"A distress call?" Samus said, the alert appearing on her screen as she leant forward in her chair. The distress call had come from a nearby satellite, and Samus brought up her scanner to try to get some information on it.

"Computer, can you tell me anything about that satellite?"

"There are no known records stored on this ship, but scan show that it is a research station with no hostile life forms on it."

"What kinds of life forms exactly?"

"Scanning." There was a moment as her ship scanned the satellite for life forms and any retrievable data. "Unable to recognise. However, scans show that the life forms are not lethal, and there are between twenty and fifty on-board."

"Hmm…" Samus thought over the situation. Her Power suit had been damaged on her most recent mission, and still wasn't in wearable condition. However, since there wasn't anything lethal on-board, she could still go down and investigate. After all, she couldn't just ignore the problem, as they were in a region of space far away from any Federation assistance. Samus made up her mind, and brought the ship into the station's docking bay, and retrieving an earpiece capable of scanning and maintaining an uplink to her computer. The distress signal was coming from deep within the station, but nothing she couldn't get to easily. Her ship landed, and Samus headed to the exit of her ship.

Samus's shoes made a soft clicking sound on the polished metal floors as she walked down a narrow hallway, bringing her hand to her ear to turn on her earpiece.

"Computer," She asked, "What is the quickest available route to the central computer?"

"There are two available routes." The soft monotone female voice replied. "You may follow the hallways directly to it, avoiding all side passages, or you may attempt to move through the ventilation system."

"Well, I know which one I'm taking…" Samus said, walking over to a nearby vent and prying the cover off. She crawled inside, and while she didn't have much room at the hips and the top was rather low, she could still move easily through the vents, taking directions from her earpiece and carefully making her way down the sharp drops. After a few minutes, Samus arrived in the central computer room, having saved herself a twenty minute walk there.

The main computer was just that, a small room with a row of computer terminals and a slightly ajar door off to her side. There wasn't any sign of life in the room, and Samus approached the computer, noticing a blinking light with a large red button next to it that Samus recognised as a standard distress call activator. She pressed the button to disable it, and turned to leave, stopping sharply when she heard a heavily synthesized voice intone,

"Signal disabled. Activate program 00243 HUNTER."

Samus immediately went on guard, hearing a clicking noise from above and a familiar hissing sound as something lowered down. A Metroid! She went tense as it lazily floated in front of her, and she noticed that it was oddly small. Most of the Metroids she fought were almost as big as her when fully grown, but this one was only as big as a soccer ball. It didn't matter either way, as Samus began to slowly back away, before the Metroid suddenly charged at her, Samus diving out of the way and into a roll to avoid it. However, with no way of attacking it herself, the Metroid quickly turned around to charge her again, this time managing to latch onto her abdominals! Samus felt a wave of panic go over her as she tried to do something to get it off her, but found that she strangely couldn't.

Samus felt a strange, lightheaded feeling go over her, a vaguely pleasant one that left her unable to do anything but stare vacantly ahead without a thought in her head, her hands dropping to her sides as she felt a pressure on her abdominals, the Metroid swelling up like all Metroids did when latched onto someone,  growing until it reached its limit, detaching and floating away, pushing the door open and leaving Samus' sight.

After a moment, Samus regained her senses, shaking off the light headed feeling and looked down, gasping in shock at what she saw. The Metroid hadn't killed her, or even pierced her zero suit. However, her belly, rather than flat and toned like it usually was, was round and bulging out, Samus looking like a pregnant woman in her late second trimester! Samus prodded her new belly, finding that it was firm rather than soft, and felt just as heavy as the real thing.

Samus was shocked by her new growth, and contacted her computer. "Computer," She said. "Just what was that Metroid?"

"Species of Metroid unknown. Uploading scan data…" The voice replied, processing the data obtained from the first Metroid. The subject appears to be an engineered subspecies of Metroid, designed not to absorb energy, but rather to implant another form of energy into a host. This results in an immediate swelling of the target area that, while not harmful, results in a drastic loss of agility and speed."

"Great…" Samus said. It definitely wasn't good news, but she at least wasn't dead, and contacted her computer again. "Scan for the positions of all life-forms on the ship. Identify the non-lethal life-forms as well."

