"Finally done." Danielle groaned as she squished the stress ball, fading back into her usual self as she took a moment to stretch out, a literal weight lifted from her shoulders. Once she settled back into position she began to count her tips, a few notes falling down her shirt and onto her lap as she no longer had the cleavage to comfortably house them.

"Damn it, this is down from last week..." She said miserably as she inspected her declining extra income, which had had a great start and then petered out as she reached the stingier customers. It wasn't like she was doing anything wrong, it was just that those five-knock bitches were scooping up all of the good customers.

"I guess that's what Traci was bragging about the other day." She realised, recalling one of the other delivery girls who she occasionally saw but otherwise typically conflicted with her shifts. She had been even dumber and bustier the last time she saw her, bragging that she was getting, like, way bigger tips now. Maybe she should consider moving up to four knocks...

"Hold your horses, girl." She told herself with a shudder. Three knocks was demeaning enough, and she doubted that anybody who was unsatisfied with three knocks was likely to be swayed by four. She would have to be satisfied with the knowledge that she was making good money, even if it wasn't the best money, at least for now. The way her co-workers gleefully described it, very few had the integrity to resist the temptation after they worked there long enough, along with a few other things that Danielle preferred to call a moral decline. First you started by not changing back between deliveries, then you stayed a bimbo your whole shift. Then you figured it wouldn't hurt to spend a day or two as a blonde, and then you figured that the guys liked it if you added a couple extra knocks. Next thing you knew you were seven knocks in, hadn't changed back in a month, and were quitting your job because you landed a bikini modelling contract and flunked all of your exams anyway, which was not Danielle's idea of a happy end.

Not that her co-workers seemed to agree, with how eager they were to have her assume her identity as Dani on a more full-time basis. The Knockers girls were all birds of a feather, and actively encouraged turning that feather bright blonde. The worst part is that she had the awful feeling that Dani would get along swimmingly with them if given the chance, at which point they'd never let her hear the end of it. It didn't help that Dani seemed to view her co-workers as potential friends rather than weirdo idiots in hotpants, another reason why she made sure to squeeze that stress ball as soon as she got back before her other self got any funny ideas. Danielle was not friendless, to make that clear to the nobody who had asked her. She had bonded with a handful of girls once she started college to make up for moving away from most of her old friends, was just that her more introverted personality meant that she wasn't a social hummingbird constantly flittering this way and that, and becoming Dani seemed to flip her into extrovert mode, more of a Jenny type. Maybe she'd have had a funner college life if she had always been that way...

Danielle blushed and shook her head vigorously to dispel those thoughts. What the hell was she thinking? She hadn't even been Dani that much, just a few minutes here and there, a couple of times while she was still at Knockers, and she had mostly just talked to Bunny and the manager while she was in that state. She was just overthinking things, and had no intention of trading her future career prospects for temporary fun, if she could call it that. More like she was too dumb to not enjoy herself. She started up the engine and got on the road, taking a moment to stuff her earnings away first. If she was going to have fun, it was because she had steady income now! Money really was the root of all happiness, and she was just mixing up her natural greed with her bimbo self's bubbly personality since she tended to experience both at the same time. She was definitely, absolutely not going to give in to the strange way of life Knockers promoted. Plus, Jenny kept asking to see her in uniform, and it had become a personal goal to deny her that pleasure as revenge for roping her into this. If nothing else, watching her beg gave her some perverse pleasure.

After arriving back at the Knockers restaurant, Danielle entered through the back where she didn't have to embarrass herself by letting the male clientele see her in uniform. Keeping herself out of sight and out of mind made entering the otherwise embarrassing building much easier, since it divorced herself from the main restaurant proper. To her, the Knockers she worked at was mostly the changeroom where the girls took breaks, chatted, and suited up. When she arrived, she found one of the waitresses being chewed out by Mrs. Pryde in the hallway between her and the changeroom.

