The sun’s rays peaked through Danielle’s curtains and managed to hit her face in just the right spot for it to be annoying. Usually, she’d find this to be the worst part of waking up, but for some reason, she didn’t mind today. The warmth felt good and she felt well rested after a long day of school and work. Normally she had some difficulty getting out of bed in the morning, but right now she felt full of energy, even if she was still a bit sore after being on her feet for so long last night.
She was so tired after her shift last night that Riri was worried she’d fall asleep on the bus home, so the pink haired sweetheart gave her a ride back to campus. They exchanged numbers and even made tentative plans to hang out sometime in the future. Dani was sure she’d probably wake up to a dozen texts from her new friend in the morning, but didn’t mind that one bit as she stumbled into her dorm and went out like a light.
The somewhat groggy girl sat up, letting her bed covers fall away from her cute pink pajama top. She stretched and arched her back, feeling her shoulders pop with a satisfying tingle before reaching across to her bedside table to grab her phone.
‘...Wait, why is the case still pink?’
The thought entered through the early morning fog of her mind as she blinked groggily at the phone held in her neatly manicured hand.
Wait a minute…
“Oh my god!” Dani squealed, suddenly MUCH more awake as her brain connected the dots. “I totally forgot to change back to normal last night!”
“Hey sleeping beauty,” Jenny greeted from the other side of their dorm room as the attractive blonde sat cross-legged on her bed, typing away on her laptop, a playful and expectant grin on her plump pink lips. “Finally took the plunge, huh?”
“Like, I so didn’t mean to, Jenny,” Dani pouted. “I was just, like, so tired last night that I got kinda stupid I guess.”
“Like, that’s not really that stupid,” Jenny said in a consoling tone. “Lots of Knockers girls get kinda forgetful after a long day. Pretty sure I forgot to go back to normal on some days when I got totally carried away with the knocks too.”
That did make Dani feel a bit better about her mistake, but it also made her picture her already hot as hell roomie getting upgraded by the Knockers magic. What did an already super hot girl look like after three knocks?
“Ya know, now that I think about it, you must’ve been, like, super hot when you were on the clock,” Dani said as she properly got out of bed to look for her toothbrush and cup and head to the bathroom.
“I mean, sometimes I was pretty hot, but six-knock Jenny was a real dum-dum so I cut back after a while,” the blonde giggled.
“Wow,” Dani whistled. “Like, I can’t even think about how totally hot you’d be after three knocks, like, let alone six or whatever.”
“But, this is me after three knocks, silly,” Jenny said like it was obvious.
“WHAT?!?” Dani gasped, whipping her head around in shock.
Suddenly, Dani felt very, very dumb. Maybe her Danielle self was more of a bimbo than she’d been giving herself credit for. Of course Jenny must’ve kept her changes like so many of the other Knockers girls did. She was the weird one on staff who didn’t want to be super hot all the time.
“So, like, what did you used to look like?” Dani asked her roommate after a long pause to call herself stupid, though probably not nearly as long as Danielle would have.
“I was a skinny brunette tomboy,” Jenny shrugged. “I wanted to be hot and it’s not like I gotta do any math for a Communications Major, so I was like ‘this is pretty cool,’ ya know?”
“But, like, didn’t the magic totally change your life and mess it up or whatever?” Dani asked cautiously, voicing the fear she’d had for weeks now.
“Not really,” Jenny shrugged. “The magic totally tries to keep stuff the same since that’s easier. I mean, like, your side of the room is basically the same, except now our walls match.”
Confused, Dani looked over her shoulder and did a double take when she saw her wall. A Britniana Pierce poster had replaced the metal band poster that had been there before. Other than that though, her side of the room looked basically the same. Her bed still had the same dark blue blankets and her desk was still a cluttered mess of overpriced textbooks and electronics littering its surface.
“Huh,” the transformed waitress mumbled. “Like, I was expecting more oomph or whatever. Last time I did this my clothes and stuff changed.”
“...have you looked at what you’re wearing?” Jenny giggled. “You’re super cute like this, Dani.”
Sure enough, instead of Danielle’s usual sleeping wear of a baggy T-shirt and a pair of loose sweatpants, Dani was wearing a tight pink cotton shirt that clung to her bouncy, braless boobs and a pair of drawstring short-shorts that showed off her legs and butt.
