For not the first time and certainly not the last time, Rosa Joanna Farrel, queen to the throne of Baron with her first rightful heir growing healthily in her womb, frowned as she examined herself in the mirror wearing little more than her royal underwear, turning to face herself from the front, the sides, and most shamefully of all the back. The front was perhaps her most flattering angle, she decided. Her belly, having just entered the third trimester with no complications to speak of, was proudly round, and she gave off a sense of maternal warmth, perhaps helped along by the other changes to her body along the way. Her hips were quite broad, very broad, but her large belly distracted one from the fact that she had perhaps put on a bit of maternity weight.

Her breasts had grown, as expected of a mother expected to provide milk to her newborn baby, but perhaps a little too much. She’d always had a fairly generous bust, but these had already almost doubled in size since that fateful night with her beloved husband Cecil. Turning to see them from the side put them in perspective, and she blushed as she thought about how her husband’s large, manly hands cupped them and played with them the previous night. From the side they were quite impressive, sagging enough to almost rest upon her sloped belly. From the side, you also couldn’t tell just how wide her hips were, although it invited the question of just why her royal derriere was sticking out so much. Her face was matronly, to use her own words, avoiding such terms as “rubenesque” or “chubby” or “on the verge of sprouting a second chin”, perhaps because the dozens of pounds she’d piled onto her body had a tendency to spread downwards rather than upwards.

From behind, one could see the problem unobscured and without distractions. Rosa had been quite enjoying her royal diet ever since she got pregnant and started experiencing cravings fit for a queen, and her ass and thighs had swollen in turn. Her ass, which if you asked her husband, had already been quite large, had more than doubled in size, and her hips spread out well past her shoulders, wobbling slightly as she turned herself trying to find something resembling a flattering angle for her big butt. Her thighs rubbed together thanks to her feminine pose, and from the way they squished and compressed just from that, it was unavoidable that she looked anything less than chunky.

“It’s not that bad, is it?” Rosa pouted, deciding to postpone the issue by covering it up with her royal regalia as usual. Rosa slipped on her favourite outfit: a simple cream dress with expensive furnishings, projecting what she felt was an image of modesty with the dignity of a queen. The blue belt was largely decorative to begin with, but the way its extended form hung loosely around her belly without pressing in on it before cemented its role as purely for fashion. Rosa turned around expecting to feel a sense of satisfaction at how the loose dress obscured her full figure, only to frown when she saw the imprint her ass seemed to be leaving in the back. One could easily see the shape of both of her chunky ass cheeks in it, and her bottom-heavy figure cut a striking silhouette, not to mention how it seemed to be pulled rather tight across her chest, emphasising her bust. If anything it was her belly that was de-emphasised by the loose maternity dress, leaving the rest of her figure pulled tight. The tall collar she wore did obscure how chubby her cheeks had gotten, if nothing else.

Rosa sighed, figuring that there was nothing for it but to throw on her purple patterned cape and hope that this obscured her royal ass. Which it did, but for how long? She twirled slightly in the mirror, conscious of her belly. Was her figure perhaps… a little too much?

Less than an hour later, she asked as much of her husband. She met Cecil between meetings, the former fighter busy keeping the peace of their kingdom from the top.

“Darling, you don’t think I’ve…” Rosa asked him after a healthy kiss and a deep hug, “...put on a little weight since we decided to have the baby, do you?”

Cecil stiffened a little, not the best at hiding his emotions since he’d decided to stop suppressing himself, particularly around his wife. She could see him put on the face he usually wore when he wasa

“Really? I hadn’t noticed.” He said, a rather perfect answer. No wonder he made such a good king, Rosa thought to herself with a suppressed sigh.

“Well, now that you have,” Rosa allowed him to play dumb. “What do you think?”

“I think you look beautiful.” He said without even an instant of hesitation, and Rosa felt herself fall for him all over again. “It’s perfectly natural to have a fuller figure when you’re with child. Don’t worry about such things, only keeping yourself healthy. I’ll call for the cooks to prepare you another meal if you’ve been depriving yourself out of worry.”

“Oh, no need, I’ve already made preparations for lunch.” Rosa chuckled rather shamelessly, raising a slightly chubby hand to her lips as she usually did when she laughed. “Pay no mind to the matter, dear, nothing is more important to me right now than preparing for our baby.”