"This is the fourth time this week you've gotten an order wrong, Jessi. And it's only Tuesday!" The manager said, the bimbo she was talking to looking not particularly guilty at all. "You're on thin ice, you know. If you can't shape up or at least contain yourself to less knocks, your job could very well be in danger!"

"So? That's like, whatever." The unintimidated Jessi said lazily, checking her long pink nails. She was obviously under the effects of far more knocks than the average waitress, based on her appearance. She was supremely curvy, with at least a G-cup chest that was straining her top stacked on top of an almost impossibly thin waist and some of the thickest thighs and juiciest hips Danielle had seen yet. She had a particularly dumb look on her impeccably beautiful face, as it was obvious that anything more complicated than the simplest of math was well beyond her. A self-induced victim of the higher end of the knocking scale. Not an entirely uncommon sight around here. "Taking orders is hard anyway, I'll just, like, serve 'n stuff instead. 'Long as I still get tips it's like, totes fine. The guys like it, right? We're suppposed ta make the guys happy, ya know."

"You should be worried about yourself and not the boys, Jessi." Mrs. Pryde continued to scold her even as her employee acted like the whole thing was just a drag. "You're reaching the point where, like many girls before you, you won't be able to work well enough for us to keep you employed, taking orders or not!"

"Then I'll just go model or something like those girls. I could totes be centrefold if I wanted, everybody'd be dying to get me." Jessi give a big dumb smile with her over-inflated lips that exuded dumb confidence. "Why've you gotta be such a drag, Mrs. Pryde? I feel sooooo good when I'm like this, so what's the problem? Three knocks me is like, a total plainy next to this hotness. I don't do tiny boobs anymore, ya know? Anyway, I've gotta go, see ya!"

Mrs. Pryde let out an exasperated sigh as Jessi trotted off, none of it having penetrated her thick skull. She looked to Danielle sympathetically, for once the two being on the same page when it came to dealing with those considerably dumber than them.

"They like, don't listen to me at all when they're like this, but I've, like, totally gotta still try, ya know?" Mrs. Pryde slipped back into her more casual tone of voice more in line with the common workers than the slightly more intelligent managerial role she took. "I'm gonna have to chat with her before she clocks in at this rate. I think she's been staying like this overnight lately though..."

"Sounds tough." Danielle said with a slight smirk at the queen bimbo finding somebody who was too much for her.

"It's girls like this who don't stay long. They think they've got it aaalll figured out, and then bam! They end up caring more about Instagram and their boyfriends than making the customers happy and leave." Mrs. Pryde sighed. "Some girls just let it go to their heads."

"Why not just stop them from knocking too much?" Danielle suggested.

"It's against our policy to limit it. That's up to all of you to decide for yourselves and what you're happy with." She said maturely. "Back when I was your age I used to play around a lot too. I even went up to ten knocks sometimes! Ooh, that was fun, I wish I could still do that sometimes. You can't be irresponsible when you're a mom, though!"

Mrs. Pryde looked wistful for a moment, then giggled. "Okay, back to work! Have a nice night, Dani!"

She sasheyed back into her office, leaving Danielle to wonder just what a milf in her forties looked like at ten knocks. It was a terrifying image. She decided to put that one out and head to the changeroom to get out of this stupid uniform and go home. Maybe she could deliver her own dinner, even if it wasn't particularly healthy. She'd get fat if she did it too often, but whatever. Maybe she wouldn't put on any weight if she ate like a pig as Dani, she bet that the Knockers girls were the types who either never put on weight no matter how they ate, or it all went straight to their boobs. Something to figure out another day.

Danielle arrived in the changeroom, and as usual it was a veritable wonderland of boobs, the dream of every horny teenage boy, and Danielle figured that if she were a little less straight and had a fetish for big boobs she'd be in heaven. Hell, she was pretty sure that at least one of the waitresses was a lesbian having the time of her life working here based on the gossip she heard, but that girl worked on a different shift to her so she didn't really get the chance to find out. Bunny was there, her shift ending roughly near Danielle's on average, chatting with a couple of other girls. She noticed Danielle had arrived and began waving to her too much for Danielle to pretend she didn't see her.

