(Various TF / Clown Themes)
I have a confession to make… ever since I was a young girl I have always loved clowns. Sadly today most people think of those jolly jesters as horrifying monsters that scare people young and old, but all real clowns want to do is make you smile. My first experience with clowns was when I was seven and my family took me to the circus, the sights, smells, and sounds still dance around in my head to this day, just like that clown. She wore a frilly pink dress with hearts patterned, her hair was like someone stuck cotton candy to her head as it was a large pink swirl (and smelled like it), her big floppy feet, white gloves, and that permanent smile telling the world to smile alongside her. I can still remember every tick she performed, from tripping over her large shoes and falling face-first into a conveniently paced pie, or her juggling act on a unicycle where she lost control and crashed into another clown and her balls fell onto her head one by one. But even after all of the slapstick comedy she endured, she stood up with a large smile on her face that was shining brightly through her painted one. I wanted to be able to pick myself up and smile like her, but sadly the world doesn’t work like that….
“Mary! Earth to Mary!” a woman shouted my name right next to my ear. As I groggily opened my eyes I stared at the hefty blond woman with an angry look on her face, Bethany Jordan just the person to make my already crappy day worse. Sleeping through my alarm caused which me to miss breakfast and my train making me late to work took the cake so far.
“What do you want?” I asked half asleep.
“I’m sorry did I wake you from nap time?” she sarcastically remarks. “We don’t pay you to sleep on the job and this is the second time this week. Now get back to work and or your fired.”
I yawned stretching out as I looked at my boring computer, in my boring cubical, in this boring office, with me working this boring job. “Sorry, boss won’t happen again,” I said as I spun my chair away from her and back to my computer hoping she would leave me alone.
She slammed her fist against my desk and looked me in the eye, “Right now you have the lowest production in the office I am more than happy to fire you and replace you with someone more qualified and who takes their work seriously!”
I thought of hundreds of remarks and jokes I can fire back at her, but I bit my lip and shut up and I knew that one more tiny thing would get me fired. And without this boring dull job, I wouldn't have any stable income, that's the kind of world we live in.
Just like life, I Mary Howard was as boring as can be. I was your average girl never sticking out just blending in. My looks were nothing to complement, my short hazel hair was just that, not a beautiful cascade of brown like a chocolate fountain just plain. Sure I was skinny, but it was more of a boring type of skinny as I wasn’t blessed with curves or any kind. And just like my appearance, my daily life was just as boring. Wake up, shower, go to work, go home watch tv, and maybe watch some clown videos, then bed. And rinse and repeat. The only things that I looked forward to were “if” the circus ever came to town, which was seldom, and the weekly comedy club.
The comedy club was the only place I felt free. While I was up there telling jokes and tripping and falling “purposely” on my props I felt like I can really be me. While the audience was laughing at my clumsiness and jokes I was laughing also with them. When my audience smiled I smiled and that was all I need to get through my week. I would spend the entire night preparing my skits and running through my jokes in the mirror, even though I rehearse everything I left room for improv and my own clumsiness to let loose.
After hours of mindless typing and clicking, it was finally break time. I stretched as I got up from my desk, my legs were a bit numb from all of the sitting but I figured it was nothing to worry about, my body never liked staying in one place for long. While I was on my way to the break room taking the longest route possible to scratch my legs I saw something in the corner of my eye.
It looked like a pink and white oval it was comically large and round. I couldn't make out much of it was it was just a flash in vision. I turned my head to look over at it but it was gone I looked around the office for it not paying attention to where I was walking, and that was my downfall literally. My heeled foot was swept from the ground, as my vision shot in front of me I noticed that I tripped on an exposed power cord, which was nothing new for me, I trip on my feet every day. I tried to steady myself but I was never any good with heels, frankly, I don’t even know why I wore them as all they did was make my feet uncomfortable and made it annoying to walk. My attempts at trying to steady myself failed as my vision moved closer and closer to the ground. My arms flailed as I tried to grab something to catch myself, they caught something alright. Bethany Jordan. She was walking around the corner carrying a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a stack of what had to be important papers.
