“Who ordered the triple peach passionfruit fiesta?” Asked a waitress dressed in a short-skirted uniform, fairly normal save for the long tail hanging out from under it and the young woman’s cute cat ears. One might have assumed that the tail and ears were merely accessories designed to shamelessly pander to the cafe’s male customers, but the waving of the tail and twitching of the ears were far too natural to be any sort of fake.
“Me!” Momoko waved wildly from her table, the waitress placing her gigantic serving on the table, having almost more ice cream in one glass than everybody else’s individual bowls combined. The entire group save for Kuroko had decided to go out to the mall after school, and ice cream had been at the top of each member’s priority list.
“It’s too bad Hotaru couldn’t make it.” Momoko said between mouthfuls.
“Well, it’s not her fault she had a date planned, we did decide this on the spot.” Aoi shrugged, Akari nodding.
“Exactly, it’d be downright sinful to interrupt a girl’s date!” Akari said passionately. “Imagine all of the flowers of romance we’d be strangling by missing this opportunity! For all we know, this could be the most important date of her-”
“She’s just going to a movie with her boyfriend, cool it.” Yui took the opportunity to shut Akari down before she really got going.
“But movie dates are a classic! They get to share a popcorn, and when it runs out and they both try to reach in and their hands meet, then she leans in onto his shoulder, and...” Akari trailed off under Yui’s glare of annoyance, slowly giving in. Yui gave a threatening smile to her that told her to not bring up the subject again, then turned her eyes towards Momoko, who had already managed to devour half of her gigantic parfait.
“You’re gonna get fat if you keep eating like that.” Yui pointed out, picking self-consciously at her chocolate and orange bowl. “That’s way out of control, girl.”
“No problem, I’ll just work it off later.” Momoko said without a second thought. She had no reason to, as her over the top eating habits had yet to have any noticeable impact on her, much to the shock and awe of her team. “Besides, my mom says I have a strong metabolism.”
She was about to dig in when she found herself transfixed by the swaying tail of the catgirl waitress as she left to take another customer’s order, Akari quickly noticing.
“What’s up?” She asked
“Oh, I was just thinking how I wouldn’t mind if I had cat ears like that waitress.” Momoko sighed wistfully, picturing herself with cute pink ears and a tail. There were a variety of humans with animal characteristics in Tokyo, a much higher density than anywhere else in the world, much like the tendency for many of the younger generation to have brightly coloured hair. “I was always kind of jealous of the catgirls in my class…”
“Don’t tempt fate like that.” Yui leaned in with distaste. “It’s like you’re asking for it to happen!”
“I’m just saying, a catgirl monster wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world!” Momoko complained. “Akari got something cute, why can’t I?”
“Wanting to get changed is a bad habit to get into.” Aoi spoke up. “I’d prefer you didn’t say it, not even as a joke.”
“Besides, even if you wanted a catgirl monster, you’d have to wait at least a year or so.” Akari chimed in. “We fought a cat monster a couple of months before you joined the team, and they tend to only repeat their gimmicks once a year or two.”
“It was just a what-if.” Momoko grumbled as she took another enormous spoonful of her parfait, then froze, and not just because of the brain-freeze.
“What is it now?” Akari asked, having long enjoyed how easy to read Momoko was.
“I just realised I forgot my purse!” Momoko nearly slammed her head face-down into the table in agony. “What am I gonna do!?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll pay for it.” Aoi sighed, pulling out her own purse. “But only if you promise to do your homework as soon as you get home.”
“Geez, what are you, my mom?” Momoko groaned, held at monetary gunpoint. “Are you sure I can’t just pay you back later?”
“Nobody on this team is failing their exams on my watch, young lady.” Aoi said sternly, adding the last part in a slightly joking tone of voice that nonetheless reminded Momoko of her actual mother. “You really need to be thinking about your future!”
“Lighten up Aoi, I’m sure it’ll be fine.” Akari said, but began to shrink under Aoi’s intense gaze.
“I should be directing this at you instead of Momoko, miss Akari!” Aoi began to lecture the wilting rose. “At least she’s not slacking off on her studies and telling herself that it’ll be fine since she’s hoping to settle down and raise a family straight out of high school!”
“Hey, that’s just a what-if!” Akari said defensively, starting to wolf down her strawberry gelato. “You never know what’ll happen! Besides, I said I was thinking about being a kendo instructor, didn’t I?”
“Because it doesn’t require you to study!”
“It’s a reasonable use of my talents!”
“Then why’d you write “housewife” on your future careers planning sheet?”