"Welcome back, Dani!" She said cheerfully, welcoming her into the circle. "Did you have a nice night?"

"It wasn't completely terrible." Danielle said sardonically, merely getting a round of giggles out of the girls.

"You hear that? That's Dani-talk for saying she had a good night. I bet she got great tips!" Bunny laughed, making her turn slightly red as a result. No amount of cynicism got through to these girls, she swore. It was like being pessimistic at a brick wall.

"Not as good as they could be, the other girls are stealing them." Danielle admitted. "I've got to get some good repeat customers if I want to keep up. Urgh, I sound like a call-girl or something when I put it like that."

"Hang in there, Dani." Bunny patted her on the back, her boobs squishing against her arm as she leaned around her. No sense of personal space, these bimbos. At least they were soft and cuddly by design.

"So what were you talking about?" Danielle asked out of curiosity as she changed back into her jeans and ripped band t-shirt.

"Oh, we were just wondering what happens if a boy joined Knockers and did three knocks." One of the other two explained. "Like, no boy would ever wanna work here, so none of us know. Bunny thinks he'd turn into a girl."

"That makes the most sense, right Dani?" Bunny looked to her for sympathy. "Robin thinks it'd turn them into a meathead jock."

"That's like the guy version of us, right?" Robin said with a staggering amount of self-awareness. "So if he did three knocks he'd be like, a total himbo. I wanna see it, that'd be soooo hot."

The third pitched in. "Knocking's supposed ta like, make you more feminine 'n stuff, right? So if a guy did it, wouldn't he like, just start looking like a girl? That'd be way weird, but also kinda cute, right? I dunno how many knocks it'd take until you couldn't tell he was a boy anymore though, 'an maybe he'd turn into a girl like Bunny says after enough. What do you think, Dani?"

Dani thought about it for a minute.

"Honestly, I don't really want to know." She admitted. "I can't decide between himbo or girl."

"Robin, you should get your boyfriend to try." Bunny playfully suggested. "You said he'd do anything for you, right? I bet you could toootally get him to sign the contract and test it for us."

"No way, that'd be super weird!" Robin laughed uncontrollably. "And I like him the way he is? Okay, maybe he'd be hot as a girl too, but still!"

"What's the problem, you're bi anyway!" The third complained, and even Danielle found herself laughing with the three. There was something infectious about the cheerful innocence of the group discussing something as silly as this.

"Maybe Mrs. Pryde would know." Danielle suggested. "You could try asking her."

"I asked once and she said it's a secret." Bunny said. She looked at her watch and gasped. "Okay girls, we went way overtime, you gotta get back to work!"

Robin and her friend waved goodbye and headed back out to the restaurant, leaving Danielle and Bunny to their own devices.

"What about you?" Danielle asked.

"I've like, still got ten minutes left on my break." Bunny explained as other workers came in and out, transitioning between shifts. "You gonna head off now? Usually you get back and you're like zoom straight outta here."

"Well, I've still got at least fifteen minutes to burn. Jenny's got friends over and I'm not gonna rain on her parade by telling them to leave early." Danielle explained, stretching as she got settled in. "So congratulations, you get to keep me until then."

"By the way," Bunny said. "I've been meaning to ask-"

"Aaah, finally!"

Bunny was cut off by a cheer from another waitress wearing only her lacy bra and panties, standing in front of the employee door after a particularly loud series of knocks that was well above three, at least six. Naturally she had a particularly curvaceous form that put the average waitress to shame, with a bubble butt the size of a truck wheel and two wobbly F-cups. Or were they G-cups? It was hard for Danielle to tell, she wasn't exactly an expert on bras she had never seen herself potentially wearing. She had particularly long golden hair that trailed down to her ass in curly waves, hair length growth being a side effect of later knocks.

"Gawd, I don't know how I like, live without this." The loud bimbo sighed, cupping her breasts. "Finally nice and pretty again!"