The two of us came falling to the ground like a bag of bricks. I somehow managed to flip myself landing with my back against the ground and the coffee and my superior on top. My white blouse and the papers were painted brown. My body hurt like hell. I hit the back of my head upon landing and my less than cushioned butt didn’t help at all, I had hot coffee spilled on my chest, by worst of all I had a beached whale flattening me. I wished I could get to my feet and smile as people surrounded us laughing, but the world doesn’t work that way. And there I was in pain my body sore, burnt, and crushed I wished I spring up like it was nothing like the clowns do, but once again that is not how life works. You don’t get applauded for acting like a fool and messing everything up, you get fired. And stepped out of the office building for the last time and into the pouring rain that formed without warning.
“Ugh! I can’t believe that bitch!” Bethany snorted as she dabbed her blouse with paper towels. “At least I can finally get her out of my hair, and finally get someone more serious. Suddenly the door opens, “Johnson is that you? If it is you are just the person I want to see and help me relieve some stress.”
A sharp-dressed handsome man enters the room. “I heard what happened, that chick made a complete fool out of herself.”
“Yeah, and me too!” Bethany, she closes the blinds and locks the door ensuring that no one would ruin her stress relief, “Take off your clothes, you're going to get eating out tonight.” She slips out of her skirt and panties tossing them on the ground. Bethany sat down and spread her fat cheeks giving the man a perfect view of the fat rolls of her pussy.
“Yes ma'am,” he says, he tosses his clothing off each peace landing in front of her. Finally, he tosses a rubber mask that captured his likeness perfectly and then a rubber bodysuit.
‘What’s going on?” Bethany shouts staring at the smiling rubber mask in front of her. She tried to move but her arms and legs were tied down with balloons? “Let me go, do you know who I am.” She moans as something was inserted into her pussy. “What are you doing? I will sue you!” she shouts in panic.
“You thaid you wanted to relieve thtress! And you know what helpth me?” A high-pitched squeaky voice laughs, “Balloons!” The sound of a crank being pulled fills joys in with the squeaks of laughter.
“W-w-what are you doing?” she moans in panic as cool air starts to flow inside of her. “Who are you!?
The figure steps in view of the trapped woman. Her body was around a completely smooth oval. She wore a jumpsuit one half being pink with white stripes and the other being white with pink hearts, large puffy buttons shaped like hearts ran down the middle stopping at her midsection where a frilly pink tutu jutted out and had ruffled pink collars around her neck and ending at the suit's arms and legs. Her arm seemed to start at her elbow and was long and skinny like a noodle and was tipped with large white four-finger gloves. She didn’t appear to have legs just feet sticking out of the bottom of the oval. She was wearing large brightly colored shoes with oversized toes even for clown shoes. Her head was no different having a bright pink smile panted on it, as well as a matching set of hearts on her cheeks and around her eyes. And her nose was a large pink ball that looked to take up most of her face. Her hair was cotton candy pin and style in a pair of pigtails that created a heart shape. But the most noticeable feature besides her body was a pair of massive buck teeth that stuck out of her mouth like a sore thumb. “Nameth Heart!” she picks up an air canister with a hose coming from it, “And I’m going to blow you up just like me!”
“Why are you doing this to me?” she grunts. The air filling the woman’s body was irritating at first but now it was pleasure full. She moaned and rocked as she was filled more and more. Soon her fat belly started pushing against the chair that was tied to holding her to the ground as she became larger and rounder. Soon pop, pop, pop. Her buttons popped off her shirt letting her beachball-sized belly burst free, causing her to giggle.
“You were being a big meany and made the poor girl sad,” the clown laughs. “And balloonth alwayth cheer me up!”
“Please stop *giggle*! I’m *giggle* sorry!” Why did she find her inflating belly funny she could not answer just watching her own body inflate like a balloon was funny enough for her as she became airheaded. She continued to laugh as her body started to join her belly in inflating. Soon she was nothing but a large ball that took up most of the room with arms legs and a head poking out. She didn’t care about her new immobile form she laughed hysterically. Suddenly she popped out of her restraints become too big for them. All of the fear and stress in her head was pushed out and replaced with air causing her to laugh as her brain was reduced to mostly helium.
“Feeling better balloon?” Hearths gloved finger poked her sinking into her skin, “Hath all of that thtress flown away.”
