"I'm leaving, Mom." Hilda said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. Finally, she was about to embark on her Pokemon journey. She had already worked out the tearful farewells with her mother, who was waiting at the door to see her out.
"I just have one thing for you to keep in mind, dear." Hilda's mother said, holding the door open for her.
"I know, I know." Hilda sighed. "Never trust a man who-"
"Not that, dear." Her mother corrected her. "I'm sure you're excited to try the local cuisine on your travels, but try to be careful with what you eat. The women in this family put on weight easily, you see. I've been careful with your diet, so I'm just a little concerned now that you're out on your own."
"Come on Mom, my figure is perfect." Hilda pinched her arm in embarrassment, showing how little fat there was to be pulled. "You don't think your daughter has any self-control? Plus I'm going to be walking anywhere. That's plenty of exercise, you know?"
"I'm sure you'll be fine, but your mother used to be a lot heavier when she was younger, you know, so I'm just-"
"I'll be fine, Mom! Geez!" Hilda rushed out the door, flushed red. Honestly, what kind of parting words were those! Sure, her mother had always been really picky about what she let her daughter eat, but this was going too far! She hadn't even thought about eating on her trip. She'd be fine! In fact, by the next time she saw her mother, she wouldn't have put on a single pound!

"What the heck is that?" The Lass squinted at the horizon, the sun blurring out the figure approaching her. A wide, round figure with what looked like a big belly. "Do we have Snorlaxes in this region?"
It grew closer, and the Lass soon realised that it wasn't some sort of Pokemon, but in fact a person. She became clear enough to make out, and the Lass's first thought was that she couldn't believe how fat she was. She was wider than a Hiker, perhaps a Hiker standing side by side with a Beauty? The Lass shook her head, trying to think of a better way to put it. Either way, this woman was broad and big like a Wailord. Her big gut was hanging out of a white top that failed to cover most of her lower half, and she had big bouncing breasts that almost looked like she had stuffed Electrodes into her top, had they not been so soft and bouncy. They were easily bigger than her head, at the very least, and the Lass could see deep into her cleavage as a result. She was wearing a black vest, but it was pulled far apart, hanging to the sides of her breasts.
The Lass was transfixed by the heavy waddle this enormous brown-haired women had, her thighs reminding the Lass of a Hariyama's legs, only soft, pink, and jiggly. They rubbed together with each step, each seeming almost as wide as the Lass herself. The girl's gut hung down past her waist to the point that the Lass couldn't tell that she was wearing shorts until she was close enough to spot them past her big muffin top that hung over the sides.
"Excuse me!" Hilda called, huffing and puffing to the nearby Lass. Her quivering gut came to a stop several seconds after she did, hands sinking into her thighs as she sunk over, trying to regain her breath. She had biceps like a Machamp with none of the definition, as plush and bouncy as the rest of her, chubby digits at the end. The Lass realised she wasn't much older than herself, having quite an attractive face that was consumed on all sides by fat. Her face was round and cherubic, with a big second chin that quivered with every word. If Hilda still had a neck, the Lass certainly couldn't see it.
"W-what is it?" The Lass asked cautious, an animal instinct in the back of her mind that this girl might try to eat her. She hadn't seen a woman this big in her life, it was a totally new experience. The closest she had gotten was that milk-selling Hex Maniac in her town who seemed to be fatter every time she saw her, but she was more on the chubby side rather than totally obese, and was top-heavy rather than rounded.
"You wouldn't happen to know where I can find a bike repair shop, would you?" Hilda asked with obvious embarrassment, and the Lass finally realised that she had been pulling a bike along with her. She had been so distracted by the girl and her figure that she hadn't noticed it at all, but the bike she was wheeling along seemed rather busted up. It was snapped in several places, and the wheels seemed bent. She hadn't tried to ride it, had she? Did she honestly think that it could handle her weight for even a second? Surely with an ass that seemed like each cheek would demand a full seat on its own, such a tiny saddle would simply sink in, never to be seen again?
Gawking at her, the Lass noticed that partially hidden under her muffin top were several pokeballs. So this fat girl was a trainer? Finally, some merit was coming from this encounter, the Lass had just been looking for a fight!