"No need to say it every time, girl." Bunny called, her usual friendly demeanour a little tired. By Dani's estimates, she'd have had to hear it for at least a month straight before she lost patience.

"Ooh, I'm like, so sorry, Bunny!" The girl cooed, seemingly genuinely slightly apologetic. "I just can't help it! My life is like, sooooo stressful, this is like, the only time of the day I have fun, ya know? Plus I get to be hot 'n stuff, normal me's like, a total uggo. So you can't blame me, right? Who wouldn't want to be me right now?"

"Just keep it to yourself, okay?" Danielle said with a pained expression, having had enough of one girl like this when she saw that ultra-ditz before. "If everybody here started talking about how great they are for being blonde and having huge boobs it'd probably blow our ears out."

"Like, sorry Dani!" The girl giggled. "It is Dani, right? I'm good with names, I bet I'm right!"

"It's Danielle, but close enough." Danielle sighed. "Let's see, you're, uh... Betty, right?"

"Bubbles!"

"Oh, of course, how could I have not known." Danielle groaned. "It was definitely Betty last week..."

"Easy on the knocks, okay?" Bunny smiled, although it was an obvious warning. "Jessi's, like, two steps from getting fired, so we need you able to take orders, okay? We all know you keep going up."

Bubbles pouted.

"But I feel way better the more I knock! Come on, I spend all day being a smarty-pants, let me have this one!"

"I think we could use a few more smarty-pants around here." Danielle smirked. "Somebody's got to balance this place out, and I don't know if I'm enough."

Bubbles continued to pout. "Aw, you're no fun, you're just being a grump 'cause you aren't in work mode and have all those normal people worries and stuff. You'd have way more fun if you did it too! Totally stress-free too. You'll get wrinkles if you don't! Just think about it, okay? Ciao!"

Bubbles winked and swayed out of the room, seemingly deliberately rocking her hips as much as possible. God, she didn't need to show off like that, Danielle was pretty sure her hips weren't even capable of rocking with how much of a stump she was.

"If I end up like that, just kill me and get it over with fast, okay?" Danielle made a tired plea to Bunny, probably the least dumb girl in the building as far as she was aware and the most likely to agree to mercy kill her.

"I don't think it's bad to enjoy working." Bunny shrugged. "Why do you think I work here?"

"I don't trust anybody who works minimum wage and says they like it." Danielle declared. "That technically includes you, but her moreso."

"Y'know Danielle, you really act like you want to not like working here." Bunny sighed, pursing her plump lips. "Maybe we should ask Dani what she thinks instead? I'm sure she doesn't mind."

"No way." Danielle said sharply. "Putting aside your weird magic, I bet she could find the fun in watching paint dry. That thing doesn't count."

"You say that like you're not the same person." Bunny pointed out.

"Because we aren't." Danielle said forcefully. "I feel all weird and bubbly and fuzzy when I'm like that, like I can't think straight, and that's before you get to the part where it makes me dumb as a rock. It's like I'm me, but I'm not me. Don't try to tell me there isn't a personality change."

"Okay, it does change you a bit." Bunny admitted. That much was obvious, it was the whole point. She herself had spent so long changed that it was hard to imagine a time when there was a difference, and for her it had blurred together a bit towards the end. "I liked that, so I'm Bunny, like, full time. But Bonnie made that decision, and if you asked her she'd still totes be happy about it."

"Don't you try to get me into some identity crisis." Danielle said cautiously. "It's just like putting on a uniform and a smile for the customer, everybody does that in a normal restaurant too. It's just that I don't get a choice in the matter with this one."

"It's okay if you look at it that way. Most girls do." Bunny agreed, leaning against the lockers. "But y'know, you, like, make an awful big deal out of it for somebody who's, like, just being in work mode."

"For literal magic? Of course I'm making a big deal." Danielle protested. "I'd be crazy if I didn't. See, that's why you're crazy. You're all crazy! And you're trying to make me crazy too!"

