and says, "I could beat the shit out of you if I wanted. But don't worry, I won't. The south protects its own, you know what I over reacted go ahead and stay, unless you want to leave ya know.... Ever...." He walks away without saying another word.
You sigh and shake your head. He's just an asshole. No point in being angry about it. You walk into the hotel and approach the desk, you check in and go to your room. After getting settled you call your boss and tell them you will be late because of traffic. You spend the night watching TV and trying to relax.
The next morning you woke up and went to carry your luggage out to your luxury sedan. You reached for your keys in your pocket only to find a worn out Ford key. Looking around you see an old beat up truck that seems familiar and wants to draw you over.As you approach the old truck, you feel a sense of familiarity wash over you. You can't quite place it, but something about the vehicle calls to you. As you open the door and peer inside, you notice that the seat is pulled way forward, as if to accommodate a much shorter driver. Despite being over six feet tall, you feel drawn to the seat and try to squeeze yourself in. To your surprise, you find that the seat adjusts perfectly to your frame, as if it were made for you all along.

As you settle into the driver's seat, you catch sight of a pair of cheap red sunglasses on the dashboard. Without thinking, you reach for them and slip them over your eyes, relishing in the way they make you feel. You run your fingers through your long blonde hair, which seems to be flowing out of your head in waves. Instinctively, you grab a hair tie and pull your hair back into a growing ponytail, admiring how it accentuates your delicate features.

As you turn the key in the ignition, a loud country song blares over the radio. You can't help but sing along, feeling the lyrics resonate deep within you. As you sing, your voice goes way higher than you ever thought possible, sending shivers down your spine. It's as if a part of you has been unlocked, and you're finally able to express yourself fully.

Suddenly, you feel a strange sensation in your legs, as if they're expanding before your very eyes. Looking down, you see your jeans tearing themselves apart, leaving just the tiniest pair of daisy dukes clinging like paint to your rapidly expanding rear. Your thighs plump up into gorgeous round perfection, and you can't help but admire how sexy you look in this new form.

You feel your whole body going soft, your cute little tummy puffing out slightly as you become more and more feminine. Your white tank top remains, but with your new voluptuous boobs, it uncovers that soft middle, exposing just the right amount of skin to make you feel irresistible.

As you look for something to occupy your hands, you find a stick of gum and begin to chew it, enjoying the sensation as it plumps up your lips and transforms your face into a cute, girly expression. You feel alive in this new body, liberated and free to express yourself in ways you never thought possible.

The truck comes to a halt in front of a sprawling farm, surrounded by lush green fields and vibrant crops. The sun is beating down on you, and you squint as you step out of the vehicle, feeling the heat radiating off the dusty ground. A woman who looks to be in her fifties comes hurrying out of the house, her eyes fixed on you. She greets you with a hearty exclamation, calling you Ruby Jean, and you can't help but feel a twinge of confusion. Who is Ruby Jean?

You try to explain that she's got the wrong person, but the words won't come out. Instead, you hear yourself speaking in a thick southern drawl, telling her that you just went to town for some smokes. The woman rolls her eyes but seems to accept your excuse, scolding you for being gone so long. You can't help but wonder who this woman is to you. Is she your mother? Aunt? Grandma?

As you stand there, trying to figure out your place in this strange scene, the woman suddenly threatens to put you over her knee. You laugh nervously, not sure how to respond. But before you can say anything, she pats your cheek affectionately and tells you that you're a good girl. You feel a rush of relief, grateful that she seems to like you.

But then she mentions something about a wedding, and your heart drops. Wedding? What wedding? You stumble over your words, unable to form a coherent sentence. That's when you feel a hand on your shoulder, and you turn to see the man from the hotel standing behind you. You recognize him, but you can't remember his name. Before you can say anything, he leans in and kisses you passionately, his lips soft and warm against yours. You feel yourself melting into his embrace, and you can't help but wonder if this is what you really want.

He whispers something in your ear, and you shudder. He's right. You don't want to leave. You want to stay here, in this idyllic countryside, with this man and this woman who seem to care for you. You want to be a part of this world, to embrace the simple joys of life and the pleasures of the earth. You know that you're meant to be a farmer's wife, a southern belle, a full-blown country mama. And even though the thought scares you, you can't deny that it also fills you with a sense of contentment and peace.