Rosa turned and waddled away, her cheeks flushing slightly as she realised just how good of a look at her other cheeks her husband would be getting right were it not for her cape. She definitely wasn’t going to get an honest opinion out of him, and to ask the castle staff what they thought of their queen putting on weight was to ask them if they wanted a one-way ticket to unemployment. She felt her hips rock and her ass wobble as she got her exercise in for the day by heading to the stables, deciding that there was only one person she could trust for this.

“Get me your fastest messenger and give him your swiftest chocobo.” Rosa commanded the stablemaster, having figured that the walk would balance out the calories of her upcoming lunch. It wouldn’t. “I have a letter I’d like to send, addressed to Rydia, the legendary summoner of the Feymarch…”

“You want my honest opinion?” Rydia asked, an eyebrow raised as she looked at the chunky queen. “You sure?”

Rydia had arrived at the castle as quickly as possible after receiving a letter from Rosa stating that she’d like to meet up with her again before she gave birth to her first child, and Rydia was more than happy to rush over to get reacquainted with her dear friend. However, Rydia had been somewhat taken aback by the motherly figure Rosa had managed to obtain since she last saw her, and had expected it to be a bit of an elephant in the room. However, after their initial greetings were out of the way and she’d had some time to get hands-on with Rosa’s hefty belly and praise her on that maternal glow, Rosa had pointed her right towards that elephant without any sign of hesitation.

“I’m most definitely sure.” Rosa said, delicately sipping her tea. “My husband certainly can’t be relied on for objectivism when it comes to his wife, and as the queen, I can hardly ask my subjects to be frank with me. Not to mention, it would be a breach of dignity to ask anybody about my figure besides perhaps my maidservants.”

“Uh huh.” Rydia sipped her own tea to hide a smirk. There was no way she couldn’t find somebody with loose lips and a lack of delicacy in this whole castle, she just presumably wanted to hear it from a friend. Which Rydia didn’t mind, even if it was becoming obvious that this was the whole reason she’d asked her to come here out of the blue. “Maybe your tailor too.”

“This is quite a serious matter, Rydia.” Rosa pouted cutely. “I can’t have our fair kingdom think that their queen doesn’t have an appropriate level of dignity.”

“You’re pregnant, who cares how fa- heavy you get?” Rydia quickly corrected herself. “If you ask me, you’re the type who’ll have that aura of dignity even if you’re the size of a whale. Uh, not that you’re that bad, or anything.”

“Well, Cecil and I were thinking it’d be nice for our child to have a brother or sister…” Rosa blushed, holding her cheeks with her hands as she clearly daydreamed about her bright future.

“Already?” Rydia remarked. She leaned back in her chair, running a hand through her wild green hair. “I figured you two were the type to have a big family, but you’re really getting a move on. You’re not gonna have to worry about heirs, that’s for sure.”

“Yes, it’s going to be wonderful.” Rosa said dreamily, then cleared her throat. “In any case, my current eating habits might be continuing a little longer. I’m sure I’ve only put on a little bit of weight lately, but I must have a second opinion on it.

“Well, as long as I don’t end up in the stocks in the town square for it…” Rydia joked in advance before leaning in, Rosa noting that Rydia had managed to blossom into a woman with breasts nearly as large as Rosa’s own currently bloated ones, and enjoyed wearing generously low-necked outfits to match. Whoever she married was going to be a lucky one.

“Please let me have it, Rydia. I must have an honest opinion.” Rosa implored her.

“Well, if you insist.” Rydia cleared her throat dramatically, and took a deep breath before looking Rosa dead in the eye.

“Your highness, you’re huge!” Rydia exclaimed.” “What have you been eating since I was gone? How’d you manage this in just seven or eight months? You must be double what you used to weigh! Seriously!”

“Perhaps there was a more delicate way you could have put that.” Rosa crossed her arms and looked away, flushed slightly red.

“Hey, you said you wanted an honest opinion, I just gave it to you!” Rydia defended herself. “I didn’t say it was a bad thing! I think you look fine.”

“You certainly sound like it’s a problem.”

“I didn’t say that! You look fine, just, you know, different!” Rydia insisted, and she was being honest about it. Rosa looked good with some meat on her bones, she just had a bit more meat than anybody might have expected.

“Rydia, please, I asked you to be honest.” Rosa implored her. “You clearly aren’t saying everything.”

“Well, I just think it’s a shame that you aren’t really in shape for going adventuring together like the good old days.” Rydia sighed wistfully.