She waved her hands theatrically and rolled her eyes while making the grandiose accusation, making less big of a deal of it than she would a couple of weeks ago where she would have said it quite seriously. Maybe she really was getting used to this complicated work-life dynamic she was stuck in. Or maybe she just didn't want to hurt Bunny's feelings when, for better or worse, she seemed simply bent on having her work out her weird new life, even if she was pushing her in a direction she didn't want. Maybe a bit of both.

"I'm just saying, methinks thee do protest too much, so said Mr Shakespeare. See, my English major wasn't useless after all." Bunny smiled, patting her on the head like she was some kind of child. "Don't worry Dani, you'll figure it all out soon. We'll go shopping to celebrate!"

"I don't think I could afford shopping with you." Danielle said with a wry smile as she wriggled out from under Bunny's hand, seriously doubting that she'd ever quite work this thing out. "By the way, what is it you wanted to ask me before?"

Bunny's mouth opened in a surprised O-shape, a perfectly dim expression for a bimbo like her.

"Oh my gawd, I, like, totally forgot to ask you!" She exclaimed excitedly. "I was gonna say, I haven't gotten to see you in your "work mode" since you joined! I keep waiting for you to come back all knocked up, but you never do! What gives? I can't even remember what you looked like 'cause you only did it for like two minutes the first time!"

"What? I'm not going to stay like that any longer than I need to." Danielle said with a frown. "Sorry, your curiosity isn't worth my dignity. That's a thing we normal people have."

"But I wanna seeeee!" Bunny whined, giving her big puppy dog eyes to try to guilt trip her into changing.

"No means no, Bunny." She said, averting her gaze to avoid the guilt.

"Not even if I say pretty please?"

"Still no."

"Just for a minute! Come on, you don't have anything better to do, right?"

"Okay, fine." She gave in, detecting that she was going to have to put up with this until Bunny got what she wanted. "Just for a minute though. Let me get changed first."

A minute later, she was ready to go back in her uniform, and she couldn't believe she agreed to this, but it was too late to pull out. Just a little bit of pain now would save her a lot of hassle later, she reassured herself. Eventually Bunny would get the message that she wasn't going to be a full-on part time bimbo.

"Okay, it's self-humiliation time, you'd better appreciate this." Danielle made her reluctance very clear, hoping that Dani would pick up at least a little of it.

"Don't worry, I do!" Bunny smiled. Damn, she really couldn't say no to that smile, it was so damn innocent. Stupid bimbos. She sighed again and reached out, knocking three, exhaling as Dani swelled into life and her hair faded to blonde. In a turn of events that would have pleased Danielle, a little bit of her poor mood seemed to have made the jump.

"There, you happy now?" Dani sighed. "I'm hot as hell, what else did you expect? Now I'm gonna be all grumpy when I change back. You know I'm only in this totally great mood when I'm like this, right? It's sooo dumb."

"Don't worry, you're like, totes as hot as I expected." Bunny appraised her with an expert eye as Dani pushed out her hip in a sassy pose. "Mmm, your boobs aren't as big as mine with three knocks, that sucks."

"What'd you expect?" Dani asked sadly, squeezing her precious knockers, enjoying them while they lasted. "I'm flatty mcflat-flat when I'm normal. The big boobs are like, the best part of the job."

"Agreed." Bunny nodded. This was a common truth of being a Knockers waitress.

"Anyway, I'd love to keep being gorgeous, but I think our party pooper would say I should, like, change back now or whatever dumb stuff I say." Dani lamented, her usual bubbly attitude brought down a little by knowing how short-lived it would be.

"You still think you're totally different?" Bunny asked curiously.

"'course we are." Dani said firmly. "Regular me's a total downer. She's proud of it, ya know? That's why I've gotta have all the fun for her, even if it's only for a couple of minutes. Trust me, if I stayed me for a whole day, I'd have, like, more fun in a day than she has in a year."

"You're being pretty negative right now too." Bunny pointed out.

"Urgh, you're right." Dani realised. "That is so not me, I'm so sorry! I promise I'll be funner next time! Ooh, I should get some revenge on me for spoiling it."