“You bet Miss!” the inflated Bethany laughs her voice sounding like she downed a can of helium, “I feel so light and free!”
“Well your not done yet balloon!” Hearth cheers.
“What do you mean,” the balloon asks.
“Your not a true balloon yet!” Hearth says as she turns the handle further.
“Please turn me into a true balloon!” she pleads.
“Already a head of you.” Heart says with a smile.
Bethany squeals in joy as a new feeling fills her body, it was lighter than before and before she knew it she was floating off the ground. Pop! She looked in the direction of the popping noise, but her massive belly was in the way. Pop! Another rubbery pop rang out. Once again it was out of sight, but for some reason, she could not feel her feet. Feet? Did she even have feet she was a balloon they don’t have feet? Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw a wave of pink creeping up her body. She watched with a half-aware smile as her skin was replaced with shiny pink rubber that crept up her body and stopped at her head. Pop! This time she could see where the sound came from. To the right of her something was missing she couldn’t tell what, but her other side had a hand sticking out of it, should the right side have one as well? Pop! Never mind, balloons don’t have hands.
The balloon known as Bethany’s belly started to stain against itself feeling like it was about to burst open from the air inside of it. But she didn’t mind as her mind was as light as a cloud. And then POP! In an instant, her overinflated belly, breasts, and ass coved in pink rubber were smoothed over in a perfectly smooth ball. The ball shifted turning into a more teardrop shape like a regular balloon. Her body was hollow and filled with air and no trace that it was once human. Without the weight of organs she felt free, she bounced around only held down by the nozzle plugged into her. She laughed and bounce as she was nothing but a bouncing balloon.
“Am I a true balloon yet!” the balloon asked through her laughs.
“Thorry, balloon your not a true balloon yet.” Hearth says with a pouty face.
“Why not?” she wined. If she wasn’t a true balloon what was she. She had to be a free bouncing balloon.
Heart puts her hands on her hips and waves her finger at her, “Latht time I thecked balloonth don’t have headth?”
The balloon took a second to think, as her mostly air brain made it hard. Oh, right she had a head. With that thought, her transformation continued, as her head started to get pulled down into her body, her laughs became muffed as it pushed down past her mouth as she shrank further. She thought about how fun and stress-free it would be bouncing in the hands of someone without a care in the world. She smiled ear to ear as her rubber skin creaked and rubbed as her head sank further down, and with one final laugh, POP!
The balloon's visions shifted now in the center of its body. She saws her reflection. She was a massive pink balloon with a white outline of her fine, but it was different? Was it she thought that the printing on her looked off. Poofy afro, check. Makeup, check. Balloon pattern’s on her cheeks check. Big goofy smile, check. And the big nose, check. Everything was there! If anything was off it didn’t matter to her as she couldn’t think about anything besides bouncing and floating as she didn’t have a brain to think about anything else just full of air. The balloon bounced happily in place, with the only things on her mind float, float, float, bounce, bounce, bounce. A hissing is heard but she pays no mind until she realizes that she is shrinking.
“Don’t mind me balloon, jutht thhrinking you to a more appropriate thize.” she says turning the handle in another direction.
“Oh, that’s it?” She thought, “Back to bouncing.” she liked being massive and full of air, but she was a special balloon so she knew that she would be inflated massively again. That thought made her happily bounce.
“Balloon I have a job for you.” Heart laughs. The balloon turns and faces them. “I have a little girl that you would be perfect for what do you thay?” The balloon bounced up and down as if she was nodding her head. “Well, thith ith a thpecial job that only a happy balloon like you can do.”
The balloon leans in close she was a happy balloon! She was perfect! She could hardly contain her excitement bouncing back and forth.
“All right, I’m going to have to deflate you firtht.” she giggles. Heart popped the nozzle from the balloon before she could react.
The balloon was sent flying around the room wildly as the air escaped from her. She screamed with excitement as she flew around. To her, it was like a rollercoaster with loops that never stopped. Soon her air diminished and she plopped down on the chair once more resting in her torn clothing. With a final prffft the last of her air left her. She laid limp and helpless, just and sack of pink rubber with a clown face printed on it. She wanted to be inflated once again and float and bounce around happily as a balloon should. But instead, she lay there anticipating the rush of being inflated.