“I hardly think that’d be appropriate for a new mother.” Rosa pointed out, resting a hand on her large belly for emphasis. It seemed that Rydia had a bit of an attachment to their glory days, to be mentioning that while she was still pregnant. She knew that Rydia had continued to be an adventurer, so perhaps she just wanted more quality time together.

“I know, but… y’know, after the kids have settled down a little. You can’t even visit Feymarch, the way you are right now, you can’t blame me for wanting to look ahead a little.” Rydia said with her own nostalgic tone. “Well, by then you’d have had time to work it off and get back to normal, right?”

“That might be quite a few years away.” Rosa pointed out. “Perhaps you’ll have had children of your own by then.”

“Me? Settle down?” Rydia said incredulously. “I can’t see it. I don’t even want kids right now.”

“Is that so?” Rosa giggled. “I’ll just have to do my best to make you jealous.”

“Don’t count on it.” Rydia scoffed. “No matter how cute those brats are, I just can’t see it happening. I can’t see myself getting weighed down for a whole nine months, and that’s just the beginning of- Hey, stop looking so smug!”

“Sorry, royal privileges.” Rosa continued giggling. Well, she was sure that she’d get her weight under control now that she was truly aware of it. Then, once the baby was born, she could work on her diet and consider it just a temporary fluctuation, a reasonable blip for an expectant mother. But until then, she thought as her mouth unconsciously watered, she’d take advantage of not having to regulate her diet…

“I thought you said you were gonna tone it down, your highness.” Rydia said, looking like a parent talking to a naughty child as she stood with her arms crossed before Rosa, who had two babies sleeping just one room across from the two. They had finally quietened down enough for their mother to relax and chat with her friend, allowing  “I distinctly believe I heard you say that you were going to start “considering some discipline” in your diet after your third baby.”

It had been a few years since Rosa’s first pregnancy, and the experience had only made her more enthusiastic and hungry for more. Barely a few weeks after she’d given birth had the queen announced that she was expecting again, the kingdom eager to celebrate the expansion of the royal family, although there were more mixed feelings on the expansion of the queen herself.

With her pregnancy cravings only intensifying and her husband even more eager to spoil her, Rosa continued to inflate like a balloon, eating around the clock with constant reassurance that she was merely doing what was best for her expecting load, and as Rosa had predicted, none were brave enough to tell her she had gotten straight up fat.

Hope for the queen’s waistline was lost perhaps for good when she announced a third pregnancy soon after the second, and none could fault her for her enthusiasm when they saw how she doted on her children. Why not have a third, perhaps even a fourth? Rosa grew and grew, Rydia in awe of how much the woman managed to bloat every time she saw her.

And so, with her fourth baby less than a month away, the queen proudly entered the realm of true obesity, twice or more as wide as her curvy yet slender summoner friend. Undeniably bottom heavy, her thick, bulging biceps and chunky arms were nothing less than a side-attraction to her awe-inspiring hips and thighs that even her husband struggled to wrap his arms around. The fat of her belly seemed to sag in particular, allowing her belly to remain distinctly rounded and obviously heavy with belly rather than just heavy with fat, although if she continued to grow babies like she grew her body, who knew when it might obscure her pregnancies altogether?

Currently sitting in her favourite living-room chair, or to be more accurate spread across almost an entire sofa, her thighs and all of her waist’s fat was pushed up making her seemingly even wider, and she was already on the verge of struggling to fit through narrow doorways. Her hips seemed twice as wide as her shoulders, which were themselves considerably thicker with all of the flab piled onto them. By the time her second pregnancy started showing she’d already had a second chin, and her wide, fat face gave her a particularly motherly air. Her ass was so huge that even her cape was draped across it at a noticeable angle, and each ass cheek was so side that you could see the sides of them wobbling with each step even while standing directly behind her.

Her breasts that had always lagged behind her behind had still not quite managed to catch up, but four pregnancies had left their impact on her. Each was easily bigger than her head, sagging down to rest upon her gut and almost extend out as far as her belly. It was truly a testament to the size of her massive ass cheeks, each the size of cushions fit for a queen, that they could overtake such healthy udders.

“Yes, well, it’s not easy…” Rosa said, pressing two fat fingers together as she averted her gaze. “I mean, having the babies…”

“Really? You sure make it look easy with how many of them you’re having.” Rydia narrowed her eyes as she gently rocked the baby she was carrying. “I can’t believe you’re already on baby number four. Feels like just yesterday I was congratulating you on the second and you were telling me you were considering rounding things out with a third!”

