It was a peaceful day in Cinq Ville, the futuristic metropolis that was home to Aile, a once humble courier turned guardian of the city thanks to the power of Biometal. She was currently enjoying a stroll through the city she had worked so hard to keep safe. With the world’s most pressing existential threats defeated thanks to the efforts of her, the Guardians, and another Biometal user, her days were largely uneventful, with no need for her to transform and face down danger. Yet her patrols continued, ready to do a more ordinary type of good and enjoy the peaceful years, however long they might last. Today she had a companion, a young girl with pale blue hair and a spunky attitude, looking partially relaxed as they made their way downtown.
“Thanks for helping me patrol, Ashe.” Aile said, the brunette’s thanks being casually waved off by the tomboy treasure hunter.
“Eh, I didn’t have anything better to do.” Ashe shrugged. “Besides, that was less a patrol, more you sticking your nose into everybody’s business.”
“If somebody needs a hand it never hurts to help out.” Aile said idealistically, Ashe sticking up her nose at her wide-open attitude.
“I only do favours when it’s profitable.” She claimed, but was more than happy to pitch in with the detours Aile had made. Still, she felt like if she hung out with Aile any longer, she’d be rescuing cats stuck in trees and using her incredible athleticism to snatch lost balloons out of the air for crying children.
“Anyway,” Ashe said with a yawn, missing Aile’s head turning as if on a pivot in the direction of a certain citizen. “Let’s get back to the ship and-”
“Hold that thought.” Aile said, stopping on a dime and marching back the way they came before Ashe could protest, approaching a woman slouched on a public bench, looking utterly downcast and constantly sighing. As Ashe got a better look at her she noticed her expensive, high-class fashion and the vast array of jewellery on her, not to mention the waft of luxurious perfume. This woman figuratively and literally smelt like money to Ashe, causing her protests that they had helped out enough random people today to die in her throat.
“What’s got you so down?” Aile asked kindly, the woman looking up from beneath the brim of her wide sunhat, brushing a long, silky bang out of her eyes, the woman having rose red straight hair that spilled down her back, with long locks dangling from her temples that fell down almost to her chin. She was a rather motherly-looking woman, with plump ruby-red lips and rounded cheeks that gave her a soft, welcoming appearance, with a slim but curvy body accentuated by a tight dress that flared out around her ankles, accompanied with long puffy sleeves and her broad-brimmed hat, all to give her the look of an old-fashioned socialite. It was this gentle appearance that made her seem all the more miserable and evoked sympathy from even the most stone-hearted pedestrians, currently doing her best to stop her makeup from running.
“Oh, today’s just been terrible. It’s not a problem any woman should have to go through.” She sniffled, dabbing her teary heavy made-up eyes with a handkerchief. “I went to the doctor, the hospital, even the fertility clinic just down the road, and they all told me that no matter what they do, I’ll never be able to conceive and start the family I always wanted. Oh, and my husband and I had been so looking forward to it ever since we got married, but it’s just not meant to be!”
“I’m very sorry to hear that.” Aile said empathetically as the woman blew her nose.
“Thank you, dear.”
“Why not just go get a surrogate? You look like you can afford it.” Ashe offered, feeling a little bad for miss moneybags. “Sure, it might not be the same as doing it yourself, but speakin’ from experience, blood relationships aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. Trust me, your kid won’t mind long as you’re a good parent, miss, uhh…?”
“You can call me Beatrice, sweetie. And that’s just the thing, I was actually looking for one right now!” The woman perked up a little, giving Ashe a look that she felt a little wary of. “But it’s been much trickier than I thought to find a girl or two ready to help me start the large family I always wanted!”
“How large are we talking?” Ashe asked.
“Oh, let’s see, when I moved into my mansion I was told it could house up to fifty people…” Beatrice said, looking deeply contemplative, then looking up with a wide, innocent smile. “So about that many?”
“Fifty!?” Ashe exclaimed, physically recoiling in shock. “What, all at once!?”
“Preferably.” Beatrice said without any hint of self-awareness or jest. “It’d take quite a while otherwise, and I’d like my children to have lots of brothers and sisters to play with…”
“N-no wonder you’re having trouble.” Aile said, starting to sweat while keeping her friendly smile up. She could help with a lot of things, but this one might have been a bit above her paygrade. “Well, best of luck to you with that. I, um, hope you find somebody, but it might be best to lower your expectations a little…”
“Oh!” Beatrice’s eyes lit up, Aile’s words going in one ear and out the other. “Why don’t you two nice young ladies be my surrogates?”
The two stared at her with mouths agape.
“You’re not serious, right?” Ashe chuckled awkwardly, but Beatrice’s cheery expression didn’t change.
“Why would I be?” She said, sounding genuinely confused by the suggestion. “You two have wonderful bodies, I’m sure you’d be perfect!”
Her eyes drifted down to Ashe and Aile’s toned, hardened abs, or perhaps the wombs ready to swell with life within them. The two were in the peak of physical health, ready for any challenge they took on.
“Lady, we just met.” Ashe said bluntly, hoping to snap this woman out of her maternal fantasy. “I don’t know how much you think you think it’ll cost for somebody to take on a busload of babies, but-”
“How about this much? Up front, of course. I can book the clinic for this afternoon!” Beatrice proposed, holding up her phone with a bank statement already written up and ready to transfer. Ashe’s eyes nearly bulged out of her head at the sheer zenny being thrown in her face, Aile leaned in and was similarly starstruck by more money than she had ever seen in one place being casually waved about.
Ashe coughed, her throat dry.
“W-well, sure, that’s a lot, but it’d be nine whole months, you know?” She stammered, Aile nodding to try to get this cash out of her face before she started to get seriously tempted.
“Yes, it’s a little sudden, isn’t it?” Aile mumbled as politely as she could. “And you know, we have a lot to do and…”
“Ah, you’re quite right, you probably wouldn’t be able to work for most of it.” Beatrice realised, then smiled brightly and tapped on her phone again. “How’s this instead?”
The two peered at it, a deep, primal emotion filling Ashe’s brain and overloading her senses as she saw the extra zeroes added to the sum. After a few seconds of stunned silence, Ashe regained the light in her eyes, and it was practically sparkling.
“So that’s what, twenty-five each, right?” Ashe said, rubbing her hands together and grinning from ear to ear.
“Um, Ashe?” Aile said weakly. “Maybe we should talk this over a little more-”
Aile was shut up by Ashe’s glare, the pale-haired hunter leaning in and whispering in her ear.
“This is more than I’d make in years even if I got a big payday every day!” Ashe hissed. “Come on, I know you’re paid peanuts by the Guardians and at your old job! Just think about what you could do with all that moolah! And if you can’t, I’m sure your pink pal can come up with some ideas!”
While Aile was a selfless person most of the time and might have considered that perhaps it was rushing into things to agree to become massively pregnant for a woman she had met mere moments earlier before, it was only human to be overwhelmed and forced to submit by this amount of sheer wealth. Her brain forced her heart to comply, telling her that it was a mere nine months, a massive payout, and this woman would have the family she always wanted. It was a win-win situation for everybody, right? Ashe was clearly not taking no for an answer anyway.
“A-Alright, I suppose I could treat it as a fundraising effort, seeing as things have been quiet lately…” Aile said quietly, scratching her head and wriggling her hips a little guiltily. “Prairie’s always going on and on about how much it takes to keep everything going, I don’t think she’d mind if we put it that way…”
“Oh,thank you, thank you so much!” Beatrice practically leapt off her feet into a flying bear hug before either two could react, smothering Aile’s face between her breasts while Ashe desperately tried to wriggle free, blushing profusely. “You two are the most wonderful girls I’ve ever met!”
“Don’t mention it.” Ashe gasped, trying to avoid suffering Aile’s fate as she nuzzled the two. Those kids wouldn’t have to worry about having a loving mom, that was for sure.
“Fifty is indeed a nice round number, but I don’t mind if you go a little over!” Beatrice giggled , leading the girls down the road to the fertility clinic. “Just let me make this call and get the two of you booked in…”
–
Mere hours later, the two found themselves sitting silently in the clinic’s waiting room, the procedure all done, and the two in a short waiting period before they were cleared to go. Ashe was slouched in her seat, a zoned-out expression on her face, while Aile seemed to be deep in thought, her right hand placed over her flat belly the whole time. Beatrice had gone home after confirming a successful impregnation, Ashe insisting that the two could handle the rest themselves, not sure if she was ready for that woman to bubble happily about how much she was looking forward to the two blowing up like blimps with her future family. She had hoped for a little peace and quiet to take in the enormity of what they had done, but perhaps right now it was a little too quiet.
“So…” Ashe broke the silence, seemingly finally regaining her senses. “How did it feel for you? Y’know, getting knocked up.”
Aile blinked, snapping out of her trance.
“A little uncomfortable.” Aile laughed slightly, rubbing the back of her head. “It was more, um, in and out than I thought. It was the fertility treatment that really got me.”