An oval-shaped shadow loomed over the helpless pink rubber, “Don’t worry balloon you will be inflated thoon enough.” A white four-fingered glove picks up the deflated balloon and she looks her holder in the face, “I will explain our plan on our way to the next destination.”
The door clicks open. Johnson enters the empty room. “Hello? Bethany, you wanted me to help you relieve your “stress”.” He looks around the room his boss is nowhere in sight he noticed something on the chair her discarded shirt and looking past a table her discarded skirt and panties. Alongside his clothes? And a rubber mask and bodysuit of him? He decided to leave and try not to think about it.
My train ride home wasn’t any better than what happened morning. First, I stepped in gum that was seemed to be glued to the ground causing me to fall into a large puddle getting my already stained shirt soaking wet as well as my personal items to get soaked as well. Due to my fall, I just missed the train by a second and had to wait for another, which I missed due to nature calling. I finally got onto the train and was sandwiched between two large soaking wet people, one of them fell asleep and their head constantly fell on my shoulder despite my best efforts.
After accidentally missing my stop, I slipped out of the soggy sandwich that I was the center of. And after more walking in the rain, I was finally to my tiny apartment boring. Upon opening the door my butt was met with the floor again as I slipped upon something. I looked on the ground, bills and a lot of them, and now that I no longer had the income to pay I was out of luck. I just wanted to strip out of my soaked clothing and flop onto the couch and pass out, which I did without hesitation.
I just wanted to forget that this day ever happened and sleep it away, but I knew that once I woke up she had to deal with the bleak life I had. Soon I would be out on the streets, moving back in with my parents wasn’t an option as they were strongly and vocally against my passions and goal of being a comedian. And if they found out that I lost my job, they wouldn’t even acknowledge me, unlike my sister who grew up to be successful according to them. Everything seemed to go right for her, while my life was a series of mistakes and fumbles.
After a few hours, I woke up and looked at the clock on the wall, 7:35. I shot up from the couch I was going to be late for the comedy club. My day had been absolute crap but I wouldn’t let it ruin the one thing that I looked forward to. “Wait I set an alarm just in case something like this happened,” I thought to myself, with a quick look at her phone she sees that the reason it didn’t wake her was that it was dead.
I quickly pulled on my red and white striped sweater and a pair of baggy blue jeans held up with a pair of suspenders that I wore to every meeting. I grabbed my favorite red clown nose. And dug through my folder of jokes to find the perfect ones for tonight. And pulled on my jacket which was still soaked and run out of the complex in a mad dash tripping on the way out spilling my papers across the floor which I pick up in a hurry.
Thankfully my journey to the club wasn’t as eventful as my journey home. Just the usual constant tripping and being smooshed against people on the train. But I somehow made it, just fifteen minutes late. I ran backstage exhaustingly panting while clutching my chest.
“Where have you been Mary!” a man shouts at her.
“Sorry… train… was… late… overslept….” I said through heavy breaths.
“Just get on stage after whoever is out there is done we can probably squeeze you in.” the man sighs.
“Thanks… it won’t happen again!” I promised, knowing that I probably won’t be able to keep it. After the previous person was finished with their performance I took the stage with a smile and my clown nose on my face. The crowd was massively larger than every other time I had been there. That’s right the person who was before me was a popular local comedian, and he had to stall for me, great. If people had expectations for me they were beyond what I could ever imagine now. With a deep gulp, I took the stage. I greeted the audience, with less than an energetic response from them. Jokes always one over a crowd I thought. I pulled out my joke papers and began to read off of them halfway through a joke I choked up, the punch line was burled due to water damage. I quickly tried to remember what it was but due to my panicked state, I could not even remember a tiny bit of it.
“Get off the stage clown!” a harsh voice shut at her. In the front row sat two goth girls one in purple and the one jeering in green.
“Yeah isn’t their children to scare somewhere else?” the purple goth remarks.
I tried my best to ignore them and finish the joke with whatever popped in my head. The audience didn’t find it remotely funny, not even a chuckle. I shot through her my stumbling under the pressure and messing up each and everyone I practiced every night. The two goth girls' jeers got worse and worse telling her to “Get lost freak!” and “Beat it, bozo!” I tried and tried to reclaim my audience but more and more were booing me off stage. My favorite joke was key to success! But I couldn’t find it. I must have dropped it when I tripped. I stuttered trying to remember it but my brain and mouth wouldn’t function.