Excited and a bit scared, the blonde whipped open her tiny wardrobe to see what else had changed. Not as much as she might’ve thought, to be honest. Dani’s clothes were generally a bit skimpier and cuter than Danielle’s, but in her current state of mind, it didn’t seem that bad to her. Hell, she was most surprised by how little her shoe collection had changed. Other than an extra pair of heels that seemed to have replaced her doc martens and an extra dress or two that seemed to appear out of nowhere, things weren’t the magical porno wardrobe that she’d been expecting all this time.
Seeming to sense Dani’s conflicting emotions, Jenny got off her bed and walked over to her friend, looking over the shorter girl’s shoulder and into Dani’s closet. “Not what you were expecting, huh?”
“Yeah, I figured it be, like, way sexier,” Dani nodded. “These are all super cute, but not that crazy. It’s like I’m just a normal hot girl or whatever.”
“You are a normal hot girl, duh,” Jenny laughed. “But if you want sexier clothes for when you’re in work mode, we can go to the mall.”
“But they won’t fit me when I turn back to me,” Dani protested. “And I totally am turning back, cuz I don’t wanna be a bimbo forever.”
“But, like, stuff you buy as Dani will turn into stuff you’d buy as Danielle, so won’t it just be different Danielle clothes?” Jenny countered. “I used to do it all the time when I was working there. It’s super fun.”
Shopping did sound pretty fun to Dani. Danielle wanted to buy things, but never could since she was always broke and was too scared to spend much when she did have money. Dani wasn’t worrying about that though. She had a job and got paid a lot of extra money last night, so she could probably afford a day of fun with her friend.
---
Dani was having a surprisingly good time with Jenny and an even more surprisingly good time at the mall. Danielle had never been a fan of the mall, both because it gave her money anxiety and also because she didn’t like spending time with people who thought an ideal day out was wasting their money on dumb stuff they didn’t need.
But as Dani, she wasn’t worrying about the money she had or didn’t have. The voice in her head telling her to squirrel it away for later wasn’t there, cringing and screaming any time she spent more than 30 dollars. And Jenny was even more fun than she usually was. Her kind and friendly roommate had always had a knack for making Danielle feel at ease, so with Dani around, the two of them were really hitting it off. She and Jenny had a lot in common; they gushed about Britniana Pierce’s newest album, talked about some of the latest gossip from campus, and window shopped at some of the boutiques that were still out of the price range of two college girls, even ones who were no longer flat broke.
After a while though, Dani wanted to splurge a little. She’d been looking at cute outfits all morning and felt her tip money from last night burning a hole in her pocket. What was the point in having all this extra cash so she could finally have some fun if she wasn’t gonna spend it on things that were fun?
“Jenny…” Dani said cautiously. “If I wanted to get something cute, you wouldn’t let me go too crazy so Danielle doesn’t get mad, right?”
“Danielle is you, but sure,” Jenny smiled. “I’ll totally be the responsible one so you can have fun today.”
That was all Dani needed to hear before the flood gates opened.
---
An hour later, the two girls emerged from “Twenty-One For a While,” a trendy clothing store that Danielle wouldn’t normally set foot in, with a few new outfits each. Dani got a couple cute dresses for the next time Jenny brought her to a party as well as a cute pink halter top to show off her boobs, and even a miniskirt since she noticed her transformed wardrobe didn’t have one. What kind of hot girl didn’t own a miniskirt? Dani simply had to fix this gross oversight.
“So, like, where to next?” Dani asked Jenny with an excited giggle. “Shoes? Hair? More clothing?”
“I was thinking ‘lunch’ since it’s getting kinda late,” Jenny said in a more serious tone since she was trying extra hard to be the serious one for Dani’s sake today.
Feeling her stomach growl a little in agreement after about 2 hours walking around the mall, Dani decided to go with her friend’s idea.
--
“Hmm…” Dani hummed, looking over the food court menu while Jenny patiently waited for her to make up her mind. “Hmmmmm… hmmmmmmmm…”
“Any day now, Dani.” Jenny said as politely as she could, her stomach growling in protest of Dani’s indecision.
“Maybe I’ll get the salad.” Dani said delicately. “Or maybe I should see if they do tofu…”
“Dani, just pick the burger already.” Jenny sighed, her stomach growling. “I know you want the burger.”
“But I’ll get fat!” Dani whined.
“You won’t get fat, Dani.” Jenny said, starting to salivate herself as the idea of a nice juicy burger invaded her mind and wouldn’t go away.
“But what if, though?” Dani said with wide, innocent eyes.
“Even if it’s like, the greasiest, fattiest, unhealthiest burger with an extra size toasted bun and three patties and double cheese and, like, no lettuce at all, you won’t get fat.” Jenny said, her patience evaporating as Dani failed to take into account that Jenny was the queen of impulse delivery takeout orders.