“Same.” Ashe said, still feeling a little sore from the artificial insemination personally. “That stuff they put in us is real potent, I felt like I was gonna go crazy if they didn’t put a baby in me yesterday.”
Aile giggled empathetically, having felt an incredible craving to be filled with life during the short period between being injected with a cocktail of fertility-enhancing drugs and her impregnation. Aile wouldn’t admit it, but she had been so baby-crazy she could hardly see straight by the time she sat down for the second procedure. She supposed that was the kind of thing that you needed to be able to fit a whole twenty five or more babies in you…
“So…” Ashe said again after another awkward silence. “How does it feel? Right now, I mean.”
“It doesn’t feel like much yet.” Aile admitted, Ashe feeling a little better that she didn’t feel some immediate great change.
“Well it’s gonna feel like a whole lot not too soon.” Ashe leaned back, feeling some post-payday clarity. The money was in the bank and the babies were in her belly, and there were no refunds on either of them. The two of them were in this for the long haul, nine long months of enhanced pregnancy. It had seemed like such an easy thing to agree to when all those numbers were in her face…
“I’m gonna ring Prairie and get her to pick us up.” Aile said, stretching her legs.
“Have fun breaking the news.” Ashe smirked. “Don’t blame me if she gets mad about her favourite agent being out of commission for three trimesters.”
Aile went a little pale, ready for Prairie to explode at her for her reckless sudden pregnancy. She raised her hand to the cybernetic implants over her ears, turning on the external speaker so that Ashe could lean in and overhear their conversation.
“Um, hi, Prairie, it’s me, Aile.” She said, her spare hand tapping her thigh nervously. “Ashe too. We were hoping you could come pick us up, I’ll send you our coordinates… We’ve, uh, we’ve got some big news, okay? It’s nothing dangerous, I swear, just don’t panic, okay?”
“Get on with it!” Ashe hissed.
“Like I said, don’t panic!” Aile repeated, tugging her collar. “Ashe and I… we’re pregnant.”
“That’s great! Who’s the father?” Ashe immediately heard out of the speaker, her eyes going wide in dumbfounded surprise. She and Aile glanced at each other, Aile clearing her throat and continuing.
“Actually, there’s not really a father… I mean, there is, but he was a donor, and… look, it’s a long story… actually, maybe it’s not so long…”
Aile went on to carefully explain the short series of events that had led to them agreeing to become surrogates for an enormous amount of money, Aile sure to clarify that her share was going primarily to the Guardians to fund their operations. Aile eventually finished by saying that they were waiting at the clinic, feeling a little out of it and wanting to be picked up rather than walk all the way back to the transporter.
“I understand!” Prairie responded, sounding very enthusiastic as far as Ashe could tell, but also very confused. “I think! Agreeing to help that lady, what a wonderful, selfless thing to do! Especially Ashe, who would have thought that this would be her idea! I’m sure she’ll be so happy! Don’t worry, I’ll come right over, don’t move a muscle, okay?”
She hung up, Aile looking forward dumbly with a look of both immense relief and confusion on her face.
“Welp…that’s a relief.” Ashe gasped, collapsing in her seat, somehow more on edge than Aile, who was much, much closer to Prairie than she was. “I was sure she was gonna give us the lecture of a lifetime. Particularly after you said it was all my idea!”
“It was though!” Aile protested. “I would have thought about it a little longer…”
“Too late now! Besides, blaming me would just make it worse for you anyway! She’d just say that you’re supposed to be the responsible one!”
“She sounded really happy, you know.” Aile too, looked a little happy on top of her relief. “So let’s just be glad we don’t have to worry about that.”
“I’ll wait and see what the rest of the gang thinks before I breathe easy.” Ashe muttered, the two only having to wait a few minutes before Prairie burst through the door, rushing up to Aile and grabbing her hand before her trailing waistcoat even had time to settle.
“Do you really have a baby in you right now? I mean, babies?” Prairie babbled at top speed, her eyes glittering as Aile was forced to stare deep into them.
“Y-yeah. A lot of them. I don’t know if you could really call them babies yet, but they will be.” Aile promised, Prairie gawking at her still flat as a board belly, placing her hand on it, then on Ashe’s, much to her chagrin.
“There’s nothing to see yet!” Ashe protested, covering her womb protectively. “Give me a minute, okay? There’ll be plenty to go around.”
“I’m sure you’ll make a wonderful mother, Ashe!” Prairie beamed, Ashe blushing, unused to such sheer positivity.
“I’m just holding onto them for Beatrice, okay? It’s not like I’m keeping them.” Ashe said sheepishly, Aile giggling at her reaction.
“Maybe you should consider it practice for later, then.” Aile smiled, Ashe turning up her nose.
“Like hell I’m gonna have this many kids!” Ashe declared, then caught herself. “I-I don’t even know if I want kids in the first place? Who’d want a bunch of brats running around crying and calling them mommy all day anyway? Having to take care of them, and…”
Ashe, in what she would later conveniently blame on residual hormones from the fertility treatment, trailed off as she pictured a rather vivid potential future for herself. When her eyes refocused, she found herself looking at Aile and Prairie grinning smugly at her, Ashe turning bright red.
“Let’s just go home already, okay?” Ashe said, rushing to her feet, only for Prairie to grab her.
“You mustn’t rush!” Prairie insisted, the pink commander speaking even more authoritatively than in battle. “You’re in a very delicate condition right now! Just take slow steps, and-”
“I’m pregnant, not made of glass!” Ashe shook her off indignantly, Aile playing along and letting Prairie take her hand and slowly help her up. Ashe marched out of the clinic with her usual attitude in a show of defiance, while Aile held Prairie’s hand the whole way and took slow, careful steps, even though she still felt like she could run a marathon. Really, Prairie seemed like she was going to coddle her at this rate…
–
The next morning, back on the Guardian home airship, Aile and Ashe met bright and early, Ashe looking rather pale, Aile having taken her first morning as an expecting mother a little more gracefully.
“Well, if I wasn’t pregnant then I’m pregnant now.” Ashe groaned, having had a nasty run-in with morning sickness. “How about you?”
“Well…” Aile said, her hand tracing her belly. Although she didn’t sound as queasy as Ashe, there was a certain tension in her voice, having noticed something that Ashe hadn’t. “Take a look for yourself.”
Ashe’s eyes drifted downwards to Aile’s belly, her eyes widening at what she saw. Aile’s belly was, despite being pregnant for less than twenty-four hours, visibly rounded, a slight but definite slope to her belly. Ashe checked her own, finding a similar bulge, something that looked akin to a woman who had been pregnant for at least a couple of months, at least with a normal pregnancy. Ashe managed to go paler, looking at Aile and finding her similarly worried.
“Ashe?” Aile said weakly, both hands pressed over her slightly bulging belly.
“Yeah?”
“This might not have been a good idea.”
“Yeah…”
–
“One, two, one, two, one, two, one, two…”
Ashe huffed and puffed as she jogged on the treadmill, her huge belly bobbing up and down with each step, punctuated by her attempts to keep her rhythm steady despite her now cumbersome body, accompanied by the pronounced bounce of her chest, a sports bra not enough to stop its heaving to and fro after three months of growth, although its growth was modest compared to the belly she carried that looked like it could have housed triplets, or perhaps even quadruplets at full term.
‘I’ll have to get one with more support soon,’ she thought, wishing that if it was going to be uncomfortably tight, it would at least bounce less. What was her current size, a DD cup? Maybe she’d have to borrow Aile’s, she was definitely bigger than her by now, and, she thought with irritation, didn’t seem to be doing anything with it right now.
She stopped the treadmill, gasping for breath and deciding that was enough for now, almost doubling over as beads of sweat slid down the slope of her belly, Ashe able to feel each drop against her taut skin. Running on a treadmill bored her anyway, but as she had gotten bigger she had been sternly warned by the commander of the ship that she was to minimise any activities that might lead to her accidentally tripping, Aile unfortunately taking her side and forcing her to stick to the Guardian HQ’s facilities. On top of the boredom, Ashe hardly felt that the treadmill was any better. If she ran too fast she bumped her belly into the console, and if she ran too slowly, she’d fall over anyway. Trying to figure out how to best carry herself had been a challenge in and of itself, and one that would only get harder as the months passed.
Still, it kept her consistent, which was important for keeping her fitness in her maternal months. Ashe was well aware of the concept of baby weight, and with over twenty babies in her, the threat was exponentially higher. She had woken up one morning after a vision of herself with pregnancy pounds multiplied twentyfold, and had eagerly written up a strict workout schedule to assure that her physique never slipped. Now if only a certain somebody was taking it as seriously as she was…
‘Well, that’s her problem,’ Ashe mentally grumbled as she drained almost her entire bottle of water over a jog that wouldn’t have even gotten her sweating a few months ago, eager to take a load off and go do some light weights and some stretching. But before that, there was another discomfort that Ashe was eager to do away with, reaching down to her shorts and popping open the button, gasping in relief as she let her belly out. She rubbed the tender underside with a smile, glad to let her rapidly growing orb have some room to breathe. She’d have to get a new pair of shorts, or at least something significantly stretchier. Already, she was scraping the back of her wardrobe for clothing to wear, running out of options faster than she could replace them. A pair of shorts, for example, would have to suffice for an intense workout. Lest she be forced to go bottomless.
