"The Hourglass upgrade." Samus selected from the list. On reflection, she probably should have become visible before she tried to use the keyboard. At least she knew what this one was going to do, if she judged by the other upgrades. She took the chip from the machine and plugged it into her zero suit, and waited for the change to begin.

Immediately, Samus' chest began to swell up, growing a few sizes while her hips widened out, her waist becoming thinner, giving her the hourglass figure that the name suggested. Samus was used to something like this by now, and walked over to the mirror, hips swaying and breasts jiggling on her frame. She looked over herself, noticing that her hips and breasts, while not huge, her breasts still smaller than her head, they were also equally wide, matching the width of each other perfectly when she stood straight. Nothing too notable, and Samus gave a quick sigh. She wished they could go back a minute and pick something a little different.

Suddenly, Samus' view went completely white, a strange sound of sand sifting going through her ears as she felt the sensation of falling, and as quickly as it started, it ended. Samus swayed as she regained her footing, and looked around, wondering what had happened. When she looked around, she had to stifle a gasp as she saw herself, wearing the striped suit of the Cheshire upgrade! She was turned the wrong way and appeared to be at the computer, fading back into visibility. Samus wondered what was going on, and remembered what she had wished for before. She thought for a moment, and experimentally wished it were a couple of hours ago. Her vision went white again and the sound of sand and the feeling of falling began, lasting a second longer this time, before she fell back to reality.

Samus shook her head to dispel the tingling in her head, and heard distant giggling coming from another room, as well as the faint sound of high heels on metal. It looked like her theory was correct, and she had travelled back in time! It appeared to be during her Princess upgrade, and while she was ditzily running around the ship. Samus wondered if she should go and mess with the computer or talk to herself, although she quickly put those down as a bad idea. She didn't want to end up causing a time paradox over her curiosity. Besides, she doubted that her airheaded self had anything interesting to say anyway. She decided to try to go back further, and wished it were a day ago. The feelings quickly began, and Samus felt like it was going much longer this time, before she came back down again.

She quickly walked over to the black screen of the computer, displaying only a readout of the date, which Samus quickly confirmed to be the day before. She caught a glimpse of her reflection on the screen, and noticed that her breasts seemed to be a little bigger. She quickly walked over to the mirror, noting that her breasts definitely seemed to be jiggling a little more, and examined herself. Her suspicion was confirmed as she saw that her breasts were a bit bigger, each nearly the size of her head now. She looked at her lower half, and also saw that her hips were a little thinner now, still generously wide, but not quite as much as before. Samus supposed it was like an hourglass, with time going into the top half as she went back, apparently represented by her mammary glands.

Samus thought about what she could do with her new power, getting slightly giddy at the possibilities, and wished that it were a year ago, long before she had ever even heard of the satellite. She fell into the white void of before, falling for what seemed like an eternity, but was only a couple of minutes, before she hit reality once again. She quickly rushed over to the computer, and was slightly disappointed to see that she had only travelled back a month. She supposed she had to have limited, and noticed in her peripheral vision that her chest seemed to be heaving, even when she looking slightly upwards. She looked down, and was completely unable to see the ground below her, massive breasts the size of melons obstructing her view. They heaved and jiggled just from her breathing, and bounced up and down as she walked over the mirror. After she had gotten over how huge her breasts were, she saw that her hips were basically non-existent, completely flat and devoid of any curves. She hadn't had hips like that since she was a little girl, and it made her exaggeratedly thin waist harder to notice.

Samus decided to try the future, and wished she was back in the present, only a hour ahead. The long wait of time traveling didn't bother her this time, as she reached her destination. She didn't notice much of a change on her now back to normal hourglass curves, as she looked around herself. She couldn't see herself, but could hear herself going on about something. Something to do with who was worthy or something. She supposed she shouldn't spoil anything for herself, and sent herself as far as she could go into the future. When she got there, she had a quick look around, and she couldn't find herself, of course. She had to leave at some point, after all. She noticed that while the place had to have been empty for days or weeks, the place definitely seemed a bit cleaner than before. Things shined and the air had less dust in it, but she didn't dwell on that for long, focusing more on her reflection on the mirror.

Like her travel  into the past, one part had grown, and one part had shrinked, only in reverse this time. Her chest was as flat as a board, but her hips were absolutely massive, Samus having to hold out her arms diagonally just to lay them on them, and she'd have some difficulties getting through doors with them. She also noted that while her hips were huge, they still weren't as huge as the Pear upgrade. Nothing seemed to get as extreme as that one. Samus jumped back to the present, maybe a few minutes or twenty off, but back in the present.

"Oh, this one's going to be a lot of fun…" Samus said to herself, making a note to grab it again as soon as possible.