“But-”
“Dani, I will force feed you that stupid burger and prove to you that it’ll all go to your boobs.” Jenny said, leaning over and squeezing her puffy lips shut. “You like big boobs, right? So get the burger.”
“Mmph.” Dani nodded demurely, and soon placed an order for the most decadent cheeseburger on the menu.
“Okay, but like, do you guys get fat though?” Dani asked after polishing off her burger and munching on the salad she had insisted on buying on the side. “I always thought whatever you guys ate just went like, poof.”
“Just who do you think we are, Dani?” Jenny gave her a slightly apprehensive look.
“Well, you’re magic! Don’t tell me that couldn’t be magic too!” Dani complained defensively. “Besides, hot girls never seem to put on weight, it’s like, not fair at all, ya know?
“Hot girls are still human, Dani.” Jenny pointed out. She got the feeling that Danielle had a few questionable personal views left over from high school that Dani was letting slip. “Do you think you’re still human, Dani?”
“Woah, that’s like, deep.” Dani giggled after thinking about it for a few seconds, Jenny deciding to laugh too.
“Okay, but do we get fat, though? For real.” Dani said. “I totes feel like I’ve got a good metabolism right now but I always try really hard to stay skinny, ya know?”
“Def a good metabolism.” Jenny said. “I like, eat however I want all the time and I’m not fat so like, whatever.”
Come to think of it, Dani realised that Jenny didn’t really like cooking, and she had definitely seen her pigging out on fast food a lot, which kind of ruined her hot girl image for her a lot. Based on the fact that she didn’t have as much of a smidgen of belly fat, it was safe to assume that it really was all going to her boobs, or simply melted away.
“Well, it’ll only go to your boobs and butt if you’re all knocked up, anyway.” Jenny specified. “I dunno about your regular body. That’s up to like, genetics or whatever.”
“So you’re saying I’ll get fat!? I mean, other me will!” Danielle exclaimed with wide eyes, thinking about her regular self.
“Who knows, maybe that burger will have actually been just a salad for Danielle or whatever.” Jenny theorised. “I bet if you were Danielle you would have def only had the salad and gotten mad at me for telling you to live a little. Damn, I shoulda taken photos for my Insta and found out.”
“So I can eat however I want and Danielle’ll, like, be responsible for me?” Dani said with eyes sparkling with possibilities.
“Long as you don’t go crazy.” Jenny said. “I don’t think it’s gonna like, pretend you didn’t do it if you go buy ice cream or something. Like, there was that one girl who like, only ate Knockers leftovers to save money.” Jenny reflected nostalgically. “She did that for like, five months straight.”
“What happened to her?”
“Well, you technically could still call it an hourglass figure. She could barely fit through the door before Mrs. Pryde made her go on a diet.” Jenny giggled. “Course, there’s nothin’ healthy on the Knockers menu, so it couldn’t pretend her normal self wasn’t pigging out. Watching her change back was like, woah.”
Jenny was about to continue with her story when she saw somebody behind Dani and suddenly waved, calling out to the person.
“Oh, over here! There’s a free seat here, Raven!”
Dani turned her head, unable to quite see who it was Jenny was referring to until a shadow was cast over her, seemingly darker than your average shadow.
“You sure? I think I’d rather stand.” Came the response, the person darting around to be behind Dani’s head every time she tried to turn, Dani letting out a squeak of displeasure as the mysterious voice played with her.
“Come on silly, there’s no other seats.” Jenny gestured to the seat next to her in the packed food court. “And be nice to Dani.”
Dani was finally allowed to know who the mysterious figure was, and was met with the very image of a traditional goth girl, complete with pale white skin, heavy pure black makeup, large boots and ripped striped stockings underneath a lacy black skirt and a black hoodie to match. She had a tired, grumpy expression on her face, and was pretty in a way that was seemingly complimented by her bad mood, quite different from the classic beauty of the Knockers bimbos. She had long straight black hair with red streaks at the ends, and her loose hoodie couldn’t hide the fact that she was just as stacked as Jenny or Dani, not to mention her broad hips.
Big titty goth GF. The phrase suddenly ran through Dani’s mind straight from the Danielle part of her brain. Not just a goth, but the idealised version straight from some guys’ dreams. It was like she was seeing a living stereotype in the same way that she and Jenny were traditional cheerleader-types. She seemed like the type that wouldn’t be seen dead near the two of them, and certainly acted like it as she put her lunch down.