She might have been sitting on a gigantic stack of zenny, but she was starting to feel like half of it would be spent on replacing her wardrobe every other week by the time this was over.
Half an hour later Ashe was done, feeling as limber as she could possibly be and ready to go take a nice long shower. Her towel hanging around her neck, Ashe wandered down the ship’s hallway in the early morning, the other Guardians giving her a wide berth as she, despite her best efforts to keep a dignified posture, waddled past them, unable to resist the urge to cradle her heavy belly and validate their attitudes towards her, which had gotten obnoxiously kind and supportive lately. Always asking if there was something they could do for her, or telling her to take it easy, or asking about her condition and how she was feeling today… Fiercely independent as always, Ashe couldn’t stand it. Sure, she had a big ball full of babies sticking out of her that made things she considered trivial to now be trials, got weird cravings, and occasionally had wild mood swings that made her go from angrily rejecting their offers and saying it was no big deal one second to blubbering about how she was trying really hard and it wasn’t as easy as it looked the next, but she could take care of herself!
Ashe was just looking forward to that shower when she turned a corner to nearly bump belly-to-belly with none other than Aile, who was about to apologise when she let out a sleepy yawn, her eyes still half-lidded as she smiled at Ashe. In contrast to Ashe who was fully dressed and had already had a full morning, Aile was still wearing her baby-blue pajamas, her long thin ponytail undone and her hair messy while her similarly sized belly stuck out mostly uncovered, her pajama top draped over it while a single button contained her bountiful cleavage.
“Morning, Ashe.” Aile said, rubbing her eyes as Ashe pressed her belly against hers in an unsuccessful attempt to lean over their mutual bumps.
“You missed training again.” Ashe said accusingly, Aile laughing nervously and rubbing the back of her head.
“Sorry, I kind of overslept today.” Aile said guiltily. “I’d do it now but I'm really hungry, so maybe after breakfast we can…”
“This is the fourth time this week, Aile.” Ashe crossed her arms, her bust pushed up as she squished against her forearms. “And today is Thursday!”
“You’re the one who says we have to do it first thing in the morning!” Aile complained.
“It’s a good habit to get into!” Ashe said authoritatively.
“I’ll make up for it tomorrow, okay? Now just let me, just let me through-” Aile complained, trying to sidestep Ashe who continued to use her huge belly to block Aile’s path.
“Being pregnant is no excuse to slack off. If you let it get ahead of you now, just imagine where you’ll be in another three months!” Ashe began to lecture her, mostly for her own validation. It just didn’t feel fair that Aile was taking things at her own pace when she was trying so hard.
“I promise I’m gonna stay in shape, okay? Missing a few days isn’t the end of the world.” Aile said defensively, really wanting to just make it to the ship’s cafeteria and get a nice stack of pancakes to kickstart her day. Sure, she wanted to stay in shape despite her slacking, but Ashe should really be more sympathetic, seeing as they were both going through the same thing.
Meanwhile, Ashe was thinking the exact same thing. It wasn’t fair that she was trying so hard and Aile was just taking it easy…
“That’s right!”
A forceful, earnest voice echoed down the hallway, Ashe preemptively biting her lip in annoyance as a certain somebody turned a corner, a flash of pink announcing the arrival of Prairie, the commander of the Guardians and the self-appointed caretaker of the two, much to Ashe’s chagrin.
“There’s no need at all to strain yourself so early in the morning.” Prairie continued, marching right up to Aile and holding her hand in a show of support. “A light jog in the afternoon when you’re ready is more than enough. Besides, you need energy to start the day and nutrition for your babies! Having breakfast first is only sensible.”
“The way you’re feeding her she’s got plenty left over from dinner.” Ashe scoffed, recalling Prairie’s lavish mealtimes, constantly stacking Aile’s plates high and leaving Ashe’s stomach growling in jealousy as she restricted herself to her recommended intake from the nurses. It wasn’t that she was undereating, but more than she felt like if she indulged herself, she’d never stop eating in the first place.
“I’m sure it’ll work out, eating for twenty-six.” Aile smiled, rubbing her belly. “I’ll join you in the afternoon if you really want me to, okay?”
“I had plans today. You know, a life besides sitting around watching myself get bigger.” Ashe crossed her arms irritably. “That’s why I did it in the morning to begin with!”
“Once a day is more than enough anyway.” Prairie chimed in. “Any more and you might strain yourself! You should be thinking about your babies first. If you really want to exercise, you can do some walking on the treadmill and some yoga, under my supervision of course-”
“I’ll get more of a workout walking around town than anything with you.” Ashe turned up her nose at Prairie, the reploid girl giving her a look as if she were merely a disobedient child.
“I’ll just do it on my own okay?” Aile shrugged, Ashe privately thinking that she’d probably not end up going at all without her around to babysit her.
There was a deep growling from Aile’s stomach, the girl smiling sheepishly. “Look, I’m getting really hungry, maybe we can talk about this over some-”
“Forget it!” Ashe stamped her foot and gave up, swinging her belly around and stomping off, knowing that it was a lost cause with Prairie around. She stopped just before turning off into her room, glaring back at Aile.
“If you don’t work out, you’re going to get fat.” Ashe said, a jab that hit Aile hard.
“I’m not gonna get fat.” Aile mumbled. Her cheeks were looking a bit chubby lately, and her usually toned arms were rather soft, and she was only getting hungrier as she got bigger…
“It’s normal to put on a little weight during a pregnancy.” Prairie reassured her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. In Prairie’s opinion, Aile looked cute when she was a little chubby. If she were to say, due to some reason Prairie wouldn’t know anything about, go from a little chubby to a lot chubby, she was sure that she’d only look cuter. “Now, let’s go get you something to eat…”
A few minutes later, Aile was firmly planted in her seat in the cafeteria, some of the other Guardians chatting at the other tables while she squirmed slightly, obviously concerned about something. Her look of anxiousness intensified when Prairie returned with a sky-high stack of pancakes dripping with syrup, Prairie looking jubilant as she planted it down before the drooling mother.
“I made extra since you looked extra hungry!” Prairie beamed, before concern crossed her face. “What’s wrong? You aren’t feeling ill, are you? Is your seat uncomfortable?”
“No, that’s not it.” Aile hurried to correct her. “It’s just… Prairie, am I getting fat?”
Prairie’s face briefly flickered with annoyance. That Ashe, getting Aile all worried and self-conscious when she was in such fragile condition! Stress was absolutely the last thing a pregnant woman needed, and the last thing she’d allow Aile to experience until every last one of those babies were out of her!
“So what if you’re getting a little plump?” Prairie said, challenging Aile’s worries. “What’s wrong with that, huh? Do you think anybody will care?”
“Well…” Aile thought about it. “Not really, but…”
“It’s not like you’ll be doing anything that you need to be in perfect shape for, right? You won’t be jumping around or running marathons, will you?”
“No, but-”
“Then what’s the point in worrying about it?” Prairie said confidently. “You saw Rose’s projections, you’re going to get huge no matter what you do! I bet nobody will even notice.”
Aile thought it over for another minute, and then slowly relaxed, picking up her knife and fork and carving out a huge chunk of the pancakes, hardly hesitating before giving into her immense cravings, instantly caving as she tried to fit as much into her as possible as quickly as possible. It was just her and the occasional noise of pure pleasure.
“You know, maybe I was worrying about it a little too much.” Aile sighed as she slouched back in her chair, melting in her seat as she enjoyed her pancakes. “You know me, I’ll bounce right back. And to be honest, my babies are getting so hungry I’ll probably start losing weight!”
“Exactly! You don’t have to worry about a thing.” Prairie insisted. “Can I get you anything else? Oh, I should get you some juice, you need to keep your fluids up!”
“Thanks Prairie, you’re the best.” Aile smiled, melting Prairie’s heart with her radiant maternal glow and reassuring her that everything she had done was exactly what she needed to. Aile had done so much for her and put herself in danger so many times, now it was her turn to pay her back when she was at her most fragile and helpless…. Ashe was the one just being stubborn by refusing her help, she was sure that she’d see that she was pushing herself too hard soon…
–
“Come on Ashe, one foot after the other…” Ashe panted under the hot summer sun as she lumbered along the sidewalk, sweat dripping from her face as her cheeks flushed red, an immense weight hanging from her abdomen as she walked through the city, resisting the urge to cradle her gargantuan belly in her arms and instead try look like she was naturally carrying herself relatively easily. Her eyes flickered around to the bystanders glued to her, some outright stopping in their tracks as she waddled past them, and the more they outright gawked at them, the more she was determined to act like it was no big deal, unaware that the more she struggled and strained, the more attention she got.