“You should try to be more like Aoi, Momoko.” Sakura chipped in while the cool blue and fiery red devolved into a petty argument. “She’s very responsible, you know?”
“More like no fun allowed. Don’t invite her to your parties unless you want everybody to go home.” Yui said, looking like she had been on the receiving end of hundreds of Aoi’s lectures.
“I’m fun! I can be very fun when I want to!” Aoi was wounded. “But somebody has to be the responsible one around here!”
“Now you’re even talking like my mom.” Yui jabbed her, and the two began to argue back and forth. Momoko quickly tuned out of the two’s bickering, her eyes following the waitress’s hypnotic tail until something caught her attention out of the corner of her eye in the cafe’s large mirror. A certain school uniform, and a certain long straight black haircut. Could it be…
“Your blackberry surprise, ma’am.” The waitress said, and lo and behold, Kuroko leaned forward just enough to fully expose herself from the blind spot she had been hiding in. Her eyes briefly met Momoko’s, and her usually cool eyes widened in panic as she immediately retreated back into hiding.
“Hey, Kuroko! Over here!” Momoko said obliviously, believing that she had just failed to notice her by chance, alerting the rest of the group.
“Huh? Kuro? Where?” Yui asked, squinting in the direction Momoko was facing. “Oh, there she is. Don’t be such a stranger, Kuro!”
“Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting to see you here.” Akari admitted, Kuroko turning slightly red.
“What?” Kuroko asked, her voice somewhat strained. “I’m not allowed to like ice cream too?”
“Were you hiding?” Yui asked suspiciously.
“I was not hiding.” Kuroko insisted. “Maybe you should start wearing your glasses again. Or is being blind as a bat fashionable these days?”
“You’re gonna need glasses by the time I’m through with you if you keep that attitude up, missy.” Yui fumed.
“Are you sure you wouldn’t like to come over, Kuroko?” Sakura asked with a gentle smile. “You kept looking over here after all. I didn’t want to bother you so I kept quiet, but...”
“You noticed me?” Kuroko’s eyes widened as she realised that Sakura’s occasional head turns hadn’t been for her immediate party. She immediately realised that she had let her expression slip, and crossed her arms while tilting her head downward to let her long bangs obscure as much of her expression as possible. “I mean, I was just looking your way because you kept making so much noise. Why would I want to associate with somebody they’ll probably kick out for disturbing the other customers?”
“Anybody ever tell you you’re too nice for your own good, Sakura?” Yui butted in rudely. “Kuroko hasn’t figured out how to have fun with anybody but herself yet.”
“I’d like her to come over here, I mean, if she wants to!” Momoko said enthusiastically, sensing a potential chance but lacking the tact to seek anything but the bluntest path to it. “It must be really lonely over there on your own! Plus, we were gonna go shopping when we were done!”
“It would be a good team-building exercise.” Aoi considered.
“I think it’d be quite lovely.” Sakura agreed.
“Don’t be a stranger!” Akari grinned.
“I’ll go with whatever the girls want, so whatever.” Yui reluctantly gave in.
“Don’t try to act like we’re friends or something just because we happened to bump into each other.” Kuroko resisted. “In fact-”
The conversation was cut off by a loud crash and some screaming from outside, and the group turned serious as the other customers recoiled or rushed outside to see what the commotion was. They already knew that there could be only one possible cause, and quickly rushed to the cafe’s bathroom, where a veritable rainbow of light burst from the doors before a group of extremely colourful magical girls emerged, confident that between the glamour that protected them and the panicking crowd, few would notice where the group of high schoolers went.
“Tremble, puny humans!” The monstrous woman cried. Her body was a study in contrasts. Rounded facial features made her seem much more cute and harmless than she was until someone noticed her razor sharp teeth and bright orange eyes. Unlike the bimbo monster from a few weeks ago, this monster could have likely passed as a normal human woman if she chose to since her figure was much more normal - average height, C-cup breasts, and somewhat wide hips - that was, until someone saw her from behind. For some reason, this monster was blessed or cursed with an ass that was too damn big. Each cheek was larger than her head and forced her black leotard into a thong. The small black half-cape she wore ended just above the absurd swells of her rear, ruining any attempt at looking regal or intimidating. Her image was completed with heavily bronzed skin and long, unnaturally platinum-blonde hair that had been straightened to the point of nearly resembling a wig. The monster stood amidst a crowd of fleeing civilians, confident that nothing could prevent it from causing chaos.
