"The Medieval upgrade." Samus said. This one was another Power suit upgrade, and it didn't seem like it'd turn her into anything strange. She was wondering what Medieval would mean for her armour anyway. She took the chip and inserted it into her armour, waiting for it to change.
Strangely, her armour didn't glow this time. It fact, it seemed to lose the shine of its alien metal, and appeared a bit duller, although no less strong. Even without the usual glow of her suit, the changes still progressed. First her shoulder spheres grew smaller, less than half their original size, and lost their curved in more, losing the rubber like area that connected it to her arm in exchange for flexible leather, covered by a thin sheet of metal. Instead of the green light of her normal armour, two large emeralds appeared on what were now her pauldrons. Her upper arm's metal shrank inwards into a smaller layer of metal, connecting to her gauntlets, retaining most of their size. The glove part of her gauntlet gained layered sheets on the top half to allow for full flexibility of her fingers and hands, while the bottom half changed to leather. Her arm cannon shifted into the same gauntlet as her other arm, although with the addition of a crossbow on top, fully strung and ready to use.
Her chest armour pulled in as well, becoming a bit more form fitting, moulding around the chest for her breasts, the upper part becoming much thicker, while her lower abdominals gained a separate piece to allow her to bend over. Her legs lost the bumps on her upper thighs, becoming a bit sleeker at the lower half changed into greaves, connected to the upper half by more leather. She lost the tough rubberised heel of her boot in exchange for a full metal one, completing the bulk of her changes. On her waist a belt appeared, along with a red loincloth trailing down to her ankles, and a quiver of crossbow bolts for her wrist-crossbow.
All of the lights on her suit went out, and many of the lines of her suit disappeared, a slightly duller shade of yellow and orange comprising the colours of her suit. The visor of her helmet disappeared, along with the half-sphere bumps on the sides and her air supply, the helmet disconnecting from the rest of the suit as a sallet covered the now empty area to protect her eyes.
With her changes complete, Samus walked over to inspect her suit of armour in the mirror, moving slightly more loudly than usual. She took of her helmet, obscuring part of her vision, in order to get a better look at herself.
"Interesting
But 'twould seem to be a step backwards
I would warrant this shan't be of particular use to me." Samus said, oblivious of her wording and accent as she made her way back to the computer.