Ashe had swollen immensely in the last three months, exceeding even the projections she had been given, and was now carrying a belly that felt almost as long as she was tall that she had no hopes of wrapping her arms around no matter how much maternity yoga she put herself through. It swayed slightly, Ashe always feeling like she could fit herself inside it and have plenty of room to stretch her legs, and stretch their legs her babies did, as she was starting to feel the occasional bump and flutter, which got her heart racing no matter how much she tried to tell herself that she was just a carrying case for somebody else’s babies. She had given up on shorts, wearing just a bodysuit and top to reduce the burden of dressing herself, much like she usually dressed in the first place. But there was another reason for shorts, and it was to do with the effects of her huge pregnancy on her body and how it was changing her beyond simply blowing her up like a balloon: her ass and thighs had plumpened significantly, Ashe’s bubble butt being enough to turn heads on its own as it filled out to twice its original size and thrice its softness, with broad hips spread wider than her shoulders to compliment it, and thighs that would have rubbed together were her legs not forced apart by her awkward waddle.
To make matters worse were her milky breasts, swollen to almost the size of her head and starting to need to be occasionally milked. Even now she was starting to fret about the stimulation they were getting, her nipples rubbing against her thick maternity bra as her whole body dripped with sweat. Luckily her heavy breasts could at least sag down and rest on her belly, but that only made said belly even heavier. Her attempts to act like her off-duty life had hardly changed backfired tremendously, most of the residents being well aware of the enormously pregnant lady who wandered around for her mid-day walks, snapping at anybody who offered their help crossing the road or climbing small steps. Ashe had remained in shape as she had planned, but her toned muscles were no match for the burden her pregnancy had placed on her. Sometimes she wondered if she should even have bothered in the first place, then tried to console herself by saying she probably wouldn’t be walking around embarrassing herself in the first place if she had let herself slip like Aile, who hadn’t so much as gone for a jog in two months.
“Okay, that’s good enough.” Ashe told herself when she spotted a public bench, her mind instantly conjuring up ten good reasons to take a break and immediately planting her big butt down on it, sighing in relief as the burden was taken off her poor legs for at least another few minutes. She stretched her back, groaning appreciatively before she opened her eyes again, looking down to settle on a very curious looking young girl who was transfixed by her enormity, standing right in front of her with her mouth agape.
“What’re you lookin’ at?” Ashe said in her usual grumpy tone, the girl jolted back to awareness and scurrying off. She didn’t blame her for getting distracted, but hopefully nobody else would bother her until she was ready to-
“Miss Ashe, is that you?”
“Oh great.” Ashe groaned again as a familiar redhead gasped, looking over her huge chest to see a certain socialite daintily dashing towards her, stars in her eyes as she rushed over Ashe’s body as far as her high-heeled feet could take her. Her hands reached Ashe before anything else did, Beatrice placing her hands gingerly upon Ashe’’s baby belly, rubbing it up and down as Ashe made a few very undignified noises.
“It is you, and you’re so big! Oh, you’re looking simply splendid!” Beatrice gushed and giggled, her hands stroking her all over with zero restraint.
“Hey, quit it, don’t touch th-aaahhh~...” Ashe was helpless before the woman, trying not to show how much she was enjoying her belly rubs as Beatrice caressed every inch of covered skin before eventually flat out hugging it, even more rosy-cheeked than Ashe herself.
“Oh, my babies are getting so big, aren’t they?” She sighed, Ashe having to remind herself that they were all hers, and that even as she moaned and groaned about it, Beatrice must have been counting the days towards her due date even more than she was. “I’m sure that a beautiful mother like you will make the most beautiful babies too…”
“Hey, they might take after your husband instead, don’t get your hopes up.” Ashe laughed with a blush. Hopefully there wouldn’t be anybody asking why there were so many kids around who looked like her in ten years…
“Oh, that wouldn’t be so bad either, he’s quite handsome you know…” Beatrice giggled, Ashe envying how stress-free the pregnancy was for her. Well, the stressful part was then raising them into adulthood, Ashe technically had the easiest part.
“Anyway, try not to get so excited, okay?” Ashe said, peeling Beatrice off her belly and sliding over to make room for her on the bench. Beatrice insisted on leaning against her anyway, Ashe feeling the sides of her bountiful breasts squish against the by-normal-standards busty woman as she nuzzled up against her. “We’ve been sending you progress updates after all.”
“But it’s not the same as seeing you in person!” Beatrice insisted. “By the way, where’s Miss Aile? From what I’ve heard, she’s not exactly out and about like you these days.”
“You’d be right, she doesn’t exactly have a passion for walks like I do.” Ashe scowled, her mood turning stormy again. “I warned her that she’d end up like this, and she doesn’t even care.”
“And here I thought you two would look like peas in a pod by now.” Beatrice sighed, mostly just disappointed that she didn’t get to see the two together and fawn over their pregnancies at the same time. “Instead she’s looking rather… motherly? A bit on the plump side, I might say.”
“No need to sugar-coat it, she’s not here.” Ashe laughed ruefully. “Trust me, you couldn’t drag her out of that ship if you tied a rope to her and started pulling. Our commander would just cut the rope if you tried.”
“And she seemed like such a sporty type too.” Beatrice said contemplatively. “To be honest, when I saw you two I thought you would be the one to put on some baby weight… Hmm? Did I say something wrong?”
Beatrice looked wide-eyed and clueless at Ashe’s pout.
“Well, I’d better get back. Any longer and the commander’ll start getting on my case.” Ashe said, squirming and hoping to escape Beatrice’s clutches before she got too used to her skinship. Any more of this and she might start to get addicted…
“Do you need any help getting up?” Beatrice asked, Ashe shaking her head.
“Nope, I’m fine, I can…” Ashe grunted, her legs wobbling as she tried to push herself upright. Her hand slipped on the polished wood, causing her to accidentally settle back onto her plush behind. In a moment of weakness, she looked up helplessly at Beatrice, and before she knew it, her hands had been taken by the dainty woman and she had been humiliatingly put back on her feet.
“I think I’ll call my driver.” Beatrice decided, Ashe suddenly flashing back to Prairie lecturing her that if she skimped on breakfast she wouldn’t have enough energy to get through the day…
–
“Welcome back. You were gone longer than you said.” Prairie said, waiting in the transporter room to greet Ashe and potentially offer her assistance if she finally managed to catch Ashe in a moment of vulnerability. To her disappointment Ashe seemed steady on her feet, having recovered thanks to being driven back instead of having to walk, where she surely would have staggered in totally exhausted. To say that Ashe and Prairie had an antagonistic relationship would have been perhaps not totally inaccurate, but it was mostly antagonistic from Ashe’s perspective, while Prairie was waiting eagerly for her to finally ask for her help. It had turned into a game of one upmanship, with Ashe refusing even the most basic of assistance with her pregnancy when she could avoid it, and particularly not from Prairie, who had Aile relying on her for nearly every facet of her life by now. And when Ashe saw Aile, she most certainly didn’t want to end up like her.
“I was just taking it easy like you wanted.” Ashe said back in a challenging tone. “Of course, I don’t get worn out so easily.”
“If you act like that, you’ll end up-”
“Hurting myself and my babies, yeah, yeah, I know.” Ashe waved her hand dismissively, the other under her belly trying to relieve some of the weight, eager to make it back to her room for an afternoon nap. “I’m just going out for some fresh air.”
“As long as you’re taking care of yourself.” Prairie settled for her usual compromise. She insisted on accompanying Ashe back to her room, the two gently bickering as usual on the way back, until to both’s surprise, they ran almost belly-first into Aile. As tired as she was, Ashe immediately felt validated in her efforts when she looked at Aile, or more specifically, how much of Aile there was to go around. While Ashe had devoted herself to her training without missing more than a day or two in six months, Aile had completely slipped, Prairie constantly indulging her bad habits and coaxing her into lighter and lighter exercise until she hardly did more walking than to the cafeteria and back or the nurse’s office for some routine checkups as scheduled by Prairie.
Prairie was more than happy to completely take care of Aile for her, bringing her everything she could possibly want and leaving her with no real reason to leave her room most of the time, even bringing her breakfast in bed, then lunch on the sofa while she whiled away the days watching TV or reading, and then often arranged dinner over a movie between the two of them, not to mention snacks between all of those. She even took care of replacing Aile’s wardrobe, a ritual that Ashe had commonly used as an excuse to go and spend some of her hard-earned money from Beatrice, although she was rapidly outgrowing the biggest specialty maternity stores had to offer short of ordering in custom-fits.
