As this scene from Test Trial #9 shows, there are many things that people are misusing VirtuoRooms. To Patti's defense, she could not really help herself. The mannequin virus had deleted some of her basic subroutines, so the mainframe did a quick replacement to them. However, the database has limited options this early in development. So, it had to choose from the closest place: Sam's code. Sam's "popsicle lick" code became part of Patti's virtual personality, which she ran perfectly four times in a row (before the staff watching the event stopped the simulation and rebooted the system).<br /><br />Patti would later say, once she was pulled out of VirtuoRoom, she had no interest in Sam prior to this moment. They did date for a while after this, which ended soon after, when Sam bragged that her performance in the virtual world was better than in the real world. Had Patti known this would happen, she would have left him as an "erect" virtual mannequin.<br /><br />Two important technical notes: Virtuosuits must be hard-coded better to protect the employees from virtual issues, so new improved suits must be designed. The second is that Patti repeated how much Sam "tasted like a pine tree." While not vital, each virtual person should not taste like anything, so management will decide in the near future if virtual taste buds are even needed.
