"The Golem upgrade." Samus said, selecting the upgrade. Not much she could say about the last one, other than that she still wondered just why it was there, and had been glad that she had reset her upgrade via her power suit right before she left for the nearest bar. So it was onto another power suit upgrade, and she inserted the chip into her suit, waiting for the changes to begin.

Samus' suit began to glow, before suddenly disappearing, leaving Samus naked. She had taken off her zero suit to not have it affected by any power suit upgrade, leaving being nude the downside when something like this happened. Wondering where her suit had gone, Samus looked down to see her feet glowing. She lifted her foot to get a better look at it, before she suddenly froze and sent her foot crashing back down, a loud thunk of a hard material on metal, rather than of skin. Samus tried to lift her foot, but found herself unable to move anything below her knee, and making any attempt at moving other than falling over impossible. Samus took another look down to find that the glowing on her feet had stopped, and instead was rising up her legs, reaching her knees as she looked. She realised that her feet were now some hard orange gemlike material, gleaming off the light as it sat there, the muscle and bone gone underneath, spreading up to the rest of her body, immobilising her.

The diamond-like material slowly went up her thighs, reaching her hips and paralysing her from the waist down, leaving her unable to move her lower torso at all, creeping up as Samus raised her arms up in an attempt to keep control of them for as long as possible. The glowing reached her abdominals, stopping Samus from moving her back, Samus desperately trying to move in any way as it reached her arms, freezing them in place, raised at her sides. Samus stuck her neck up as it finally reached her neck, her features freezing in stone as Samus stood there unmoving, a look of anguish frozen on her face, her mouth open slightly on the smooth orange material.

A full minute later, of Samus panicking, unable to move in any way, frozen there as a statue, Samus suddenly regained control of her body, the sudden feeling making her lose her balance and fall heavily to the floor. Samus picked herself back up, chinking and scraping slightly as she pulled herself up, looking down at her new diamond hard body. Samus stretched, finding that she still had her full range of motion, and ran over to the mirror, falling heavily, but still as agile as her normal body. She looked at herself in the mirror, her orange body adorned with two solid blue gems on what were now her eyes, her facial expression shifting only in the material. She could move her face normally, and she discovered that like the Gel upgrade, her nipples and genitals had been erased, restoring some of her modesty. She opened her mouth and looked in, a having full teeth but an unmovable tongue, merely mimicking her mouth and throat.

She wondered just how hard the odd orange matter she was made out of was, and walked over to a metal container, slamming her fist into it as hard as she could. While she could feel the sensation of her hand hitting it, still retaining her sense of feeling, she felt no pain, and the steel of the container crumpled in where she hit it, Samus' fist completely undamaged.

"…" Samus said, forgetting that like her Gel upgrade, her mouth was now useless, walking back to the computer.