As a result, Aile was constantly eating, constantly relaxing, and hardly moving more than a handful of steps per day. Even with twenty-six babies in her she had ballooned fast, those chubby cheeks growing into a full-on second chin, her once chiselled muscles fading away and being replaced with flabby biceps thicker than a body-builder’s, and her cushiony ass turning into full-on pillows as she began to wobble with each step, her fat thighs constantly rubbing against each other. Even her belly, which usually would have been pushed out so far by babies as to hide any otherwise billowing gut, had a softness to it, a certain doughy quality that had drooping fat around the underside and a sizable fupa, should one manage to find it. Her greedy fingers that shovelled more food down her gullet were starting to resemble sausages, her hands softer than a baby’s as she turned herself day by day into a full-on unrepentant fatty. And the worst part about it was that she just didn’t seem to mind at all..
“Oh, Ashe, you’re back.” Aile said sleepily, Prairie leaving Ashe’s side to return to Aile’s as usual. She looked positively miniscule next to Aile, who was seemingly three times as wide as the reploid and made Ashe feel skinny whenever she stood next to her. While her hips and ass had grown engorged to an extent, Ashe had mostly grown out forwards, while Aile had grown in every direction but up, her body sagging rather than matching Ashe’s overstretched appearance.
“Aile, what’re you doing up?” Prairie asked in a doting tone that spoke volumes about the pampering she had put her through since her pregnancy started.
“I felt like going for a little walk. Anything interesting happen?” Aile asked Ashe, brushing off Prairie’s concern.
“Not really.” Ashe lied with a shrug. “Might be more fun with you around though.”
“Really? That’s not what you’ve been telling me.” Aile gave a lazy smile, her eyes half-lidded as if she had just woken up from a nap, and while she probably had, it seemed to be her default look these days. “Prairie, I’m getting kind of hungry, do you think you could go get us something to eat? ”
“Of course!” Prairie’s eyes widened slightly, realising she had gone almost fifteen minutes over her planned meal schedule for Aile, scurrying off to the kitchen. Ashe would have yelled at her to not get anything for her, but to be honest she was famished, and had probably burnt more than enough calories for the day to get away with it.
“Anything you want to chat about?” Aile asked, Ashe realising that she had sent Prairie away just to open her up. With how Prairie fluttered around her all day, it was honestly a rare occurrence.
“Well…” Ashe decided to indulge her. “I ran into Beatrice while I was out. She was, well, about how you’d expect. She’s looking forward to us finally getting these brats out of us.”
“I doubt that’s how she put it. Sorry I couldn’t be there.” Aile laughed. “Did you do any shopping?”
“Can’t find anything that fits.” Ashe shrugged her shoulders. “Who’d have thought that nobody stocks for women with a bus-full of babies in them?”
“Really?” Aile tilted her head, looking genuinely surprised somehow as her cherubic cheek squished against the bulging flab of her neck “Prairie hasn’t had any trouble finding anything for me. She just bought me this cute dress the other day.”
Ashe looked down from Aile’s plus-sized face to the plus-sized dress she was wearing, a cute pink number that had Prairie’s influence all over it. Long, frilly, and girly, it was draped over Aile’s body with an ease that suggested it had been tailored specifically for her measurements, even made to keep up with her rapid growth for at least a couple of weeks. It was much better than Ashe’s top, which was already starting to tug the zipper down and force her cleavage open from how strained it was getting. However, it was something that Ashe never would have pictured Aile wearing before with her tomboyish sense of fashion… although then again, she never could have pictured her getting fat either, let alone outright obese.
“Well, I haven’t been having her luck.” Ashe decided to politely phrase it.
“I know, you should get her to get one for you.” Aile smiled and pressed her hands together, her tone gentle and lethargic, like she was saying whatever popped into her head. “I bet you’d look really cute in one.”
“Pink’s not really my colour.” Ashe excused herself with a hidden shudder. She’d just die if she wore something as frilly as that. “And besides, I thought you said you weren’t really into dresses?”
“Well, I thought I wasn’t, but Prairie asked me to try some on and they’re actually really comfy.” Aile said, swishing it slightly as she gyrated her belly back and forth for a moment, her huge breasts bouncing slightly with them. “And they’re really easy to wear too, shorts are so hard to get on these days. I think I might have to start wearing them more often once this is all over.”
“You won’t have time to dress up with how much exercise you’re gonna have to do to work off that weight.” Ashe poked her in the belly, finding that instead of the taut surface that she felt when she touched her own, there was much more give to it than she had expected, a soft, plush layer over her womb. but Aile didn’t seem to mind at all.
“I’ve decided not to worry about it, I’m sure I can burn it off when the time comes. Until then, it is what it is.” Aile brushed the issue aside shamelessly. “It’s actually kind of comfy, and I don’t feel bad about eating whatever I want. You should stop worrying about it too!”
“We’ll agree to disagree.” Ashe said politely but firmly. “Besides, I like being able to do whatever I want no matter how much of a blimp I’m turning into, unlike you and your… actually, what is it you do all day anyway? Besides sleep and eat, anyway.”
“Well, Prairie’s been introducing me to a lot of fun things.” Aile thought about it slowly. “She’s been showing me how to put on makeup, which I thought I didn’t like, but I actually look really pretty with it on.”
Now that Ashe looked at her, she realised that Aile had been looking unusually vibrant, and not just because of her maternal glow. She had a tasteful layer of makeup on, ranging from lipstick to eyeshadow. It looked like she had been doing her hair too, which had gotten much longer and fluffier since she got pregnant, her thin ponytail turning into a broad, bushy mane that enveloped her shoulders and looked immaculately brushed.
“Maybe we can get together and I can show you how to do your nails! Prairie has your favourite colours, I checked!” Aile suggested enthusiastically, holding up her red painted nails. “And there’s this drama that Prairie recommended, it’s a romance about-”
“Maybe some other time.” Ashe recoiled slightly. Prairie this, Prairie that… Thank god she had kept her distance and not given in. Aile looked a little disappointed, but also like it would take a lot for anything to really bother her right now. She just reset to her sleepy, happy glow after a few seconds.
“Maybe another time then, when you can’t really walk anymore. Prairie says we should know how to have fun indoors for when we…” She said, trailing off as Ashe shot her a dirty glare. “I mean, when you can’t go for long walks anymore! That’s what I meant. I’m sure you’ll be able to walk a little…”
“We’re not gonna get that big!” Ashe turned away in a huff, muttering as she waddled off. “When did you turn into such a girly girl, anyway?”
“What was that?” Aile cocked her head again. “I couldn’t hear you.”
“Nothing!”
–
“One… two… one… two…”
Ashe wheezed as she positively poured with sweat, trying to stop her legs from buckling as she took slow, deliberate steps on the treadmill turned down nearly as low as it could go, her belly pressed firmly against the monitor at the end with her unable to stand back any further without falling off. It was, without exaggeration, as long as she was tall. Thirty-eight weeks into her pregnancy and counting the days until her due date, a speed barely faster than a crawl was the best she could muster, the mere act of standing proving to be a worthy workout for her. Bright red in the face and with her breathing ragged, it was only Ashe’s stubborn pride that kept her going, her arms desperately trying to relieve the weight of her melon-sized breasts packed on top of her colossal belly. She had given up on a top entirely, wearing only her overstretched bodysuit by this point.
“Are you okay? We can turn it down more.” Prairie said from over her shoulder, sounding obviously concerned. Although Ashe refused to admit it out loud, Prairie had been completely justified in making the executive decision to not let Ashe out of her sight while using the gym this late in her pregnancy lest she hurt herself, and had made a similarly correct call to determine the speed of Ashe’s treadmill. If Ashe capsized, she wasn’t sure she could get back up without her help.
“Shut up! I can keep going” Ashe gasped, desperate to focus on nothing but keeping her legs moving. Her hormones driving her off the wall on top of the stress of carrying twenty-four nearly fully grown babies, causing her to nearly scream at anybody who got on her nerves, although she just barely managed to contain hurling any abuse. She was a pent-up stressed out bundle of nerves, desperate to finally push out those babies and return to normality. She groaned as her belly was barraged by a wave of bumps, her impatient brood refusing to settle down. Just as she was reaching her limit, the mechanical whir of the treadmill’s belt ceased, Ashe gasping and doubling over, her giant belly pressing against the belt.
“That’s more than enough for today,” Prairie said firmly, taking her hand and helping her off the machine before glancing back at the timer, which read that all in all, she had been on it for less than five minutes. “And I’m barring you from any use of the gym’s facilities. If you want to exercise, I’m happy to supervise some stretches…”
Normally, there would have been a glare and an aggressive comeback from Ashe. An accusation that Prairie didn’t believe that she could take care of herself, a snippy stand-off. Today, there would be no such thing. Ashe was too worn out, too exhausted from her meagre workout to even consider contradicting the commander. While she’d never allow herself to be babied like Aile, there was no longer any room for debate, and even with her hormones making her emotional, Ashe had significantly simmered down knowing that if she put up too much of a fight, Prairie wouldn’t give her the option to resist. And even she wouldn’t be able to argue that it wasn’t for her own good…
“Let me just warm down for now.” Ashe said meekly as she towelled her sweaty face down, her legs wobbling from carrying her litter for too long, sinking down onto her huge plush rump that had resisted any attempts for her to shed the baby weight, deemed a lost cause months earlier as her hips widened for the incredible childbirth that awaited her. She instantly felt stark relief, her legs spread by the enormity of her belly that went on far further than her legs could reach, but still she felt the incredible weight of her brood no matter what position she put herself in.