Crash!
A cup was sent flying into my face knocking my unbalanced body to the ground and into a pile of papers raining down on top of me. I have coved in sticky soda the crowd laughed at me not because of what I had said or done but due to the visible pain and discomfort my fall has caused me. I fell more times than I could count and they had finally got to me, my body refused to get up. The crowd laughed and jeered at me the foolish girl who tried to make them laugh. I always found slapstick funny and so did the crowds which is my I incorporated it into almost every routine. But this laughter was from a silly clown stumbling and falling, but from me making a fool of myself and getting mistreated. I got to my feet and tried to run away from the malicious laughter but I slipped on the puddle of soda falling face-first into the hard stage. My body felt like it was going to give up on me after all of the abuse it took. I managed to get back to my feet and run out of there with tears in my eyes. But while I was running away I away a familiar oval-shaped figure in the crowd.
“God, I can’t believe that stupid clown got us kicked out Stacy.” The green hair goth scoffs as she and her friend walk through a dark alley.
“I know if anything you actually made that chick's pathetic show entertaining Wendy.” the purple-haired girl Stacy remarks.
“At least you got a video of it, that chick is going to goal viral.” The green-haired girl Wendy laughs.
“Come on, let’s go hit up a bar and watch that clown's life burn.” Stacy laughs.
“Hey, you know that bullying people who are jutht trying to put a thmile on your fathe ith really mean!” a high-pitched squeaky voice says from behind them.
“Who the hell are you, freak” Wendy points to the mysterious figure.
“Yeah, did you and your friend run get lost,” Stacy says mockingly, “The circus is back in loser vill.”
“I don’t like you gothth with all of your makeup and pale thkin you look like a mockery of clownth!” Heart says with an angry look on her face, which made her look more silly the serious.
“What the fuck did you just say about us freak?!” the two goths shout in unison.
“You two look like a mockery of clownth!” the clown shouts back.
“Why don’t we teach this bozo a lesson, Stacy?” Wendy glares over at her friend.
“I couldn’t agree more.” Stacy pulls something out from behind her.
“Magic dust attack!” she shouts blowing pink sparks at the two. The two cover their eyes and mouth from the attack coughing as they inhale the attack.
“Your dead bitch!” Stacy shouts as she charges with a knife. A gloved hand catches her arm. “What the hell?” the knife is snatched from her hand and into the clowns.
“Didn’t you mommy tell you not to play with kniveth,” Heart says as she swings the knife around wildly like a conductor conducting an orchestra. She freezes when two ear-splitting screams fill the alley.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, this can’t be happening!” Stacys cries as her body splits in two down the middle. Where her exposed guts and organs were supposed to be there was an empty black space like a cartoon character. She could move around like normal which made her situation even more terrifying for her. “What the fuck did you do to me?!” she cries trying to put her two halves back together.
“I cut you in half, duh,” the clown says.
“I don’t feel so good…” Wendy says clutching her stomach which had become bloated sticking out past her black crop top. She puts pressure on her stomach and suddenly “PPPRRRRRFFFFFFTTTTTT” came out of her mouth which she quickly coved.
“Oh god, what is happening?” Stacy's cries as her upper body starts to shrink downwards and her feet start to get bigger.
“Why am I getting so bloated?!” Wendy cries in fear. “What did you do to us.” Her body started getting wider turning her chest into a large bloated pancake bursting out of her top.
Stacy’s clothing falls off of her rapidly diminishing body as she cries in terror. Suddenly her shrinking stops. Her mouth was placed on top of her foot with each side of her having a respective eye on each foot, and her foot as larger and toes from a single large mass. “What did you do to me?!”
Wendy’s limbs get absorbed into her body her leaving her just a head attached to a bloated pancake of a body. As she feels a fart escape her mouth. “Please stop we are sorry.”
“Thtop what, all I thee ith a pair of clown thhoeth and a whoopee cuthhion?” the clown asks.