“Four is a good number, don’t you think?” Rosa said with a warm, motherly, extremely shameless smile. Her bloated cheeks seemed to make it stretch on forever, and it was easy to see why nobody could say no to her when she said she wanted another baby, least of all her husband.

“At the rate you’re going, it’s gonna be five or six!” Rydia exclaimed. “Out one comes and in the next goes! Cecil must be the happiest, most exhausted man in the kingdom!”

“Do lower your voice a bit! What if somebody heard you?” Rosa flushed. “A queen must have her dignity, even around friends.”

“Yeah, you’ve got a lot of dignity to go around.” Rydia teased Rosa as she took up what seemed like most of the sofa she was sitting on, compared to the normal chair that Rydia had her own firm yet perky butt planted in. “I’m almost jealous, every time I see you you’re having the time of your life. Not that I want to puff myself up like you, but, y’know.”

“It’s not all upsides.” Rosa sighed.

“Really? Like what?” Rydia resisted the urge to say that that wasn’t the only thing resting heavily on her. Rydia could see herself all cute and pregnant like her, sure, but not in a million years could she see herself tripling her body weight and getting all out of breath just walking to greet her at the castle’s entrance. Sure, she might inevitably get a little chubby, but that? No way.

“Well, due to my ongoing status, I’ve been unable to fulfil certain duties I once believed to be quite important to the prosperity of the kingdom.” Rosa sighed, Rydia’s expression turning from teasing to concerned.

“What is it? Maybe I can help.” Rydia offered.

“It’s not something you can help with, I’m afraid.” Rosa’s face well. “You see, it’s…”

“Out with it already!” Rydia urged.

“Ever since I became pregnant, I haven’t been able to enter the Baron national beauty contest.” Rosa said sadly, Rydia stunned silent. “I’d won it every year up until recently, but they don’t accept pregnant woman, so I’ve missed my chance for the last three years! If I give birth before my expected due date I might be able to enter, but I fear that the judges might not look so kindly on a woman of my size…”

“Seriously?”  Rydia’s jaw had been hanging open, slack with shock.

“It’s quite serious.” Rosa said with a severe tone to her voice. “The kingdom of Baron has always prided itself on its queen being considered the most beautiful in all the land, and I fear I may no longer be able to live up to their expectations.”

“Well, as far as I’m concerned, if somebody thinks you’re any less beautiful the way you are now, they’ve got the worst taste in all the land.” Rydia laughed proudly. While she was still awestruck by how fat Rosa had gotten, she had to admit that she wore it well. It was more the practical problems with being tremendously obese that concerned her, as her dreams of inviting her along on one of her dungeon dives had been almost completely abandoned by this point. She doubted that Rosa would be willingly parted from her children for that long anyway. And, well, Rosa was a queen. If she wasn’t doing any running about fighting monsters anymore, was there really anything wrong with her turning into a bit of a whale?

The baby giggled, then reached out and pawed at Rydia’s breasts, which had been by now well outgrown by her mother’s, but were respectable in their own right.

“Hey, quit it, I’m not your mommy!” Rydia tried to gently pry the baby away from her chest, who was feebly tugging at her low-necked top in the hopes of reaching the nipples hiding just under it. “You aren’t gonna find anything!”

“You could always try to help out by fixing that. Even I have trouble keeping up sometimes” Rosa said, huffing as she pushed herself onto her feet and waddled around the table. “Here dear, come to mommy…”

Rydia very carefully stood up and gently placed the baby in Rosa’s arms, looking enraptured by the tiny creature the whole time, almost reluctant to let go of her. Rosa huffed just as much from taking the few steps back to settle herself into her seat, sinking into the deep recess she’d left.

“Wondering how it feels?” Rosa asked with a gleam in her eye.

“Of course not.” Rydia tried to break her gaze on the baby with little success. “Sure, it’s cute and all, but the whole thing just seems like a pain. You don’t seriously think I want to have a baby just because you keep pumping them out, do you?”

“Of course not.” Rosa lied as she comfortably nestled her baby between the flab on top of her rounded gut and her hefty breasts, where the baby greedily sucked down her ample breast milk. “It’s just that you’ve grown into a rather mature lady, and I’m sure you’re at an age where you’re thinking about this sort of thing.”

“Just thinking, and don’t over-emphasise that part.” Rydia said defensively, playing with her hair. “I’m thinking about picking up some jewelry in the city before I head home, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna do it.”