Prairie removed her coat and sat down next to her, presenting a simple yoga position to help her stretch her tired legs, Ashe awkwardly shuffling to try to imitate it, her thighs more than twice as thick as Prairie’s. She felt like the petite Prairie could have laid down next to her and had the length of her belly reach from head to toe. After nearly ten minutes of light exercises that hardly involved moving her belly so much as shifting her body around it they took a break, Ashe still sweating from the effort and lying on her side, unable to even lift it long enough to put herself on her back, when she began to feel her belly be stroked in a wide, soothing massage, Ashe involuntarily cooing as Prairie began to rub her tender sphere in just the right places, the taut, stretched skin extra sensitive as her babies occasionally kicked back, causing her hand to glide across momentary lumps.
“Aile always likes it when I do this.” Prairie smiled, Ashe blushing and unsuccessfully trying to wriggle away. Prairie noticed and lifted her hand, Ashe freezing and trying to hide her face behind her melon-sized bust.
“I didn’t say stop.” Ashe mumbled, almost burying her face in her own cleavage when Prairie giggled back at her. This was okay, Ashe decided. She had put up a good fight up until this point, she could give in just a little with only a few weeks to go. Then she’d have all of these brats out of her and Prairie wouldn’t have any sway over her. After eight months of resistance and one month of slow surrender, Ashe couldn’t give up her independent stubbornness for long.
“You should go take a shower before you have breakfast.” Prairie instructed to break the silence as she finally stopped and stood up, Ashe’s look of vulnerable contentedness vanishing as quickly as it came, the massage ending to remind her that now she had to actually lug this thing around again and wouldn’t even get any complimentary belly rubs for her effort. She bet Aile would get those if she asked for them, though…
“I was gonna do that anyway, don’t tell me what to do.” Ashe complained, feeling obligated to not let Prairie feel like she was gaining too much ground. Now that she could barely walk, arguing with Prairie was practically the only thing she had to look forward to. Prairie simply shrugged and went to leave the room, only to turn back to a bright red Ashe who was still on the floor.
“Um, I could use some help getting up…” The helpless Ashe admitted, holding up her hands pleadingly…

Meanwhile, in her cosy corner of the HQ, Aile slowly drifted out of dreamland and back into the world of the waking. She’d been having a rather pleasant dream, although she couldn’t quite remember most of it. Something about her being skinny again, taking care of an enormously pregnant Prairie, who was crammed in her commander’s chair trying to give orders despite not being able to see past her own breasts and belly. Her lips curled into a slight smile as she strained to remember more of the adorable image, but already it was gone. She wished that she could remember it, if only to recall what it was like to be light, which now felt like a memory as distant as that dream.
Laying on her back with a belly reaching as high as anybody who might visit her, and obese baby-bearing hips precariously close to spilling out over the sides of her queen-sized bed, it was hard to believe that the morbidly obese mother had less than a year earlier been in the peak of physical health, able to run marathons without losing her breath and able to climb up buildings with powerful jumps. Now she couldn’t have even hopped if she tried, and moving at faster than a gentle waddle was a foreign concept, let alone doing something absurd as trying to run in her current state, as Prairie had warned her she might strain herself. Of course, Aile didn’t feel any regret or sense of longing for things like running and jumping. Why would she? She was pregnant, and it was her job to take care of herself and her babies. She could worry about all of those silly things later.
Aile yawned, her second chin flexing as she scratched her cheek, her sausage-like digits gently sinking into her flesh as even slightly stroking it caused an obvious indent. Her fingers were too fat to fit into the trigger-guard of her once reliable gun had she tried to use it, a thought that not once occurred to her in the last six months as she truly plumped up, as violence was the furthest thing from her mind. She shifted slightly, sunken deep into her mattress thanks to her immense weight, tugging up her blanket to cover her engorged cleavage, two prize melons twice, perhaps even three times the size of her head and bigger than her extra-fluffy pillows. Then, without a second thought, Aile closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
She was woken again by a pleasant massage, Aile purring appreciatively as her belly was stroked through her pink pajamas, looking up with a smile to see Prairie waking her as usual, her alarm gathering dust as she simply slept in every day until Prairie decided that it was time for her to get up. Were it not for her getting hungry, Aile might have slept through the entire day, the weight of her own body enough to tucker her out without even moving. Aile’s eyes were half-lidded, rarely opening wider these days, yawning again as Prairie let go of her belly.
“‘Morning, Prairie.” Aile mumbled, then closed her eyes again, ready for her next nap. She made a vague whining sound as Prairie pulled back her blankets, Aile fumbling to grab it, but immediately giving up when it was out of her immediate arm’s reach.
“Good morning, Aile. Did you sleep well?” Prairie smiled, thinking that Aile was just as cute as ever as she looked down at the blobby baby-bearing mother-to-be.
“Mmm. Where’s breakfast?” Aile said expectantly,, being served in bed most days of the week. It was obvious that she had slept well as she always did, and her mind was on more primal matters, such as the fact that she was now awake enough to feel her stomach rumbling. Normally by the time she opened her eyes Prairie had a delicious, sugary breakfast ready for her to wake her up…
“You’ll be having lunch in the cafeteria today.” Prairie stated gently, Aile pouting petulantly.
“But that’s so faaaaar.” Aile whined, the walk from her room to said cafeteria being no more than thirty metres.
“It’s important for you to get your exercise.” Prairie said “firmly”, a tone so subtle that most wouldn’t have even noticed the difference, but one that told Aile that there was no room for argument. Not that she ever would want to argue with Prairie. She knew best, after all. “Now, let’s get you-”
Before Prairie could finish, she noticed two damp spots appearing over Aile’s chest, seeping through her pajamas.
“Oh no, you’re leaking again!” Prairie gasped, treating every minor inconvenience in Aile’s life as a serious issue. “We’re going to have to get you milked before you eat. Let’s get you up and over to the milking machine.”
“Can’t we just do it here?” Aile asked lazily. “I can use the portable milker and you can go bring me breakfast!”
“I won’t have you eating in wet clothes. And besides, you know you’ve outgrown the portable machine.” Prairie said sternly, Aile smiling sheepishly with a tinge of pride as if it were some achievement, all the while the stains began to darken, Aile’s milk production requiring her to milk herself several times a day. If left unchecked, it would turn from a few drops to a serious trickle, and an untended Aile had been caught a couple of time suckling on her own teats to stem the flow rather than stand up and take the arduous trip of almost a minute of walking over to the bathroom where the milking machines for her and Ashe were set up. Prairie softened, knowing that Aile was too sedentary for the threat of her milk to be enough to get her to move alone. Who’s fault was that, anyway?
“Why don’t you take a nice hot bath while you’re there?” Prairie suggested, Aile’s sleepy eyes lighting up a little.
“Good idea!” Aile said, holding out her hand for Prairie to help pull her upright, then gently help her to her feet. If Prairie were a human she would have gone red in the face straining to pull Aile up, but as a reploid she was able to keep a straight face just long enough to get Aile on her feet without losing her composure. Dwarfing Prairie, Aile’s entire body shook and jiggled in her pink pajamas as she waddled to the door, her hip-length hair trailing behind her. Aile walked the rest of the way herself once she was out of the room, dominating most of the hallway with her bulk and forcing a passing Rose to press herself against a wall with a blush as Aile smiled and greeted her, lumbering past to the bathroom.
Aile noticed that somebody was already in the shower by the sound of the flowing water when she entered the room, a large, open, communal bathing area with showers in one corner and two particularly large baths as the spotlight, a normal one and a bubbling spa that Aile was already looking forward to soaking in. She tugged her pajamas over her head and shook her hair free, the pink top looking like a parachute with how much fabric was required to fit over her body, dropping her similarly spacious pants. While she neatly folded the top using her belly as a tray, the act of crouching down to pick up her pants was too much for a woman as heavy as her, and so they were unceremoniously kicked off into a corner for Prairie to retrieve later. By now her breasts were truly leaking, milk dripping down her belly, and it was time to get in.
With her sagging flab exposed for the world to see, Aile carefully settled down into the water with a deeply appreciative sigh, her fat ass flattening against the bottom of the steaming spa while the top of her belly peeked out over the top of the water, Aile simply too large to fit anything above her nipples into the water, even after deepening it. She was about to reach for the cups on the milking machine placed near the spa when she noticed that it was, perhaps unsurprisingly, Ashe in the shower, currently scrubbing her own long hair.
“Morning, Ashe.” Aile said sleepily as ever, waving happily towards Ashe, who finished washing the shampoo out of her hair and looked back at her with a decidedly less content expression on her face.
“‘Morning.” Ashe said grumpily, grunting slightly as her belly was hit with a chorus of kicks while she was trying to rub it down with soap.