"Actually, like, don't do that?" Bunny frantically waved her hands, signalling for her to stop. "I'm the one who's gonna get blamed."

"Fine, I won't tell you that we're like, actually kinda besties here." Dani sighed. "She totally doesn't want you to know that, you know."

It took a moment for Dani to realise what she had done.

"Ooh, she's gonna be so mad at me now! I'm am such a ditz!" Dani wailed. "Okay, I'm changing back before I mess up again!"

Dani reached for the stress ball, and in a few moments only a very flustered Danielle stood in her place.

"See?" Danielle huffed. "That's why I didn't want to do it."

"Hmm, I see." Bunny whistled with a painfully faux-innocent face. "Besties, huh?"

"By default!" Danielle insisted. "That's just how she puts it! It's more like you're the only one I talk to here."

"Whatever you say, Dani." Bunny grinned. "Anyway, you're as cute as I thought. Do you think you can do it again? I don't think I got enough the first time."

"I'm not that. If you cared so much at the time you should've taken a picture, it'd have lasted longer." Danielle said smugly as she began to change back into her jeans. "Then I could tell you to stare at that the next time you ask me. Or maybe I can take a selfie for you, I bet other me would like that."

"Nah, selfies 'n photos like that are no good." Bunny shook her head. "Magic doesn't like 'em. You change back in the photo too, so, like, you never know what you're gonna get. Unless you change back again, anyway."

"How does that work?" Danielle asked curiously as she took off the Knockers top and replaced it with her fashionably slightly torn black metal band t-shirt.

"It's like, um... It'd be faster to show you." Bunny said after thinking about it for a few seconds. "Can you knock on the door again?"

"Hey, I just did it for you, you just want me to do it again." Danielle protested, crossing her arms. "In fact, I should be the one taking the photo, we can use you instead."

Bunny shook her head vigorously, sending her blonde hair all over the place.

"Nuh uh, I haven't changed back in forever, I'm not gonna do it now." She seemed very resolute on the issue. "It'd be really weird and uncomfortable. Like, that's not me anymore. Not happening! Just do it, it'll only be for like five seconds!"

"Okay, fine, geez." Danielle hadn't been expecting such a strong reaction from the usually easy-going girl, although in hindsight she probably should have. "But just for a few seconds, okay?"

She stepped up and knocked, feeling the pink haze invade her head as within seconds she was Dani again. She visibly relaxed as her wound up tension evaporated, before she made a girly gasp as she looked down.

"Oh no, this top's totally gonna rip!" Dani realised in a panic, glancing down expecting it to tear around the chest in the next few seconds. "And this was like, my favourite band's shirt too! It's limited edition, they only sold it at one show! Oh, my jeans too, my hips are like, way too sexy for these jeans!"

"Calm down, they change with you." Bunny reassured her while Dani already had her top over her head and her bra out. She paused with it over her head, slowly and cautiously lowering it back down.

"Oh, you're right." Dani stated the obvious. "It's comfy, too. Wait, woah! The band changed! Why'd it do that?"

The grungy metal band logo on her shirt had turned a bright lipstick red, now having some girly singer's name on it complete with kiss marks. Dani strained, but couldn't get a good look at most of it thanks to how far her boobs stuck out. It was the one downside, it seemed, besides that she bet that around five knocks she probably wouldn't be able to see her feet any more.

"Well, the magic doesn't just, like change you on the spot and make everybody think nothing happen." Bunny explained, thinking that Dani looked good with the brighter colours on her. "It's more like, as long as you're knocked up, you were like, always that way. Do you get it?"

"I don't get it." Dani said honestly. "Also, it sounds kinda weird if you say it that way. Anyway, what does it say?"

Bunny looked a little closer, then gave something that was half girly gasp and half fangirl squeal.

"You like Britniana Pierce too?" She said, Dani's eyes lighting up as she found a fellow woman of culture. Not that one was hard to find, she was one of the most prolific singers in the country, completely contrary to Danielle's usual counter-culture tastes and insistence that if you knew the band she liked, she didn't like them anymore.