“I’ve come to conquer this mall in the name of-”
“Not so fast!” Momoko called as the entire team stood shoulder to shoulder in the doorway of the cafe, their poses causing somewhat of a squeeze, but it was too late to move without ruining their team’s alignment, and being able to form a solid line was important for magical girl teams.
“Hey, what gives!?” The impossibly bronze-skinned platinum-blonde monster-woman complained. “I just got here, you weren’t supposed to show up yet!”
“We’re always one step ahead of evil!” Akari declared, feeling a bit out of place in the lineup in her bridal gown.
“Like hell you are, everybody else got to rampage for an hour or two first before even one of you shows, but nooooo!” The monster raged. “Of course I get the whole squad!”
“Like anybody cares about your feelings.” Kuroko scoffed. “Too bad for you, you didn’t even get a chance to use whatever your powers are on anybody!”
“No way, I totally did!” The monster protested. “See! Over there! I got one of them!”
It pointed towards a woman who was incredulously clutching her gigantic bubble butt, having torn through her jeans. It was clear that the monster’s power caused the victim’s ass to swell out of control, causing mild discomfort and onlookers to hold up.
“Impressive, isn’t it?” The monster crossed her arms under her modest bust as the group looked on in distaste.
“Oh, so you’re one of the lame ones.” Akari said, the group simultaneously nodding in agreement.
“I’m not lame! You’re lame!” The monster retorted defensively. “Coming out here in your lame colour-coordinated outfits with your lame poses! Only little k1ds would think that’s cool!”
“Our poses are not lame!” The entire group said at once. Now it was personal!
“Whatever! Time to give you some buns, hons!” The monster snarled, and the team collectively panicked as they all realised that most monsters tended to have thematic consistency with the source of their attacks. In their haste to avoid a potentially awful display the group attempted to flee, only to find that thanks to their cramped position there was nowhere to go. The entire group bowled each other over as they tried to jump in different directions, with Momoko, Akari, and Yui all attempting to jump in conflicting directions and ending up going nowhere, while Aoi, Kuroko, and Sakura tumbled to the ground from bumping into each other but at least managed to retreat from the entryway.
“Out of my way!” Yui complained as she and the other two scuffled, nearly tripping on Akari’s dress as Momoko barely stayed upright by clinging to Akari’s shoulder. “Go left!”
“I’m going left! You go right!” Akari yelled back at her.
“Just move, it’s going to shoot!” Aoi yelled a warning as the group bickered, Aoi’s half picking themselves up and being far more ready to react than the other three were.
“Don’t worry, it hasn’t turned around yet-” Yui began before having her assumptions completely disproven by a sudden beam from the monster’s hand, striking the three tangled girls all at once.
Having not been directly hit by transformative magic before, the sensation of her body changing even a little was a new experience for Momoko. She could feel her ass swelling, growing larger, and softer as her skirt was pushed outward and her panties began to ride up. Previously mostly flat, her butt tripled in size and rounded out into a wobbling bubble butt that she could feel jiggle as she recoiled and tried to remain steady on her feet. She instinctively clutched it, feeling her hands sink into the expanse of flesh that was impossible to hide.
“You did not just do that!” Yui whined, clutching her own tanned rear end that was even more impressive than Momoko’s own thanks to the fact that she had wide hips and a pretty big butt to begin with. It was enough that her already short skirt completely failed to cover the bottom half of it, as well as exposing how her panties had completely vanished into the pillowy folds, before the magic of her uniform caught up and lengthened to preserve her modesty.
“Thank goodness it was just a regular beam! Thank goodness it came from her hand!” Sakura loudly sighed in relief from the sidelines, reminding the three that it could have been a lot more embarrassing to be on the receiving end had the worst occurred.
“You know what, you’re right.” Yui agreed, laughing bitterly. “Gotta look on the bright side of things.”
“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?” The monster complained. “What did you think I was going to do? Get your minds out of the gutter!”
“They get you too, Rose?” Yui asked with gritted teeth while the monster talked, Akari blushing and nodding.
“I don’t think you can see it, but I can sure feel it.” Akari reluctantly admitted.
“And now for the rest of you!” The monster cackled once it got over its indignation, firing another beam at the remaining three, who easily dodged the predictable projectile.
“Ha! You missed, moron!” Kuroko bragged before letting out an extremely girly squeal as the beam reflected off the mirror behind her and struck the three, albeit with less intensity than the initial group. Momoko watched as the three yelped and tried to tug their skirts downward as the skirts were pushed up and outward by undeniably impressive butts, although none as big as Momoko or Yui’s. Aoi and Sakura were blushing hard, but Kuroko seemed absolutely mortified by the experience.