“Oh, you’re Dani, huh? The delivery girl, right? I was wondering who the new pair of boobs was.” The goth said, Dani slightly put off by her abrasive attitude.
“Dani, this is Raven we used to work together.” Jenny said, seemingly unperturbed by her poor mood. “Raven this is Dani, she’s new.”
“Yeah, I know her.” Raven said, already starting to dig into her sandwich without much courtesy. “You filled in for Bunny yesterday, right? Good on you for that. Heard you bitched about it to Riri until you changed. Imagine bitching to Riri of all people. She’s like if bubblegum got turned into a waitress.”
“Other me’s like that, yeah.” Dani said, her bubbly mood somewhat spoiled by this girl who seemed to have no filter. “But that was just ‘cause she gets all embarrassed, she didn’t mean it.”
“You mean you didn’t mean it.” Ruby interjected. “Don’t give me that double life stuff until you’re at least six knocks in. Everybody’s nice when they’re clocked in, you know. You think that’s a good excuse? Try being a nicer person when you don’t have any mumbo jumbo in your head. You can’t be polite to people without magic hair dye?”
“What is it with you!?” Dani said indignantly. “Were you even there? It was so not as bad as you’re making it sound!”
“'Course I was. Weren’t you listening before?” Raven crossed her arms. “Oh, don’t worry, I don’t expect you to remember anything more than two sentences ago.”
“Ruby, play nice.” Jenny said calmly as Dani’s mood started to be seriously spoiled, Ruby letting out a deep, exasperated sigh.
“Shit, I’m doing it again. I swear I told myself I wouldn’t insult anybody today.” Ruby ran her hands through her hair looking frustrated with herself. “Sorry Dan, don’t take anything I say personally, it’s complicated.”
“Raven used to work at the Goth IHOP before it closed down.” Jenny explained, putting a hand on Dani’s shoulder to reassure her.
“Before I got fired for spitting in a guy’s pancakes for touching my butt.” Raven smirked. “Worst mistake of my life. Not the spitting, the working there part.”
“Wait, is that like us?” Dani asked, confused. “Or are they like, natural goths?”
“Does this level of goth look natural to you?” Raven asked sarcastically. “How about the boobs? No way anybody with this little respect for the establishment has boobs this big.”
“A few years ago, there was this big fad of like, knockoff Knockers.” Jenny explained. “Goth IHOP, Milf Denny’s, Tomboy Outback, I think Femboi Hooters is still around…”
“They were gimmicky as fuck and run like shit.” Raven said bluntly. “You wouldn’t think it, but Knockers is actually pretty smart, they’ve been in the game for so long and all. They planned everything out, unlike those guys. I mean, who the fuck thinks that a restaurant where all of the waitresses feel like shit all the time and hate you is a good idea? That place was a total powder keg waiting to go off. Besides, nobody wants actual goths, they just want some normal girl with big tits in all black.”
“So it’s like Knockers but you turn into goths? With big boobs?” Dani said, still catching up on the revelation that Knockers wasn’t the only magical fast food chain in town. “And you got stuck like that? That sucks!”
“Bingo. You’re a fast learner.” Raven let out a smile for once. “So anyway, I get fired, the place closes down two months later, and I’m up three cup sizes and down my optimism and faith in humanity. I used to be Rachel, but call me Raven. Rachel just feels weird. Rachel was normal, after all.”
“And you couldn’t undo it?” Dani asked, now filled with sympathy for this poor girl.
“Nope, only mitigate it.” Raven sighed. “Anyway, that’s why I started working at Knockers. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, right? I get to spend at least some of the day having a good time. You probably recognise me, I’m Ruby.”
“You’re Ruby!?” Dani exclaimed, remembering the kindhearted bimbo with very long and curly hair with pink streaks in it. She had the biggest boobs out of all the girls on her shift, way bigger than her head, with hips and a butt to match. She was also one of the dumbest, but she was like a big bosomy sister to all of the other workers, always helping out and being easily the nicest girl at any given time. Even she had ended up on the receiving end of her hugs a few times despite their minimal time spent together. She also recalled her being on staff when she had covered for Bunny, that must have meant she was a full timer. Understandable given her situation.
“Yep. Dumb as a rock, but at least I’m happy for once.” Raven smiled again. “So like I said, don’t take anything I say here personally, it’s just part of the image. I’d say it’s not the real me, but who even knows who’s the real me these days.”
“So how come you’re not all, you know, gothy?” Dani asked thoughtlessly. The idea of a goth bimbo was kinda cute. A gimbo?