“It’s a good time for it. ” Rosa smiled innocently. “You wouldn’t want to get too much older, you’re in the prime of your life. And it’d be good for our babies to have some play-mates their age. By the way, how’s your boyfriend doing? He was a rather handsome man the last time we met, very polite, very agreeable, he seemed quite enthusiastic when I suggested the idea…”

Your highness, you sound like you’re about to make a royal decree to interfere with my love life.” Rydia got frosty, folding her arms. “Just leave it, okay? Unlike you, I’m not obsessed with having a family! I’ll take another few years to make up my mind, and if I feel the time is right, then maybe I’ll consider it.”

“Alright, I won’t mention it again.” Rosa kept giving her a knowing smile. “I’m just saying that I’m sure you’d look rather lovely, and have an absolutely beautiful baby.”

“Of course I would.” Rydia asserted proudly. “I”d have the cutest baby, so cute it’d make you the jealous one.”

I didn’t say anything about you being jealous. Rosa thought to herself, idly twirling her long blonde hair herself as her baby finally finished feeding.

“Rydia, could you be a dear and go ask for seconds?” Rosa said without a hint of shame, gesturing at the empty platter in front of her that Rosa had demolished before Rydia had time to take more than one or two snacks for herself. Rydia sighed and reluctantly agreed, appreciating the fact that she could stand up without even thinking about it compared to Rosa who sometimes needed help just getting to her feet.

“Whenever I get pregnant, I am going to enjoy eating like that.” Rydia muttered to herself as she wandered off to find the nearest servant. Not that she planned to any time soon…

Less than a month later, Rosa received a letter from Rydia stating that she was expecting her first child, leaving the queen absolutely overjoyed to the point that her maids urged her to calm down lest she cause herself to give birth prematurely. She was nonetheless waddling around the castle as quickly as she could, eager to have her retainers prepare half a dozen gifts to send back with her letter of congratulations. She knew that Rydia had it in her, but it was even sooner than she expected!

However, Rosa’s enthusiasm soon hit a snag. She had intended to visit Rydia’s village once she gave birth to her latest child, but soon found herself preoccupied by some lengthy diplomatic matters that Cecil required support with, as well as needing to travel around for several months. She penned a heavy apology with a heavier hand, Rydia’s response seeming to take it well, hoping to surprise her with a large belly of her own. Soon Rosa was pregnant yet again after a romantic night at another country’s diplomatic delegation, and found herself with even more reasons why she couldn’t simply leave the castle and visit.

It seemed that Rydia had matters of her own to attend to, and so nearly seven months passed before Rosa received a message saying that Rydia would soon be on her way, albeit at a rather slow pace in order to avoid anything that might be too rigorous for the baby.

“CONGRATULATIONS!” Rosa cried before Rydia could say a single word when the green-haired summoner arrived at her doorstep, immediately pulling her into a deep, squishy hug where she could feel her own six month pregnant orb press gently against Rydia’s eight-month own “Oh, you look wonderful, adorable, perfect! You’re going to be such a good mother, Rydia!”

“At least say that after taking ten seconds to look at me!” Rydia protested, Rosa reluctantly releasing Rydia.

“Oh my.” Rosa gasped as she took an actual proper look at Rydia, who had gone through more changes than just a baby bump. “Rydia, you’ve gotten rather big since we last met.

Big might have been an understatement for the amount of weight that Rydia had put on in such a short time. Her hips and thighs were doubled, perhaps tripled in width, easily as thick as Rosa had been by the end of her pregnancy. Just matching the royal mother was a feat in and of itself, but Rydia had actually managed to surpass her in spades. Rydia wasn’t as naturally bottom-heavy as Rosa, her body’s fat preferring to allocate itself in more of a traditional hourglass. If Rydia’s hips were as big as Rosa’s at the time, then that meant that the total amount of fat on her frame had easily surpassed the then-Rosa, and her body clearly showed it.

Rydia had a healthy second chin that wobbled when she spoke, and arms that had doubled in thickness and were soft and squishy to the touch. She had thick love-handles accompanying her gravid orb, and breasts that were approaching the size of her head already, a little perkier than Rosa’s and granting her somewhat of a bloated hourglass figure, if only because the folds of fat at her waist still cinched slightly inwards. Her once slender arms seemed thick and clumsy, and who knew how big she might get if she continued at this rate for as long as Rosa had.

“You could have said that with a little more delicacy.” Rydia pouted, then grinned. “Oh well, at least I’m still skinny next to you, right?”