“Get her!” Kuroko shrieked, and the entire group rushed in at once, the monster quickly realising that being mobbed by six magical girls at once was not going to end well.
“Wait, we can talk about this!” It squeaked before being hit with the force of a locomotive, lasting barely a minute before Kuroko let loose her strongest attack, pulverising her with her conjured staff.
“You’re the worst! Die! Die!” Kuroko stomped scorch marks where the monster had been while pulling her skirt down, even as her new ass wobbled with each stomp.
“Great, we’re going to go down as the team with the biggest butts in magical girl history.” Aoi moaned, head in her hands. “ almost clean slate for three years and this is what I get…”
“Hey, Akari, mind if I borrow that skirt?” Yui asked, looking irritated more than anything as she tugged on the hem of her skirt once again. “I feel like this one’s not gonna be enough.”
“Come on, it’s not that bad.” Sakura tried to calm the group down. “I think they look quite charming on you!”
“Not helping!” Yui gave her a death stare. “Besides, you only got half of it, you’ve got all the luck. I can’t believe they managed to get all of us in the first place!”
“Well, now we know never to start a fight indoors like that.” Akari noted, not looking forward to changing back into her uniform.
“Sakura is right, it could have been a lot worse!” Momoko declared, deciding to look on the bright side of things. “Imagine if it had been any of the other monsters we’ve fought so far!”
“Momoko is right.” Aoi agreed, taking the opportunity to recompose herself. “Out of all the times this could have happened, this is probably one of the least worst! So we can’t complain! In the past, entire teams have been transformed at once! One team got hit by a goth monster all at once, and for the rest of their tenure they all had to share the colour black!”
“Oh!” Momoko remembered who she was talking about. “So that’s why Kaleidoscope Black, Charcoal, Oynx, and Licorice were all on the same team! I always thought that was a weird theme!”
“Sounds like Kuroko’s dream team.” Yui laughed, Sakura shooting her a look of disapproval over prodding the moodiest member of their team when she was already in a bad mood.
“Let’s just go home.” Akari sighed. “And hope that we still fit into our clothes when we get there…”
--
“...and that’s what happened.” Momoko finished explaining to Hotaru, still getting used to the extra cushioning when she sat down on the steps outside the school. The busty bimbo giggled at her friends’ mild misfortune, Momoko noting that even Yui didn’t quite match Hotaru’s extreme proportions.
“That doesn’t sound too bad at all!” She laughed. “Maybe it was a good thing I wasn’t there, though. I’d be like, way out of control after something like that. It’s hard enough to find jeans as-is!”
“I don’t think I’d even want to see that.” Momoko shuddered slightly at an even more extreme Hotaru. It really had been a good idea to call it quits when she did.
“I’m just glad that our wardrobes adjusted and my uniform still fits fine.” Momoko mentioned. “Although it’s kinda hard to fit into shorts now and PE is a little embarrassing.”
“It is, isn’t it?” Hotaru gasped as she finally found a common point between her and the short, skinny girl. “Dresses are easier, but shorts are just so cute! Now I wanna see you like that, it already makes you look cuter!”
“You really think so?” Momoko was flattered, but had to admit that Hotaru’s tastes had gotten a bit extreme ever since her transformation. “Kuroko was really upset over it…”
“Kuro’s always been, like, super high strung over that kinda stuff.” Hotaru recalled. “It’s like, she keeps waiting for it to happen, but she’s super cautious and stuff, so it’s like, she just got super tense over it, ya know? Like it’s gotta happen eventually, right?”
“I think I get it.” Momoko said.
“You take care of her if anything big happens to her, okay?” Hotaru told her, taking her hand. “I dunno if Kuro’s gonna cry over it or just get super mad, but she might take it out on you guys when she doesn’t mean it, like, ya know?”
“I don’t think Kuroko needs or wants anybody to take care of her…” Momoko said reluctantly. “...but I’ll try!”
“She was actually super sensitive and shy when she joined the team.” Hotaru giggled, looking back on better times. “But she got pretty shook when the old Violet got changed and retired, and now she’s regular old Kuro.”
“So she’s just scared? I didn’t think Kuroko was scared of anything.” Momoko said in wonder.
“Maybe she isn’t! What do I know, anyway? I’m just guessing!” Hotaru laughed, giving Momoko a quick hug. “You gals just do your best, okay? I’ll be, like, your personal cheer squad!”
Momoko blushed at the mental image of Hotaru bouncing up and down in a cheerleader uniform.
“Got it!”
