"The Fangirl upgrade." Samus said, selecting the upgrade. She was currently standing in a sparkling clean room, the adjacent rooms the same. All the writing had been removed from the walls, and all the dust had been swept away in Samus' cleaning frenzy. She still wasn't quite happy about upgrades that made her act like that, but was curious as to just what a Fangirl upgrade could mean. Surely it couldn't do what the name said, how would that even work? Whatever it could do, it would be better than cleaning and speaking in some incomprehensible dead language. She took the upgrade from the machine and inserted it into her zero suit, waiting for the changes to begin.

Quickly, Samus' suit began to glow, before ceasing quickly. The material of her suit began to change, changing from the latex-like material to a soft, but cheaper looking shiny fabric, losing the slightly hard quality to it. While it was still tight, it was even thinner than her normal suit, and rather than the flawless second-skin nature of before, it creased and folded as she moved,  matching the fabric it had changed to. The blue of her suit was slightly lighter than normal, and the black lines of her suit were slightly raised, sewn onto her suit and not completely smooth on its curves. The dark blue sections on her arms and legs were also sewn on, the symbol on her back having a thin black outline from where it was similarly sewn on. Her shoes separated from her suit, looking more like regular thick heeled shoes redesigned to match her suit. Finally, a zipper appeared on her back, running clearly down it, completing the effect.

Due to the change affecting her whole suit, it only took a few seconds, and the overall effect was of someone making a costume of her zero suit, rather than the actual suit itself. But before Samus could take a look at herself, the second set of changes began.

First, Samus' hair took on a brighter blonde, looking artificial and bleached, rather than her natural colour. Her hairstyle rearranged itself, appearing to be carefully combed to be like her normal hairstyle, rather than falling naturally into it. Next, her breasts shrank a size, filling out her suit a bit less as her hips narrowed a bit as well, while the muscular tone of her body softened to that of someone who was fit, rather than strong, and more slender than anything tough.

With her changes complete, Samus walked over to the mirror to take a look at herself, her changed zero suit feeling odd on her. When she took a look at herself, she thought that she looked more like someone dressing up as her, rather than actually being her. She was wondering what the point of the upgrade was when she froze for a second, the final part of the upgrade modifying her brain. She unfroze, and took a look at herself in the mirror, pulling a pose as a wide smile went over her face. She walked back to the computer, and took a look at her armour and ship, eyes widening like she'd never seen them before. She gave out a yelp of excitement, before yelling out,

"This is so cool!" She rushed over to her power suit, taking a good look over it, before rushing onto her ship, practically squealing at getting to look over what was still technically her ship, something that she had previously seen thousands of times, before remembering what she was here for and running over to the computer.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Samus said, as she looked over the list of upgrades for what would be the most fun to try.