“Would you like any help with that?” Aile asked, watching Ashe struggle to reach the end of her belly.
“I’m fine.” Ashe said, giving up on certain parts and relying on the water to send the soap dripping down it, moving onto soaping up her own immense mammaries. “Besides, there’s no way in hell we could both fit in here.”
“That’s true.” Aile giggled. “It’s always a tight fit when Prairie helps me wash.”
“You can’t do anything yourself, can you?” Ashe said quietly, but not quietly enough.
“What was that?” Aile asked as she prepared to attach the milking cups to her breasts, Ashe rolling her eyes.
“Nothing.” She said, turning off the faucet. “Just thinking about how easy you have it.”
“I don’t think I have it that easy.” Aile said in an astonishing lack of self-awareness that nearly floored Ashe then and there. “I think you’ve just been making things too hard for yourself.”
“What, by staying in shape?” Ashe asked, narrowing her eyes a little, matching Aile’s tendency to never quite fully open her eyes these days. “By not turning into a total blob like you?”
“I told you, I’m not worrying about that until after the babies are born.” Aile brushed it aside without a care in the world as the machine started. “And besides, does it matter if I’m a little overweight? That just means that the babies are getting plenty of nutrition, and it’s not like I’m running around anyway.”
“You’ll be wishing you were me once you don’t have twenty-six little excuses in you.” Ashe proclaimed.
“Well, what were you able to do that I couldn’t?” Aile asked.
“For starters, instead of sitting around all day, I could go into town and…” Ashe started, then hesitated slightly. What had she actually done on her excursions into the city once she entered her second trimester and started to really get heavy and huge, anyway? It was like she had gone and wandered around just to prove that she could. “...you know, go shopping, try on some new clothes, get something to eat.”
“You could have just asked Prairie to do it for you.” Aile pointed out, reclining as milk began to fill the cups. “Prairie was always helping me try on new clothes, and sometimes she brought home something to eat.”
“Yeah, well, it’s not the same as doing it yourself.” Ashe said weakly. “It’s about the experience, you know? I’d just get bored ”
“Mmm.” Aile sounded unconvinced. Perhaps Ashe had just wanted a partner to try on clothes with… but couldn’t she have gotten Prairie to do that with her too? Seemingly agitated by the mention of food, Aile’s stomach let out a rumble so loud Ashe could hear it, Aile squirming uncomfortably, looking almost pained.
“What’s the matter, didn’t have time to eat breakfast?” Ashe smirked.
“N-no, I just slept through my alarm clock, and Prairie didn’t wake me up.” Aile mumbled.
“Really? What a shame.” Ashe said smugly, rubbing her belly in a circular motion. “I woke up on time and got to have a big breakfast and had time to get a workout in.”
“Prairie usually brings me something to eat before I have a bath!” Aile whined, her stomach groaning again.
“Get it yourself then next time if you’re so hungry.”
“But it was so far, and I was still sleepy, I shouldn’t have to.” Aile pouted pathetically. Right, she was so hungry she wasn’t sure she’d have the strength to stand up! Like a beached whale she sat there, unsure of what to do. She didn’t actually have a plan for getting back up, she had simply intended to soak until she was done milking herself and Prairie came to help her up. Maybe Ashe was right, and she should have-
Before Aile could finish that thought, the door to the bathroom slid open, and a delicious smell wafted in over the scent of soap, Ashe nearly groaning louder than Aile’s greedy belly at the cheerful pink figure and the syrup-coated plate of pancakes that she carried.
“I thought you’d be hungry, so I brought a snack!” Prairie said brightly, oblivious to the two’s back and forth. Aile’s heart soared while Ashe’s sank, watching in disbelief as Prairie went over and crouched down next to her obese charge to feed her herself.
“This is a bathroom, you know!” Ashe called, watching Aile hum happily and almost visibly glow as enough pancakes to feed a family were carefully cut up and fed to her as a pre-meal snack.
“Which means there’s no need to worry about a mess!” Aile said optimistically between mouthfuls, devouring the plump pancakes and practically putting on another pound then and there. No matter how fluffy and sugary the treats Aile ate around the clock got, they could never be as fluffy as the obese arms jiggling slightly as Prairie passed her the knife and fork to do the deed even faster.
“Are you okay? You aren’t still hungry, are you? Is there anything else I can get you?” Prairie asked like a mother doting on her child, Aile shaking her head politely.
“No, I can wait until breakfast.” She said, Prairie taking a moment to collect and fold her pajamas before taking the cleaned out plate back.
“Alright, I’ll finish getting ready, and after that we’ll finish the next season of that show we were watching last night.” Prairie said, Ashe recalling seeing the two snuggled up next to each other on a sofa whiling away the day on some sappy romantic drama, Prairie squashed in a corner by Aile’s ass and hips consuming most of the sitting space. “I’ll be back to help you get dressed in a minute!”
“Okay, see you in a bit!” Aile smiled, having already completely forgotten any sort of lesson she might have learned from the experience.
“Anything I can get you?” Prairie looked at Ashe and offered.
“Not a thing.” Ashe sighed, giving up on the two.
“I see.” Prairie nodded. “By the way, you’re leaking. Would you like me to help set you up?”
Ashe glanced down at her now lactating breasts and sighed at the white droplets mixed in with the clear ones, nodding reluctantly and waddling out of the shower and over to the bath where Aile was reclining. She carefully set herself down in the spa next to her, unable to hide her look of bliss as the bubbling water soothed her and her tired legs. She blushed as she noticed Aile smiling at her, wriggling her plump rump to try to settle herself in a little deeper. The two sat in opposite corners, Ashe fearing that between her expanded hips and Aile’s obesity, they might get stuck pressed against each other if they were on the same side. Prairie took the second set of hoses from the machine and pressed the cups over Ashe’s nipples, bidding the two farewell as Ashe bit her lip and settled in as it began to pump it all out of her.
After a while, Aile reached over to a bucket next to her that Ashe assumed was filled with cleaning supplies, but pulled out something she didn’t recognise. Her hand took it, went under her belly, and then Aile started to turn red, and not just from the steam. She gasped a little, and Ashe stared over at her face that could only be read as lustful.
“Wait, is that a-” Ashe looked mortified as she heard a slight vibrating whir from under the water, Aile’s cups splattered with milk as she began to purr slightly.
“Prairie, mmh, bought me this, it’s my, aah, favourite toy…!” Aile looked absolutely shameless as she briefly pulled up what was obviously a vibrator, the phallic end causing Ashe to go even redder than AIle before it disappeared below the water again. “She said it’s good for aah~ pregnant woman to relieve herself…”
“Do it when I’m not here next time!” Ashe complained, forced to wait until the pumps were done while Aile began to occasionally gasp and moan.
“What, not even going to share?” Ashe eventually said sarcastically, trying to break the silence of Aile’s pleasured noises.
“Get your own~...” Aile smiled smugly, Ashe rubbing her thighs together jealously. She’d never admit it, but maybe she did need to…
–
“One, two, one two, one two…”
Ashe puffed gently as she ticked over the thirty minute mark on the treadmill, the machine feeling positively voluminous now that she was no longer filling out the length of the machine with her own body. The once familiar sight of an enormous overstretched womb was gone, the only swollen orbs in sight being Ashe’s melon-sized breasts and gigantic jiggling bubble butt, yet she felt light as a feather, barely noticing the rhythmic jiggle of her upper and lower halves as she easily jogged onward, her jogging shorts packed tight and her hips threatening to spill over the sides of the track regardless.
And yet, all Ashe could think was how skinny she was, how svelte she was, unable to see her belly past her chest. She could walk without getting tired, run for minutes rather than seconds, sit down without having to worry if she’d be able to get back up without calling for help… It had been three weeks since she had given birth, and Ashe couldn’t have been happier as she reduced the treadmill to walking speed, feeling like she could have gone for another half an hour, but had been warned to take it easier and not strain herself. She stepped off the machine, passing by the mirror and giving her sexy extreme hourglass body a wink and a smile. Anybody else would have seen an absurdly curvy, plush-looking milf, but despite Ashe’s inability to fit into any of her old clothes without tearing them to shreds, in her mind she was practically skinnier than when she started, her transformation had been so extreme.
Ashe towelled before moving onto doing some weights, a welcome readdition to her workout regimen ever since it had been deemed off-limits in the last months of her pregnancy. As she pumped iron to restore her muscular arms, she couldn’t help but feel like no workout could compare to the experience of pushing out over twenty babies after she had gone into labour. Even with the best medical technology it had been an incredibly long and exhausting experience, not to mention the pain of it. She’d take being shot at any day over that, and yet she’d felt strangely satisfied when it was over, looking at the litter and almost deliriously wondering how those babies had managed to fit inside of her all this time. She moved onto some leg curls, her thighs pressed snugly against each other as it was made clear that nothing short of bodybuilding was going to make her legs anything other than so pillowy soft you could fall asleep in them.
