There was a sign! Well, there was supposed to be a sign. OK look the sign was placed up about a month ago, there is no way the resort could have realized that during the last wind storm it became completely unreadable. At least that is what they probably would claim if this ever went to a court, but, of course, it would never go to court it was too weird.

You, of course, knew none of this. You simply were a college student on spring break. You had been looking forward to spring break for weeks now. You and your frat brothers Rodd and Todd were roommates and had been collectively known as the flandereses after the nerd TV characters and of course big Kegger Mitch. You had all crammed into your old Toyota and drove the 2000 miles to New Orleans. You were going hard on the Big Easy. Beyond the mass of humanity, your car had been filled with 4 small suitcases, as well as large amounts of weed and beer.

Honestly, the drive sucked. You hated being the designated driver, I mean, just because it was your car you had to do all the driving while 3 loud frat boys got stoned and drunk. It was a close call in Arkansas, the state trooper had looked over your car a good long time before letting you off with a warning for littering. One of the Flandereses had thrown a beer can out the window. You were anxious to get some rest, everyone else was ready to party. You carried all the items into the suite and the 3 others were already at the resort bar.

You laid on the bed, it really was starting to irritate you. You weren't their parent. Why did they just expect that you were going to just take care of everything for them? Riddick makes the plans, oh don't worry Riddick will do the driving. Whatever, it was a break might as well enjoy it. You decided if those assholes were going to be out at the bar, you were going to go for a swim. You saw there was an overgrown pool not too far from the room. The water looked super cool and inviting, even if there was some overgrown grass around the outside fencing.

Digging through your suitcase you eventually found your black and white swim trunks. You grabbed your phone, the room key, and sunglasses and found your way to the pool. The water was pristine, the lounge chairs looked brand new. The surrounding gate looked chipped and a little rusted, and like you had noticed on the way over to your suite tufts of grass breaking through the concrete.

Without thinking you ran and jumped in. The shock of how cold the water has blasted the air out of you but it was so refreshing. You decided to just float for a bit. You weren't sure how much time had passed, could have been 2 minutes or even 30 when you heard the voice. “It feels good right” The voice was deep and booming. You got startled and spun around.

Standing over the edge of the pool looking in with a smile was a man, he was probably in his mid-thirties with some light speckling of grey in it. He had a close-cropped beard of dark brown almost black. He had piercing blue eyes, which was weird, that you would notice a guy's eyes. You felt strange almost naked under his gaze but you swam over to the side of the pool and hopped up on the edge of the pool.

You smiled, why did you smile at him? You thought he did seem nice after all. You noticed there was a drink on the edge of the pool, was it his, no it looked fruity and girly, definitely the kind of drink you liked. He probably drank beer or scotch or something manly like that. You reached over and picked up the drink, The fruity beverage tasted great with just the tiniest bit of alcohol burn.

You brushed a stray hair out of your eyes. You had a moment of surprise, your cropped hair never had gone in front of your eyes before. Then again you'd worn your hair at this length at least the last 10 years. You looked up at this handsome mid-aged mad. You found your eyes wandering to his chest. Muscled and tan, in fact in great shape. His presence had gone from intimidating to comforting. He was less feeling like a rival and more as a friend.

“Yeah, nothing like a quick hop in the pool to calm the nerves after a long trip,” You said smiling, with a quick giggle. You just flirted! Why had you flirted with a guy? Why shouldn't you flirt with a guy? Was there something wrong with it? Sure you had a bit of a reputation as being a bit a gentlemen's guy, picking up guys all the time, but you were young and needed to see what was out there.

“And this is quite the spot,” He said sitting down next to you. You looked down to make sure everything was in place, yep your top was still tied up, your brand new swimsuit looked super hot which was why you bought it. You had gotten that big bonus check and had splurged on this designer swimsuit. Damn, it was your vacation and you were going to look good. It didn't matter it looked so girly you looked hot in it.

You bit your lip nervously and looked him over as he sat down. He was so much older than you would he be interested In a guy that barely finished college. You looked down at your manicured nails. You had painted them a fresh coat of pink the day before leaving home. It was amazing with all the packing you had time. Thank god for your niece Michelle, she was a godsend. She was so good with the girls, and Rhonda and Tonya loved their big cousin. She was off with them now, giving you a break.

You shook your head wait, no that didn't make sense, you weren't some single moth-fath- parent. You were here it was a spring break-family vacation. You looked again at the man seated next to you, when had he gotten so tall. You thought he was shorter, but he would have had to be tiny to be close to your 5' height. You rubbed your face so confused. What was going on?

“did you know this pool was filled with the water from a nearby spring? Legend said the water from the Fairie marsh fed into it, and bathing in it would release your true form. You thought of yourself as the group mom and so the water made you into it. I on the other hand was regretting the family I never had” Leonard was saying. LEONARD! OF course Lenny, how could you forget your husband? You laid your head on his chest.

“Hun I don't understand, we've been together for 8 years now, 4 years now since the twins were born.” You said, unconsciously rubbing your breasts that now filled out your swimsuit, as the memory of breastfeeding small infant girls came to you. “How can it grant dreams that already exist?” You said.

“Riley, I don't know,” He said leaning in kissing you. A wedding band appeared on your hand, and you felt yourself get turned on. This man was your everything, he supported you through medical school, even when you got pregnant during your internship, he still helped, he delayed promotions to help you. Now in your 30's, you had a successful pediatric practice and he was EVP to a Fortune 500 company. You had your twin girls aged 4, being watched by their teenage cousin. Right on cue, the three appeared. The girls ran to their daddy. Maybe Len was right this vacation was magical. You smiled, wait till tonight after you told him the news. You rubbed your stomach and took a sip of your now virgin non0alcoholic drink.
