"The Shadow Siren upgrade." Samus said, selecting the upgrade. She still didn't like the personality change that the Angel upgrade had brought on, even if it had been the opposite of the Succubus upgrade. Ironically, her Angel upgrade had been disabled the same way as the Succubus upgrade, trying to get into her suit, which automatically reset her. Which brought her to her current upgrade, which fell into the "I don't know what that name means so I guess I'll try it out" category. She took the chip from the machine and inserted it into her suit.

Immediately, her suit began to glow, and Samus's skin felt strange, like something was being pressed over it. She couldn't see past the glowing, and walked over to the mirror to get a better look at herself. By the time she got there, the glowing had stopped, and everything below her neck was a solid blue colour, with no indication that she was wearing anything other than a smooth layer of paint. Samus noticed that like another of the upgrades, her nipples and genitals had disappeared, as well as her belly button and any skin definition, now completely smooth. She brought her hands up to her waist, and touched her body to find that her suit was no longer there, having merged with her skin. And her skin, on the other hand, couldn't really be defined as skin, or at least not feeling like it. It felt more like touching an extremely soft silk, and as she wondered what had happened to it, she saw the colour changing to a dark purple colour, the colour spreading from her neck to the rest of her head, Samus now looking slightly comical, completely purple from head to toe.

Before she could think any more, Samus' feet pushed themselves together of their own accord, Samus pressing her hand against the mirror to keep herself upright. Slowly, her feet began to merge together into a single sleeve up to her waist like the Naga upgrade. But unlike that upgrade, her feet began to become smaller and thinner, until they were a thin point that looked like they were barely touching the ground. From her ankles up they remained almost as thin, until the thinning reached halfway up her thighs, which remained just as curvy as ever, giving her new tail a wispy look. Samus brought her hand off the mirror as she realised that she could balance perfectly well, finding herself able to glide on the slight point, more like floating than holding herself up, the tip of her tail sometimes leaving the floor altogether.

She brought herself back in front of the mirror, just in time for the rest of the changes. The features on Samus' face began to disappear, her nose flattening until the area was smooth, her eyebrows fading away as her eyelids closed and seemed to just disappear, leaving her face blank apart from her lips, Samus still finding herself able to see despite the lack of eyes. Seemingly to make up for the lack of other features, Samus' lips plumped up a bit, becoming slightly bigger and fuller, making them stand out more, as well as turning a light purple colour, almost a dark pink. Two small circles of the same pink colour appeared on her cheeks, giving Samus a slightly friendly look. Her ears receded back, leaving smooth skin in their place, covered by Samus' hair. And as for her hair itself, her fringe began to grow in length, until it covered where her eyes used to be, brushing where her nose once was. All in all, Samus thought, it gave her a rather wispish look.

Finally, a pair of white gloves formed over Samus' hands, and a dark blue and white striped wizard's had appeared on her head, the tip flopping over. Her transformation complete, Samus took a good look at herself in the mirror, not quite sure what to think of the transformation. When she looked at herself, she had a very intangible look to her, like she could fade away if she wanted to.

"Hmm… I wonder if I can walk through walls or something?" Samus asked herself, before proceeding to find out.