Eventually Ashe was finally done, throwing her towel around her neck as she swaggered out of the gym, her hips rocking back and forth wider than her most awkward waddle, although they would have swayed sexily whether she was trying to show them off or not. Usually she would have headed straight for the shower, but she couldn’t help but make a detour. She had somebody she just couldn’t resist but show off her body to, and so it was that within seconds she had arrived at Aile’s room, swaggering in to see the mountain of a woman Aile had become.
And see Aile she did, although it depended on your definition of seeing her. Upon opening the door, two blubbery tubes of fat that could be called legs as the first thing she would see. Her calves were bloated and thicker than Aile’s hips had been prior to her immense pregnancy, leading to her thunderous thighs, which each individually were wider than Ashe’s curvy hips that threatened to bump against the sides of the doorway if she wasn’t careful. They gave way to thighs and an expansive muffin top hanging over hips that consumed most of her queen-sized bed, a light layer of cellulite visible around her seemingly unending butt and on the underside of her mountain-range of a belly adding to her jelly-like appearance. Her belly, naturally, towered over her, with sagging flab on the underside and a soft layer of fat over the whole thing, Aile seemingly as long as she was tall now that she was not only nine months pregnant, but bordering on ten, weeks past her due date, as if her babies had gotten so comfortable inside her that they refused to come out. Her bulging flesh was on full display, Aile foregoing clothing entirely at the end of her third trimester.
Once one managed to drag their eyes away from her colossal gut they would have seen perhaps first the tubes attached to her thumb-sized nipples, Aile perpetually hooked up to an overworked pump that drained her of milk that came back so quickly there was no point in taking them on and off in the first place.. Her arms were so plump that they seemed almost useless, squashing and sagging whenever she used them to shovel more food into her mouth, as she was now as she reached over to the snacks placed beside her. Finally there was her face, more than twice as large as her once sharp, attractive features had been, buried in ever-expanding flab as her second and third chins wobbled, Aile greedily gobbling down food to feed her unending hunger. Aile was hungrier than ever, and seemed to get fatter every time Ashe saw her.
“Morning, Aile!” She said loudly as she stepped into the room, having hoped to wake her up if she was still sleeping in, and stuck to her plan even as she noticed that she was already up and stuffing herself. The blob that was Aile shifted slightly, her body wobbling as her neck visibly squashed to try to look past herself, all the while her hand fishing in empty space for more sugary, salty snacks that she had already exhausted.
“Morning Ashe.” Aile said sleepily as always. “Can you go get Prairie? I’m out of stuff to eat and I’m really hungry…”
“I bet you are.” Ashe grinned, sauntering over to Aile and rubbing her insatiable belly, Aile almost cooing from the soothing sensation. Ashe glanced around at the rest of her room, so distracted by Aile’s immense body that she forgot to take stock of the state of her room, filled with medical equipment ready for the moment Aile’s waters finally broke. Initially the plan had been to move Aile into the infirmary full-time after she missed her due date, but Prarie had objected, arguing that it wasn’t comfortable enough for Aile, and so the room had been renovated into a very comfortable hospital room instead. Spoiled to the end, Ashe supposed.
“Mmmm…” Aile made a few pleasured sounds as Ashe felt the babies kick beneath her hands, but it wasn’t enough to overcome her primal hunger. “Come on Ashe, I’m hungry…”
“Why don’t you go ask her yourself? You look like you could use a walk.” Ashe teased her, backing off and crossing her arms beneath her bust. She tried not to look at Aile’s milky nipples too much, as she still needed to regularly milk herself at the most inopportune times, and thinking too much about the process or the babies that their “real” mother was taking care of tended to set her off.
“I’m not supposed to walk right now, it’s not good for me.” Aile said, and for once Ashe might have agreed. In the last few days before her birth Ashe had been in no condition to do more than waddle helplessly to the bathroom and back, and she weighed a mere fraction of what Aile did right now.
“Good point, you might pop on the way. Or maybe that’s a good reason to get up and about? You’re really dragging things out, you know.” Ashe smiled deviously, Aile chuckling in response.
“They just like being with their mommy a little too much.” Aile smiled, Ashe trying to ignore her own maternal pangs. “I’m sure it’ll be any day now, don’t worry.”
You just focus on enjoying yourself right now,” Ashe said in a smug, self-satisifed tone to hide her complicated feelings. “Because the gravy train is over as soon as you push those babies out. You can get away with being a beached whale now, but the tide’s coming in soon.”
Aile giggled at Ashe’s metaphor, hardly seeming to take the situation seriously.
“See, I was right all along.” Ashe said with the extreme smugness of somebody who had been validated despite a long struggle. “Sure, we ended up just about as mobile for a bit towards the end, but I was up and about as soon as I finally got those brats out of me. Just look at this perfect body! Aren’t I so skinny?”
Ashe proudly thrust her belly out, which Aile couldn’t help but notice wasn’t nearly as trim and tight as Ashe seemed to think. Her belly was rather soft, a plush, pooching gut that seemed to resist any attempts to return to the washboard abs she once had. Between that and her soft, curvaceous body, Aile wouldn’t have been surprised if Ashe weighed twice as much as she did pre-pregnancy.
“You look great, Ashe.” Aile smiled, keeping those thoughts to herself instead and speaking her honest opinion, feeling that Ashe looked great with a more maternal body. She was sure she’d look even better once she finally started being honest with herself and got pregnant again with her own kids!
“I do, don’t I?” Ashe beamed, twirling once, her huge boobs taking a few seconds to stop wobbling once she stopped. “And they tell me I’m practically ready to get back in the field too. Which brings us to you.”
Ashe paused to grab Aile’s thighs, mashing them together and kneading them like dough.
“Stop it, that tickles!” Aile laughed.
“You’ll be wishing it was just a tickle when you have to start burning this off, fatty!” Ashe’s attitude finally got the better of herself, her smugness spilling out all at once. “Look at you, you whale! You’ve put on enough to make ten of you! They’ll need a crane to get you out of bed in the morning! I’m gonna have to give you a crash course on walking once your precious Prairie isn’t around to do everything for you!”
“I might have gone a little overboard.” Aile admitted, sounding very unconcerned with the state of her body.
“A little!? I don’t think you should be allowed to use the word little anymore, AIle.” Ashe moved onto her belly, feeling up the cellulite-ridden underbelly flab. “Once you’ve given birth, you’ll hardly be able to tell the difference, but me, I was up and running! In the prime of my life! All that exercise! All that dieting! All totally worth it!”
In Aile’s opinion, Ashe sounded a little overeager to reassure herself that she had made the right call, so in her kindness, she decided to let her have that one. As Aile knew, carrying over twenty babies was a difficult, stressful experience, and Ashe had her own ways of letting out stress.
“So don’t worry Aile, I’ll be sure to whip you back into shape. Enjoy those sweets while you can, because you’re gonna forget what sugar tastes like by the time I’m through with you.” Ashe said, finally letting go of Aile and standing up straight with an expression of faux-concern for her.
“I’ll be sure to take you up on your kind offer next year, Ashe.” Aile said, Ashe about to launch into another tirade when she paused.
“Next year?” Ashe took a moment to catch up. “It’s March, what do you mean next year? Even Prairie said you’d be training to return to duty no more than a month after giving birth.”
“Oh, you didn’t hear?” Aile said innocently, Ashe starting to sweat. “Beatrice was so happy when she got your babies, she told me that she just had to have more! You see, she always wanted more than fifty kids, but she wasn’t sure she could accommodate them, or if we could carry that many on our first go. She must have been so excited to see her babies that she forgot to tell you that she finished the renovations on her mansion, apparently she has enough space for another fifty people at least!”
Ashe’s throat went dry, and Aile happily continued.
“So naturally, when she was visiting the other day, she told me that she wanted to have more right away, and, well, she was just so enthusiastic I couldn’t say no! Oh, don’t worry, I was sure to not speak for you too, although she said that the offer is open!”
“S-so you’re, you’re…” Ashe stuttered, going pale.
“...going to get pregnant again as soon as I can!” Aile said proudly, smiling broadly from one chubby cheek to another. Her chubby hand was tracing her belly as she spoke, rubbing it from one side to another in a broad, circular motion, her belly gently pulsing with kicks, rippling across her gelatinous body with each thump from within. There was no mirth in Aile’s voice, no sense that she was breaking the news to get back at Ashe’s gloating and teasing, just pure pride at the fact that she’d be putting her womb to good use once again. “Of course, I’ll need a recuperation period first, and Prairie said I should just take it easy and focus on recovering. So there won’t be any need for you to help me work out! Sorry!”
Ashe’s knees went weak, and her brain tuned out Aile going on to explain that some Beatrice had told her friends about how happy she was with her surrogacy, and how they were looking into her and Ashe’s potential services in the near future as well.
“C-congratulations…” She mumbled, just as Prairie entered the room with several platters of treats, wondering if she should have just taken it easy in the first place after all…