“A lot of knocks. I do six on average.” Raven grinned. “I don’t really feel like I start liking people again until at least five knocks, and by then what’s one more?”
“Oh, so that’s why your boobs are way huger than the other six knock girls when you’re Ruby.” Dani gasped. “You’ve got like, two sets of boobie magic!”
“Stop it, you’re making me stupider just being near you.” Raven groaned, her head in her hands. “You sure know how to pick ‘em, Jen.”
“You can get along with Dani now that she knows what happened to you, right?” Jenny smiled.
“Not quite.” Raven begged to disagree. “Sorry, but to be completely honest, I can’t stand you guys. I’m doing my best to be a reasonable human being right now, but you’re all so sugary and happy you make me want to throw up. Goths and bimbos aren’t meant to get along, you know? So be nice and don’t ask me to sit next to you again, okay? One of you is bad enough, I don’t know how I live with Jenny and we don’t even see each other that often.”
“So you’re still up for that party on Friday?” Jenny seemed utterly unphased by her rant.
“You bet, make sure you come pick me up.” Raven smiled. “Later, cheer squad.”
The two waved goodbye, leaving behind a cheerful Jenny and somewhat frazzled Dani.
“I, like, don’t really know how to feel about her.” Dani said. “She’s really mean, but it’s like, she doesn’t really mean it? Except she kinda totally does? But not really?”
“You get used to it.” Jenny seemed unflinching in her acceptance of the overwhelmingly negative girl. “Raven’s had it tough. Mrs. Pryde’s been trying to find a solution, but it’s taking a while.”
“I’m not like that, am I?” Dani asked apprehensively. She had been suddenly made aware that a constantly negative and snippy attitude wasn’t very fun when you were on the receiving end. “Actually, like, don’t answer that.”
---
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Dani asked Jenny as they entered the Platinum Princess Salon on the mall’s second floor.
“You’ve been saying you want to do something with your hair for weeks now,” Jenny said with a shake of her head.
“Yeah, but what if, like, other me doesn’t like it?” Dani whispered, almost afraid that the Danielle part of her mind would overhear her and attack.
“There is no other you, Dani,” Jenny sighed. “Besides, even if you do get a haircut Danielle wouldn’t, it’ll just, like, turn into one that she would like… I think.”
“You think?!”
“I don’t know,” the slightly taller girl shrugged. “I try not to think about it too much ‘cause reality magic is weird. It all just kinda works out.”
Dani wanted to ask more questions, but a girl arrived to the waiting area to get them set up, so she stopped talking. It probably wasn’t a good idea to talk about magic rules in front of other people since even Dani knew that would be stupid.
While the girl’s offer of a full package of hair, manicures, pedicures, and a skin and makeup treatment was tempting, Dani felt like it’d be better to save a bit of money and just stick to hair since she was pretty sure her nails and skin were magically nice already. And since Danielle’s dark messy hair had been getting extra messy lately, since it was getting longer and shaggier than she usually kept it, a haircut really did sound like a good idea.
Of course, once the pretty blonde was actually in the barber chair and ready for a change of style, she was having second thoughts. Sure, Danielle’s hair might risk turning into a frizzy, shaggy mess when it got past it’s usual shoulder length, but Dani’s hair was smooth, silky perfection. It felt almost wrong to get it cut. Danielle would never say it outloud, but she had always wished her hair was more manageable. Shame the only way it looked good was when she was a blonde bimbo. It just wasn’t fair.
“So, what’d you have in mind, beautiful?” the pretty redhead helping her asked.
“Maybe something to make my hair really pop,” she answered after a long moment of thought. If Dani was being honest, she wished her hair was longer, not shorter. It was a shame that to get her hair longer, she’d have to go through one of those awkward middle phases when it wasn’t quite long enough and just looked weird.
“How about some extensions for extra volume?” the stylist suggested.
“That could be fun!” Dani giggled, already picturing herself with the long pretty princess hair that she wanted when she was a little girl.
The stylist went to work, clipping in and attaching different strands and layers of golden blonde locks, adding about six inches to her hair’s overall length. Then, she styled it into soft, loose waves that fell down to nearly her waist in a silky golden waterfall. In less than 30 minutes, Dani had hair longer and prettier looking than she’d ever dreamed of!
Jenny went with something much more subdued, just getting some highlights to make her already long golden blonde hair shine just a bit brighter.
The friends left the salon, happy with their changes and ready to head to part two of their day out - a party. It was gonna be so sweet!