“Certainly.” Rosa laughed. “Come, sit down! Standing for too long isn’t good for the baby.”

The two headed over to Rosa’s guest room after Rosa instructed nearby servants to bring twice as many snacks as usual, where the seats had grown even wider since Rydia had last visited, which was quite good for her, as she would have struggled to fit her flabby new ass into a regular-sized chair.

“Practically everybody in the village has been stuffing me until I’m about to burst.” Rydia elaborated ruefully, joining Rosa in her tendency to gently stroke her own belly while she was talking. “It’s traditional for summoners to bring gifts of food to new mothers, but, well, they don’t usually give this much.”

“It must be because everybody loves you so much.” Rosa said, making Rydia bashful with how pure her words were as usual. “I believe you said that crops have been bountiful too.”

“Feels like I’m single-handedly dealing with the surplus.” Rydia said. “Anyway, I’m glad this worked out, I’ve really wanted to see you ever since my pregnancy really started showing. And not just for the sake of it.

“Oh?” Rosa said, reaching for her tea and some cookies as a servant quickly entered, put down an immense amount of food, then quickly left the two to devour it all in record time.

“Well, I really wanted to get the low-down on how to be the best mom I can, from the best mom I know.” Rydia said with rosy cheeks. “Just carrying one of these brats has been such an experience, all I can think is how amazing you are for doing it five times!”

“Five times so far.” Rosa smiled broadly, placing a finger on her second chin where it easily sunk in. Rosa herself had gotten even fatter, her hips extending a hand’s width out as the rest of her grew thicker and thicker.

“Well, if you have any advice for a first time mother so far, I wouldn’t mind it.” Rydia said, unable to contain her smile. “You know, it’s kind of nice, isn’t it? I was just thinking it might be nice to do it again soon, you know? I was an only child, so I told my boyfriend that if we’re gonna do it, I definitely want to have at least two-”

“Your boyfriend?” Rosa said with a rare frown. “You mean you two still aren’t married?”

“Uh, no, not yet…”

“Rydia!” Rosa would have jumped to her feet had she not been far too obese to consider any of the sort, and instead simply wobbled in her seat. “You mean to tell me you’re this close to giving birth to your first child together and you aren’t even married!?”

“It’s not that big of a deal, okay? Plenty of summoners are like this.” Rydia scrambled to defend herself. “Nobody in the village minds.”

“Well I certainly mind.” Rosa huffed. “Unbelievable! Imagine what you’ll tell your child when they grow up!”

“It’s seriously not that bad, you’re so old-fashioned!” Rydia complained. “And besides, it… Well, you know…”

“Besides?” Rosa’s second chin squashed as she made a gesture at something that resembled leaning in.

“Well, you said you couldn’t make it to the village, and I know you wouldn’t want to miss it, so I figured I’d wait until…” Rydia trailed off.

“You there!” Rosa suddenly barked at a servant waiting on the other side of the door, the maid scrambling to enter and attend to the queen. “Inform my husband that I’ll be travelling to the village of Feymarch, and that he’ll be coming with me! Tell him that there’ll be no ifs or buts about it!”

“Y-yes your highness!” The maid squeaked then scurried off.

“I absolutely will not allow a lovely young maiden such as yourself to have a child out of wedlock!” Rosa declared. “And you’re right, I will not under any circumstances miss your wedding!”

Rosa, with great effort, managed to struggle to her feet. “Now, come, Rydia! We need to have you fitted for a wedding dress!”

Rydia didn’t bother protesting, instead devoting her efforts to the increasingly difficult task of standing up as she let Rosa string her along for her perfect wedding plan…

“Alright kids, it’s time for bed, your mommies will stay up and talk a little longer.” Rosa announced, with the scattering of feet across the room as almost ten children of varying ages accompanied each other out of the room, a mixture of blonde and green hair as the two’s combined litters had enjoyed a long day playing together while their oversized mothers supervised them.

“They are a little handful, aren’t they?”

“Yes, but they’re so cute at that age.” Rydia said. “You were right about three year olds being extra adorable. Can you believe that she’ll be four soon?”

Rosa resisted the urge to say that she could believe it based on Rydia bringing two toddlers, a baby, and a fourth well on the way along with her making it simple arithmetic. Perhaps Rydia’s sass was finally rubbing off on her, or it was just parenthood catching up with her after pumping out children for almost a decade.