"Scan complete. There are more than fifty life-forms on-board, all of them examples of the same specimen examined before."

"That's just great…" Samus said. But at least they weren't lethal, meaning she could still get back to her ship. She decided to get going, and began to walk towards the door when she heard another hissing sound from behind her like from before. She quickly turned around to see another Metroid emerge from the vent she had come through and stood alert, determined to do better this time. The Metroid charged at her, Samus diving like before into another roll. Or what would have been a roll, had her large belly not screwed up the motion, leaving Samus face up on the floor.  Before she could get back up, the Metroid quickly latched onto her inviting target of a belly, Samus going lightheaded like before as her belly and the Metroid swelled, her belly growing until she looked like she was ready to give birth, and maybe overdue.

With its job complete, the Metroid detached and floated away through the door, leaving Samus to slowly pick herself up, still dazed from the attack. Two attacks, and she hadn't even made it out of the room. She looked down, unable to see her feet, and feeling extremely heavy and off balance from the extra weight. There was no way she could fit into the vents now, so it looked like she was taking the long way. She was just glad that her zero suit could stretch so much, since it looked like she'd be needing it. Samus walked out of the room, getting used to her new, slower pace.

Samus turned down the second corner, already starting to feel some additional strain from her belly. With her loss of mobility, there'd be no way for her to avoid any attacks… Something that was quickly when two small Metroids darted around the corner, only as big as tennis balls, both latching onto her breasts before she could react, Samus moaning gently from the combined pleasure and sensitivity as they swelled up, the Metroids detaching and leaving her with much bigger breasts than before, her larger nipples starting to show a slight dent through the fabric. Samus figuring that she had to get out of here as quickly as possible, breaking into an awkward jog, her breasts starting to jiggle slightly despite the support of her zero suit.

Samus made it round a few more corners, lasting a full two minutes before she saw another few Metroids floating down towards her. She rushed for a nearby door, opening and slamming it shut behind her, the metal stopping them from following her. Unfortunately, she then had to worry about the two large Metroids waiting for her inside the otherwise empty room, immediately latching onto her belly and breasts, Samus going extremely light-headed and barely able to stand, sliding down onto the floor and accidentally turning the door's handle as she tried to clutch it for support, the door opening behind her and allowing the Metroids to float away, leaving Samus to slowly regain her senses.

Her belly had swollen to look like she was at least nine months along with twins, Samus barely able to wrap her arms around it, while her breasts were each almost the size of her head,  her nipples tenting obviously through the stretched-thin material of her zero suit. Tired from the strain of supporting her heavier body, Samus let herself rest for a minute, before very slowly pulling herself up. If she got any bigger, she didn't think she'd be able to pull herself back up again if she stopped to rest. She held her belly from underneath with her hands as she adjusted for the weight, walking slowly out of the room.

She didn't get far before two Metroids came up behind her, latching onto her rear and swelling it, Samus unable to move as her hips widened and her thighs thickened, giving her an exaggerated pear figure to match the rest of her body, noticeable even with the rest of her body, before they flew off. Unlike before though, Samus found that she actually welcomed the growth, the wider bottom allowing her to support herself much better. Samus swayed as she walked on, breaking out into an even slower jog than before, her hips swinging as she moved.

Samus panted heavily as she pressed herself against a wall. Getting up a flight of stairs had been an extremely difficult task, and while Samus was normally an extremely physically adept person, she felt like she could collapse from carrying all the additional weight, her huge breasts lying on her belly. She was too exhausted to move when another Metroid floated towards her, Samus trying to push herself up for a moment before stopping, resigned to the inevitable growth that ensued, her belly swelling out even further to the size of carrying quadrupletsz. Samus pushed herself back up, moving towards the exit. Only a couple more rooms to go and she would be back on her ship.

A minute later and Samus was finally back in the docking bay, her ship still untouched and ready to leave. Samus took a minute trying to climb onto the top of her ship, eventually sliding up backwards when it became obvious that a frontal attempt was impossible. She pushed herself up, standing on the entrance platform as it began to lower… Before getting stuck. Her belly and hips simply wouldn't fit through, and Samus sighed for a moment before turning on her earpiece.

"Computer, open the cargo bay."