“Stop not wearing me!” the girl turning shoes shouts, “Come on I am made to be worn.” Stacy's body starts to turn into bright rubber being the same purple color as her hair around the bottom and the front of the toes while being shiny white on top. Her hair turns into bright purple laces. And lastly, her mouth hollows out becoming the inside of the shoe. She was nothing but a pair of brightly colored shoes with a large bulbous front. She wanted to worn after all she was a pair of shoes what else could she want, she longed for feet to fill out her insides.
“Yeah, and sit on me what else is a whoopee cushion for?” the girl turning whoopee cushion shouts. Her head turns into a featureless flap and her body turns into green rubber with the words “Gassy Bag” written on it. The whoopee cushion shrinks until it could fit in the palm of someone’s hand letting out a fart as it shrinks. Wendy was nothing but a rubber cushion that had the magical ability to create smelly farts. She always thought that she was an agent of chaos when she was human? Why did she think she was human, she was always a gassy little prank who loved getting sat on and watching her victim panic from her smell.
“Alright looks like everything is ready, for our surprise!” the clown cheered, as she stepped out of the shadows collecting her new objects into a bag that seemed too small for them but fit them with ease.
I sulked into my small dreary apartment leaving a trail of water dripping from me, as I ran out of the place forgetting my umbrella. The train ride home was somehow worse than the first, once again I became a soggy sandwich and not to mention a stick one. What was worse is that I somehow was lucky enough to get stuck between the smelliest people on the train, I’m going to smell like rotten eggs for a week. I tossed my red clown nose in the trash before I flopped on my couch. I gave up, on everything. I doubt a clown could make me smile after what I had been thought. A miserable morning, then fired from my job, then a miserable ride home, then I made a fool of myself and I doubt that I can show my face at the club again. Maybe I should take my parent's advice and make something of myself. But knowing me I would mess it up and make a fool of myself. It seems no matter what I do, I always trip up and fumble. I drifted off to sleep wishing that everything would change and my life would be happier.
DING!
My doorbell rang waking me up, I chose not to answer it knowing that it was probably more bills being dropped off or some bad news that would somehow make this already shitty day even worse. I just wanted to go back to sleep and hope that is a day passed.
DING!
There it was again. I couldn’t bother to move my body. I just wanted to lay on her couch until I passed out.
DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!
Whoever was a the door decided to mash the doorbell in what could only be an attempt to annoy me. Well, whoever it was successful. After all, I had been through today all I wanted was a nap but whoever was at the door had other plans. I threw the door open with a look of pure anger on my face, but no one was there.
“Great ding dong ditchers the last thing I wanted to deal with today,” I thought, but I saw something pink in the corner of my eyes. At my feet was a box wrapped in bright pink wrapping paper. It was about the size of a large shoebox with a large pink bow on top. I looked out into the hall to try and spot whoever left this gift. Upon closer inspection, there was a tag.
“To Mary Howard. From, your biggest fan.” it read.
My biggest fan? I never had any fans, sure at the club, I made people laugh out nothing special. Unless it was someone pulling a prank on me. I took the box inside and slut the door. Either someone actually cared about little old me or it was a prank, and nothing could make this day worse so the latter didn’t faze me. With one swift motion I took the box off, and then I was blinded by a rainbow.
I chough and fanned the assault of colors away. Everything in a 5-meter radius including me was covered in a rainbow of colors. How stupid was I to open the box, I knew it was a prank and yet I fell for it. And I would have to spend all day washing everything to get rid of this tie-die mess. But there was something in the box a note.
On the note, there was a picture of a pink round female clown with heart-shaped hair. It read, “Congratulations! You have been chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Looney Lucy’s Wacky Whimsical Cirus of Fools and Wonders!”
Looney Lucy? I never heard of her, and with this advertising, I’m surprised that I haven’t. There was still more on the card.
“There are three gifts that will lead the way! A friendly friend who loves to bounce will point you in the right direction. A set of squeaky sneakers to keep you on track. And your final gassy gift will be your key.” In small text under the previous lines said. “Smiles, laughter, and joy granted, or your money back! (not that you are paying).