“My husband and I are already deciding on potential names for our fifth, you know.” Rydia said proudly, having been infected with the same baby-fever as Rosa leading her to allow herself to be impregnated over and over. It was partially because she desired a large family for herself, wanted her kids to have many siblings, and to help repopulate the summoner village. Secretly, Rosa felt that she just liked being constantly spoiled by everybody around her.

And spoiled Rydia was, having ballooned year after year until she’d not just caught up with Rosa but surpassed her despite a nearly half-decade headstart. Rydia was so bloated she could barely reach her own perpetually poking-out belly button, her neck entirely consumed by her second chin as her beautiful features turned distinctly blobby under her own flab, a trait that Rosa shared to only a slightly less severe degree as she’d also continued to gain weight, albeit not quite as rapidly.

Rydia had by far the bigger breasts, genuine beach-balls that were easily the size of her average pregnancy and were perpetually swollen with milk that would occasionally stain her tops if she didn’t feed her hungry children often enough. Rosa’s by comparison were “merely” twice the size of her head or so each, similarly eternally sloshing with milk. Rosa’s most notable feature that she typically considered an advantage over Rydia proportionally was her absolutely massive ass, yet Rydia’s insatiable appetite had made her catch up to nearly even on that, cementing the fact that she was at least a hundred or more pounds heavier than Rosa and still rapidly rising. It was a testament to Rosa’s bottom-heaviness that she remained just a bit wider than her after all that.

The result was two immense women draped over two oversized sofas, waists reaching from nearly corner to corner as their love handles sagged and their thighs spread. Once, feeling a little insecure about her bottom-heavy figure compared to Rydia’s well-rounded proportions, Rosa had asked her husband what he preferred: big breasts, or big hips. As a paladin he knew he could never lie, nor did he need to, as he had enthusiastically answered that he would take huge hips any day. Later that night, the two had successfully conceived their next child.

“A fifth? Didn’t you say you were going to stop at four?” Rosa said, glancing down at Rydia’s belly. Even though she was eight months along, her belly was so engorged with fat that the only way you could tell was due to her belly being slightly round, sloped at the top rather than sagging, and the underside of it hung heavy and dropped down to the middle of her thighs.

Rosa’s pregnancy was still clearly visible, but this was primarily due to a special occasion: Rosa had been blessed with twins this time, with a proportionately larger belly to match. Its roundness stuck out past even her huge breasts.

It took the mightiest of oaks to surpass the size of the two’s tree-trunk thighs, so thick that you could sink your hand in and be buffeted by pure flab without any hope of reaching the muscle below. The two wobbled with each tiny motion, particularly owing to the enormous amount of skin the two had on display.

The two had, in perhaps a show of their roots before the babies, before the intense piling on of blubber, started wearing primarily leotards these days, finding the clevaage-bearing and high-cut articles to be the comfiest and easiest to wear compared to the flashy dress Rydia had favoured or even the conservative dress that Rosa preferred with its broadsheets' worth of fabric. The two hardly bothered with accessories around their waists that weren’t thin, comfortable sashes, Rosa making up with an elaborate cape that could be draped across her broadly bloated shoulders. At some point, Rosa had simply decided that her body was too huge for modesty, and that comfort should take priority.

“Did I? Well, I was thinking, wouldn’t it be nice to have twins at least once?” Rydia said whimsically. “I’m so jealous of you for getting to have some. Perhaps if I’m lucky enough to have some, I’ll name them after Palom and Porom.”

“I’ll let you have first rights to the names, then.” Rosa laughed, sending gentle ripples through her bulk. “I was going to stop at eight, but then I ended up having the twins spoil my plans!”

“Well, at this point, what’s one more?” Rydia suggested eagerly. “You can have a nice round number if you make it to ten. And that’ll give me time to have at least one more of my own!”

“What a wonderful idea.” Rosa said, feeling elated like she always did when she thought of making her enormous family even larger, and Rydia doing the same. Truth be told she might have stopped earlier, but Rydia seemed eager to match her output, and she just couldn’t help herself when it came to driving her friend to join her in pumping out babies. She was so obviously enjoying herself that she couldn’t bring herself to stop. Most importantly Cecil seemed delighted with every new child and the two were still happily managing to raise them all, so why stop now when the momentum was good? She got the impression that if Rydia didn’t get her twins she might try again, and again, and again… What a beautiful thought.