"Sure, I can tell you... if you can beat me!" The Lass proclaimed, brandishing a Pokeball.
"Hang on, can you give me a minute to catch my... oh, alright!" Hilda complained, then clumsily reached for hers, her fat arm making it difficult to reach across the width of her body all the way to her hip. After an awkward pause she managed to send out her first Pokemon, and the battle was underway.
"This isn't looking good..." Hilda grimaced at the beating her Pokemon were taking. Maybe she should have spent less time sampling the local cuisine and more time fighting wild pokemon. Hilda tended to prefer to stick to the roads recently, she was always so tired after wading through tall grass. To make matters worse, a quick check of her bag's potion pocket revealed she was fresh out of potions. She guiltily recalled spending the money she had put aside for healing items on a second round of last night's dinner. It had seemed like such a good idea at the time... Still, she had a backup plan: berries! While not as effective, you couldn't complain about free items.
"Berries, berries, where are you..." Hilda grumbled, searching through her bag for them. Snacking on them to keep her energy up on her trek back hadn't been the best idea in hindsight, but they were just so tasty! She had needed something to lift her spirits after she discovered that the entrance of the cave she had discovered was too narrow for her to fit into, and she had spent twenty minutes trying to force herself in, then unwedge herself. Her day had just gotten worse from there. Trying to speed up her return to the town by using her much-neglected bike had been a mistake. All she wanted to do was get back to that bakery before lunch...
She dug around in her berry pocket for a minute and Hilda's fat fingers finally made contact, wincing at the fact that all she had left was a few oren berries. Better than nothing, she supposed. She tried to avoid staring hungrily at them and their juicy goodness. She had been sweating so much, and she had run out water, and she was thirsty, and hungry, and...
Before she knew it one of the berries had already slipped between her lips. Well, one berry wasn't much of a loss. Two berries, even.
"Come back, Weavile!" She commanded, pulling the injured Pokemon back. The other trainer did the same, quickly fixing up her Pokemon with a high potion. "Don't worry, I'll fix you right up. I'll just give you a couple of these..."
She held out her hand, and her Weavile gave her a dirty look. Hilda looked down, and saw only one oren berry left in her hand. She gave a wide, innocent smile and patted it on the head after it reluctantly took it.
"Oh, you'll be fine. Now get back in there!" She said sweetly, pushing it away and fumbling for her next pokeball. Then fumbled some more, coming up short. Didn't she have another pokeball here? Weavile was her fifth pokemon, and she was sure she had a sixth.
"My Onix! Where's it gone?" Hilda exclaimed, searching under her muffin top for her pokeball. She searched all around the pockets of her overstretched shorts, then her bag. Nothing, nil! It was gone! She must have left it in the PC when she was home. How could she have made such a fatal mistake! When she looked back up, her Weavile was already on the ground, completely knocked out.
"Ha! I guess your Pokemon just weren't up to snuff!" The Lass laughed. This porky trainer wasn't much trouble at all! Okay, so if she had one more Pokemon she might have been able to clutch out the win, but that obviously wasn't the case!
Hilda sank to the ground in defeat, then felt a certain sensation under her belly as something stuck into the tender flesh. She reached under her gut, and found a fresh pokeball attached to her belt under there. Oh right, that was where she kept her pokeballs back when she was skinny! She had stopped doing that after her pot belly became too big for her to see her feet. She must have attached it before she put her shorts on this morning. Well, it was a little too late. The Lass seemed pretty happy about her victory, and Hilda got the feeling that she would feel very guilty if she reignited the battle now.
"Okay, hand it over!" The Lass held out her hand, Hilda gloomily relinquishing her lunch money, the Lass guiltily telling her where the nearest bike shop was anyway. Her face seemed to literally droop when she was upset due to the fat, and the Lass felt bad just looking at it. Hilda slinked away in defeat, broken bike in hand. Maybe it was time to go on a diet. Or maybe she could give up on this whole Pokemon Master thing and begin her journey on the road to Pokemon Gourmet...
