David couldn't possibly know what happened at the fraternity after all he had graduated from college. In fact he had graduated with a 4.0 average and was now starting his career as a financial manager. In his first 6 months he had correctly predicted 3 major stock jumps and had already seen his personal wealth increase by 10 fold.
He already had a penthouse apartment in the heart of New York and a beautiful girlfriend. She was a stripper but hey, he was the one she went home with every night. His life was an unblemished diamond and he was only twenty-fucking-two.
He came home that night dealing with some migraines. Almost like his eyes weren't focusing right maybe like they were changing shapes. It didn't matter he would go home make some Paloo like he used to get in Shopokov. He missed his family there but some day maybe.......
He shook his head no he was an American, a Mericam.....a Maricam...a Mariyam....Mariyam he was Mariyam. Mariyam Aliyah the youngest daughter in his family and the first to go to school in America. He had to leave his home country as a girl he wasn't going to be able to get an education.
He felt his body shrinking down, his tall 6'2” fame being crushed into a smaller shape. His brown hair going almost to a pure black as the silky smooth hair pooled around his shoulders. He felt even smaller as his side pushed and forced the fat in his gut, what little there was into his chest. It felt like a stab in the balls as his well now her groin forced open into a functional uterus.
She eventually stood up now only 5'1” and dressed in a beautiful tan gown she brought with her from her home in the Kyrgyzstan mountains. She gained a new skill as she now spoke fluent Kyrgyz. Her English though now was heavily accented. She remembered he college experience very differently, she studied math and chemistry wanting to go into pharmaceutical research so she could improve the lives of her former country. She needed to tell someone what happened but when she tried to type or talk about her past life it was like the words got stuck in her throat or she could remember what she wanted to say.
There was an email from Tori, her old Sorority president, she was talking about a curse and that any and all alumni were welcome to come visit for an open house at homecoming in a month. Mariyam checked her schedule, she needed to go maybe she could find a way back to her old life.
So one new Alumni maybe more? We'll see