“Now, shall we have second dinner?” Rosa suggested, grunting as she began the long, arduous process of standing up from her seat. Normally she’d call for help from a maid, but she wanted to show off in front of her friend. She placed her fat, cumbersome hands on the edge of her seat, pushing up with all of her might as she slowly but surely lifted her gargantuan ass out of the crater she’d made in the sofa. Eventually she’d made it all the way up and teetered carefully atop the steadiest feet possible, resting her hands atop her thinly-covered belly. Her biceps were so overloaded with fat that they were practically barrel-shaped, bulging out over relatively thinner forearm and squishing against her sides and against her breasts whenever she moved them.

“No, it’s alright, I can do it…” Rydia said as Rosa extended a helping hand, almost going red in the face she struggled to pull herself upwards. “Normally my husband is here to help…!”

With a lot of huffing and puffing Rydia was up, the engorged woman panting as she too rested a hand on her belly as if to make sure that she hadn’t worn the baby out too. The two slowly, ponderously waddled out of the room, thumping against the carpeted floor with each step. Walking was something the two kept to a minimum, although Rosa probably did more of it despite her higher status. There were simply places she must be on a given day, whereas Rydia could stay indoors or sit in one place as her responsibility shifted to training the next generation of summoners. Were her still powerful magical abilities required, she didn’t really need to be anywhere near the problem as long as her summoning was powerful enough. The result was a clumsy summoner who waddled through the room, hardly taking into account the many things that might be in her way.

“Oops!” Rydia said as she bumped a chest of drawers with her hips, stumbling out of the way and nearly taking out an expensive vase in the process. In her own house, most things that could be knocked over had already been safely put away or nailed down.. “Sorry, I’m not used to how cramped it is in here.”

Although the two whale-like women were similar in size and their struggle to achieve basic locomotion, there were some vary notable differences in how the two carried themselves. Well aware of her size and status, Rosa moved with grace despite her lumbering steps, carefully planning out her route through each room to take her immensity into account. No matter how heavy one was, they could always move with dignity.

Rydia by contrast, perhaps due to being even more pampered than the queen, moved as if she wasn’t as large as she was, and nearly racked up a bill that she couldn’t pay. She huffed and puffed openly while Rosa kept her own noises of exertion to a minimum, making it clear that the heavier woman was also far more out of shape.

The two oversized mothers continued to chat, so caught up in their regular baby talk that they paid hardly any attention to where they were going until Rydia suddenly stopped. She had chosen to be the first through the door in front of them, only to come to a complete halt. She grunted, huffed, then puffed some more, her ass wobbling and her body shaking.

“What is it, Rydia?”

“I’m, I’m a bit stuck right now.” Rydia said, obviously embarrassed. “Rosa, your doors are so narrow! Why didn't you tell me before I tried to get through this stupid thing!?”

“I’m terribly sorry, Rydia.” Rosa gasped. “This doorway hasn’t been renovated yet, this happened to me a while ago and I was so caught up in our conversation that I completely forgot about it… Would you like a push?”

“Not just yet!” Rydia grunted, “Luckily, I’m not quite as wide as you, so I think with a little elbow grease I can…!”

Rydia wriggled and wobbled until her blubbery body finally popped free, Rydia letting out a gasp of relief as she almost began to sweat from exertion.

“Alright, now you.” Rydia gestured, but only after taking the better part of ten seconds to swing her body around, between her size and the exhaustion of having to walk for over two minutes getting to her. “No, Rosa, what’re you doing?”

“Oh dear, I so thought I could make it through too.” Rosa giggled sheepishly as she too felt her hips jam.

“Seriously, I know you’re pregnant and all, but you can be such an airhead sometimes.” Rydia put her chubby palm to her forehead. “You just saw me get stuck! You could have at least gone in sideways.”

“I’ll know for next time.” Rosa said, and her face flushed slightly red. Rydia would think it was due to embarrassment, but it was Rosa’s secret that she was quite enjoying the sensation of being stuck. It was just like when this had happened to her before, when her husband had been forced to push her through. She was also proud to see that she was a little more firmly stuck than Rydia seemed to have been. If only her husband were here to see this…

“I’m not pulling you through while you’re pregnant, you know. What if you fall over?” Rydia pointed out. “Can you try backing out? That might be easiest.”

This was indeed the case, as it didn’t take Rosa long to dislodge herself, much to her disappointment. She turned herself sideways and waddled through, although there wasn’t as much clearance that way either.  The two waddled onward, hurrying up ever so slightly as the scent of a lavish dinner waited for them: their second of the night. Soon the two mothers would gorge themselves once again, fully expecting to continue this overindulgent lifestyle for years yet…