I could use some joy right now so I decided to humor the invitation and look into the box. In the box were a pink balloon with a clown face outline in white, a pair of white and purple oversized clown shoes, and a green whoopee cushion with the words “Gassy Bag” written on it. I had no clue what any of the instructions meant but I decided to start with the balloon. I blew into the end inflating it till it was the size of my head and tie it closed, I found a ribbon that was at the bottom of the box and tied a not to it.
The balloon bounced to life, bouncing back and forth accidentally knocking things over. I fell backward in fear and shock as the balloon suddenly came to life. The balloon took notice of me and drifted towards me. The clown-faced balloon bounced up and down like it wanted to play or lead me somewhere. On closer inspection, the face looked familiar but I could not tell where I recognize it from. This had to be a dream I thought there is no way that this balloon is alive. Well even if it is a dream I’m going to enjoy this living balloon or not.
“Hello, Balloon are you alive?” I asked. After saying that I realized how stupid I sounded. The balloon nodded in response to my question. Oh, god a living balloon what was going on, wait the card said that a friend who loves to bounce will point me in the right direction, could it be talking about the balloon? “Uh, are you going to point me to the circus?” I asked it. The balloon bounced up and down like it was nodding. I stood up from my hiding place and smiled, “So you’re my new friend?” the balloon nuzzled against me, I giggle as I felt the static shocks from it tickling my face. “My name is Mary, and I will call you Pinky.” the balloon bounced around happily rubbing against me. I knew I should have been scared or confused by my new friend Pinky made me feel comfortable and happy. Something I hadn't felt all day. “Pinky can you hold still for a second?” I asked and the balloon floated over to me. I tied the ribbon around my arm. “There, now we won’t get separated Pinky.”
Pinky drags my hand back to the box. “Huh? The shoes?” I asked holding one of them in my hand. It was massive even for clown shoes, I doubt my foot could reach half of it, let alone my ability to walk in them. “But they're way too big for me, I’m just going to trip and fall.” Pinky bounced against the shoe causing me to drop it landing next to my foot. “Is this the only way to go to the circus?” Pinky nods.
I reluctantly put on the shoes, and just like I thought they barely fit me. I took my first uneasy step and was greeted with a loud squeak as my foot touched the ground. I took another step and the shoes squeaked again. A smile formed on my face, as I stomped around the room squeaking around, my steps were uneven and wobbly but just stepping in these shoes was fun enough for me to ignore the difficulty of them, and every time I feel Pinky was there to catch me holding me up.
After I had my fun, I turned back to the box. All that was left was the whoopee cushion. I held it in front of me and Pinky. It was a whoopee cushion we both knew what to do. I tossed the green rubber cushion onto the couch and fell back onto it. It squished under my weight letting a loud fart escape its flap, causing a rainbow cloud to form around me. I pinched my nose and fan my hands to try and escape the smelliest rainbow I had ever imagined. Once the could of gas cleared I was no longer in my apartment.
All around me were trees, but they were colored with all of the colors of the rainbow instead of their usual leafy green and brown bark. The grass I was sitting it felt paper-like as if it was confetti. And the smells were breathtaking, the sweet sugary smells brought me back to when I was a kid in a candy store. All of the sights and smells were too much for me to take in, thankful a nudge from Pinky was able to bring me back to my senses. I got to my feet and noticed something the rainbow dust was gone. My blue jeans were bright yellow and changed their material from denim to a heavy cloth and they were much larger barely being held up by their spenders. My face turned bright red as I looked down and saw my simple panties which now sported a heart pattern. My striped sweater was now yellow and blue instead of red and white and was notably puffier. I pulled out my phone and looked at my reflection on the empty screen. My hair was an artificial neon blue and I had matching lipstick on with a dot on my nose.
“Where am I Pinky?” I asked the balloon as if she could answer back. “What happened to my clothing?” She tugged on my arm with too much force that a balloon should have. Before she could carry me far, I picked up the whoopee cushion figuring that it could take me back home, if I ever need to. Suddenly my feet picked up and moved on their own carrying me in the direction that Pinky was pulling me. “Not you too. Where are you guys taking me?” My squeaky shoes and bouncing balloon didn’t respond and continued to drag me through the multi-colored forest. After a while, I gave in and let them take me to where ever they were going. I figured that anywhere was better than back home. Soon something caught my ear, circus music.