"You too? She's so great, isn't she?" Dani squealed, fangirling out already. Danielle had a few friends who were in a band, and she tended to be passionate about the bands she liked. However, she would have sooner died than let anybody know that her guilty pleasure was Britniana Pierce's music, the most vapid girly pop music in town. Unfortunately for her, Dani had no such reservations about showing off her taste, and the two rapidly struck up a conversation about where they felt she peaked, how she progressed from her early work, and what the current state of her music was like.

"Top or Bottom is good, but I think she like, was at her best before when she..." Dani bubbled out near the end of a fast-paced conversation, until she realised that she was forgetting something. "Like, omigawd, the photo! We gotta take that photo!"

"Oh yeah, you're right." Bunny also seemed to have totally forgotten, having instead enjoyed chatting with Dani. "Good thing you remembered, my break's over soon."

"Make sure you show me before I change back, 'kay?" The now much more enthusiastic Dani asked. "I just realised I haven't, like, seen myself since I started working besides in the rear view mirror which so doesn't get my good side! I wanna see too!"

Bunny giggled and held up her pink phone. "Say cheese!"

There was a flash, and Dani was soon captured striking what she felt was an appropriately sexy pose for the occasion, emphasising her chest and her cuteness.

"Let me see, let me see!" Dani bubbled over to Bunny's side, looking over her shoulder and gasping at her own appearance. "Wow, I'm like, super pretty. I forgot how hot I was. Too bad I can't keep all this when I change back! You sure you can't send me this?"

Bunny shook her head sadly, to Dani's lament.

"Okay, I'm gonna change back to plain ol' Dani now." Dani announced, squeezing the stress ball and shrinking back to her modest proportions. The pink haze faded, and a slightly exasperated Danielle was left in her place.

"Okay, let's see me in that dumb pose and get it over with." Danielle said sheepishly, still embarrassed by the way she had behaved. But to be fair, she was pretty hot when she was like that, she didn't blame her other self one bit. But when she got there, just as Bunny had promised, Dani was nowhere to be seen. In her place was plain old Danielle, standing awkwardly and refusing to pose in the slightest.

"Woah, that's really weird." Danielle commented, still confused by it. "It's like looking at a photo from another timeline where I said no to changing. How the hell does that work?"

"I try to not think about it too much." Bunny shrugged, and it took a lot of willpower to not joke back that she didn't think too much about anything. The compexities of magically induced alternate realities and the nightmare of a discussion involved contested only by convoluted time travel movies was immediately killed off and pushed right out of Danielle's head when she noticed the menacing smile that Bunny had on her face, her kissable lips widening by the second.

"So..." Bunny's smile widened from one rosy cheek to the other. "You like Britniana Pierce too?"

Danielle made a hacking, choked up cough as she attempted to give two very different answers at the same time.

"Yes. No. Yes. No. Maybe a little. Definitely not." She attempted a second time, looking down to make sure that her shirt had changed back to normal. "You know, mostly not. Okay, so maybe she made one or two albums that aren't terrible. It's not like I listen to them all the time or anything! You know I don't really do mainstream, and she's like, way mainstream, even if her roots are in the indie scene so her melodies are actually sometimes..."

Danielle trailed off, flushed bright red.

"This doesn't leave this room, okay?" Danielle made her swear. "I will kill you if you tell any of my band friends about this. I will never be able to talk to them again if they find out."

"Why though? Her music's great!" Bunny asked with a face of pure innocence. "Pick Me Up And Take Me Home is like, my favouritest song ever!"

Damn it, Danielle swore to herself, somehow Bunny had good taste. Not that she could ever admit it.

"Oh, would you look at the time, I've got to go." Danielle said loud enough to drown Bunny out before she had the chance to start singing her favourite lyrics as she marched herself right out of the room. "See you tomorrow!"

Cursing her loose lips, Danielle refused to admit that with Bunny there, working at Knockers wasn't totally bereft of upsides...
